Delicious food, friendly staff, everything best.

Although conveniently located, the hotel is very quiet at night. The rooms are friendly and have every comfort you need. Very nice is the breakfast buffet. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Very good value for money. I'd love to come back.

Restaurant for decades a good tip Franconian to go to Nuremberg food. Prices are ordered. Carp is very tasty.

Service friendly, very nice beer garden. Unfortunately, everything from soup to salad to main course, everything is eaten. It's a real pity, because the prices are set a little higher.

The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful (shady, nostalgic, rural flair) and the condition nice.
But apparently this place is premium/gold customer at Metro or another convenience food company. Readysoups, — sauces, — Spätzle, etc. Even the side salad, which was already mostly withered and dried up, was out of the bag (you don't have to start from the salad dressing. Also a ready-made pamphlet from the bucket)
This was not only noticeable in the consistency and sight, but also in the lack of taste of the food.
The price-performance ratio of this restaurant is a real outrage!

Great location, very nice beer garden. Food well, prices normal for Nuremberg (slightly higher). Actually a 4-5 star rating, but the service is really really lame. I had been sitting in front of an empty glass for half an hour, there wasn't much going on, had the feeling of the waiters/waitress had already finished on the evening. Because of upset, I didn't tip. The waiter asks if we could not round up he has no small money. Such a whistle! Too bad actually. Reasonable staff would be conducive to this restaurant.

Lovely setting. We stopped off for a snack and a drink whilst on a walk, the only thing we could see that would suit as a snack was soup, although it was very nice soup!

Cosy family-run hotel and restaurant in the south of Nuremberg, Franconian cuisine, 10 min. Walk to the headquarters of the Federal Employment Agency. Beer garden.

It tasted better. But the ambiance is of course nice and the staff friendly and helpful!

We were with several people to eat. Staff is friendly. Choice of food is sufficient. Waiting time for food acceptable. In a court, a request for change was announced in advance, but then the standard dish was served (for that a star deduction). Complaint management could have been better. Otherwise, eat everything well and price/performance fits so far. Parking is possible as a guest in the underground car park.

Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier dort, waren super zufrieden, sehr leckeres Essen und nette Bedienungen.

The restaurant is traditional fare and equipped with a beautiful beer garden. The service is friendly. It is recommended to Schäufele, game dishes and the onion roast, conditioned the poultry. I am now twice in a row with the 1/4 Goose, which was completely roasted, because probably predetermined rates and far too long in the tube, fell in. Besides, you only get one back part, never a breast piece, but at a decent price. So never more goose in the Petzengarten!

Loving country inn with hotel. Food and service in the restaurant for years at a high level. Again and again themed weeks like game, carp, etc. This can also be said for the hotel. For holidays and weekends, it is advisable to pre-order a table. I have been knowing the restaurant for years and I have now been able to enjoy the hotel for the first time. We'll be back.

Room was clean, modern and generally of good quality. The breakfast was plentiful. A large restaurant is attached to the hotel, which was also very well attended during the week. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Excellent Franconian food in the restaurant which is good value. Nice traditional feel. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and quite spacious.

Real nice authentig frankonian Restaurant and Hotel. I only use the Restaurant I love the baked Karpfen and the typical frankonian potato salad. But only in Linz spelled with an "r"

Erg leuk hotel en goed eten.

We were at the Saturday dinner and am very disappointed. The salad was not fresh and the Schweinemedalions in pepper sauce were almost not to enjoy. We were there in total with 10 people and unfortunately, no one was completely satisfied.
I'm personally more there for the dinner!

Today, we had carp. I am more than disappointed, I would love to have Zero stars to give. Parika in the bread crumbs?! Absolutely too salty! And definitely not fresh fat dry baked… I don't know what went wrong, anyway, big minus to the kitchen. Our carp will therefore not be eaten. Service was not unfriendly but also not nice.

Not the clean Hygiene. Unfriendly Operation. The food leaves something to be desired.

The Quaint ambience of the Petzengarten is quite to my taste. The very salty food, unfortunately, less. Overall, it must be the Franconian cuisine to have like for there to be fed. Nevertheless, my visit there a total of well-liked.

Last week was the 2. Once in the Restaurant Petzengarten. The first Time was about 1 year and I had at that time already not convinced. This Time, it was also not better. My Cordon Bleu was quite passable, but has every 2. Bite after Zitronenspülmittel tasted. I can only assume that the dish is not properly rinsed. My friend had the excavator with Pfifferlingsoße. The were also not good. He said the sauce schmecke0 too salty — as if you have a Tütensoße too long "reduced" and then is concentrated. The here with Convenienceprodukten worked, since I was then the Dessert for sure. The Rhabarberkompott with ice cream us cream was just bad. The rhubarb had a strong purple color, which is actually atypical. The compote tasted so, and as if the rhubarb is not from the field but from Bielefeld (Dr. Oetker). Against ready-made vanilla ice cream, I say Yes nothing but the cream from the spray can was the last. The Hotel may well be good — I can not judge. But the Restaurant, I can absolutely not recommend. There is, in Nuremberg, far better.

Hotel and restaurant Petzengarten in Nuremberg, is really to be recommended! I am more than satisfied and think it is great how you are being treated, and also, otherwise, I have only really positive experience.
