Beautiful quiet place in the countryside not far from the lake. Suite for well-being. Very good rich breakfast in a nice and naturally designed ambience (inside and outside). Individual, very friendly and relaxed interaction with the guests — very nice conversations. Bicycle rental is offered. You get tips for activities and route suggestions.
Those who like it family and rural and can and want to do without the usual "0815 mass handling" are in good hands here…

The nice atmosphere makes the somewhat old rooms good again. In high season quite expensive.

Small cozy hotel. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The owners make every effort to fulfill all wishes with charm and dedication.
Rooms are furnished with lots of love and small details. The only shortcoming is that there are no fly screens.

Booked one day before arrival, we were informed the following day that the hotel was overbooked and we should cancel because a wonderful solution had been found. The phone call with the 4-star hotel that took us in (namely the Hotel Villa am See in Hagnau) showed that we had a very good but provisional solution for us, we should cancel quickly. The hotel is well run but somewhat stuck in the chic of the 80s. However, we were accommodated there in the anteroom of the sauna. On the armchairs lay old rolls of toilet paper, the Wi-Fi barely worked, no glasses available, the light on the bed did not work, the cheap IKEA cupboards were full of bathrobes and cooking pots.
In the end we were accommodated in the changing room of the sauna in the basement and instead of the 250th — per night in the Elfenhof, "only" 200th — per night in the sauna. After all, with breakfast. Apart from the anachronistic ambience in the dining room and the very beautiful view of the lake, breakfast could hardly be more than in any half-inspired hotel.
After half a morning of talking about it, we were granted a discount of 40th — an early departure and a cancellation of the second night were not allowed. And beware: we were immediately told that we had finally agreed and lost all claims with the cancellation of the first operation. There was some taste coming through.
With innkeepers and a bottle of white wine from the shelf above the Bückzone we were then appeased for the WE.

A cosy room with a small (but completely sufficient) balcony. Very attractive, almost lovingly designed breakfast area and adjoining garden. A very pleasant, helpful landlord always had excursion tips and more in stock. We felt very comfortable. Very happy to return.

We felt very comfortable. The hosts have given us the feeling of being "welcome" from the very first minute. The rooms and outside of the garden are decorated with a lot of love. We'll be back again.
