Were there tonight for dinner. Reception was as usual very friendly and professional.
We were taken to the reserved table,
received open cards and Apero requests were queried.

The ordered drinks were served quickly,
The food order accepted.

We received a delicious greeting from the kitchen, fresh light and a successful prelude.

All ordered dishes were good, for my taste somewhat delicately tasted, but modern presented and handcrafted flawless.

The service always present, unobtrusive and very friendly. Overall everything great.

We'll definitely be back.

We were with 4 people for dinner on the terrace. The food and the wines on offer are in harmony. This evening was perfectly rounded off by the great and courteous service staff.

The choice of food on the menu up to the dressing and taste are like poetry. Unforgettable harmony in full-bodied commonality.

Great food and atmosphere!

I did not receive a reply to my reservation request by e-mail for a table on the terrace or in the council room. No response to renewed demand. This is an absolutely poor service and it is not possible. Too bad, have eaten there a few years ago 2x, food was very good. But it doesn't seem to be necessary. Then not. There are enough very good restaurants in the area.

Let's start. The food took a very long time, fine dining looks different. Far from what the word means. The price is not justified for what you have on your plate, neither in taste nor in quality.
Verdict: Very disappointing.

We stayed at the restaurant eating. The food was very good. We were all very happy with the different menus. We found the operation friendly and attentive. The price performance ratio is good.

The hotel is great and breakfast is a real treat and I would like to give four stars but there were a few small shortcomings.

Hello, We have been to the Hotel Mohren four times in recent years and have always been very happy with the food, the wellness area and the friendliness of the staff. For this reason, three years ago I gave my partner a voucher for two nights in the comfort A double room with balcony. For health reasons, we have never been able to redeem this voucher in the last three years, but this year has started well for us in terms of health and so of course we wanted to redeem the voucher at first. So I called the hotel and asked if the voucher was still valid at all, I was told at the reception that the voucher was still valid, so I immediately made an appointment for 2nd 5-4 5th 18. When we checked out today, I was told that we still had to repay something, because we have just had the main season and I would have bought the voucher in the low season on November, so a shortfall of 37.10€ would still be due … I was baff, because from the season prices no one has told me anything yet. Then came another sentence of the receptionist, well, for that I now give them but the park fees … Hm, which is now behind it … We are sooo disappointed that this was our last stay at Hotel Mohren.

We, a wedding couple, stayed in the hotel for a week. 10 of our guests had booked 5 double rooms for 1-3 nights. After our wedding on the 21st 4th we celebrated with 15 people in the restaurant.
The food offered for the celebration was very poor, but the food ordered was good after our guests were also allowed to order from the children's menu.
Also the menus during our stay were delicious. We were always served very correctly and politely but there was no cordiality.
There were no congratulations from the hotel or restaurant to the wedding.
We would have liked to have a small card in the room or a friendly handshake. Only the nice lady at the reception had Mondays when she came back to work, friendly congratulations for us. At all, the reception staff stood out pleasantly, they always had a smile and friendly salutations left for us.
The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful, it was constantly refilled. Also the service at breakfast was extremely friendly.
The room was adequate, the service was changeable and a bit forgetful. One of our guests was angemotzt by the maid when asked about the broken fridge in the room.
WLAN only went in the early morning, you could at least download the home newspaper. Otherwise the net was definitely too weak and threw us out constantly.

Nice staff, delicious food and parking nearby. The toilets are nice and clean. Can recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast buffet was rich, taste and quality great. The rooms are modern and large. The 2 saunas (90 ° C and 60 ° C) were very nice. Relaxation room and showers were there, just like foot bath and ice to rub off. Unfortunately, the steam room was out of service.

Very friendly staff, nicely designed hotel and garden, great breakfast area with garden and breakfast, room spacious, big TV, very low ceiling, humid and warm, less than average bathroom for a hotel of this kind.

We are planning on having our wedding here this year so I can only talk about the service and it is very good. We also had a wine/menu tasting at which the food was extremely well prepared and the staff was very competent. The whole restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy, giving it an all around comfortable feel. The restaurant manager we meet with speaks English and German, has a calm demeanour and is experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

I just have to control myself that I don't get into swarming. The hotel is great. The staff super friendly. The New Year's Eve party perfectly organized u it was immediately responded to special requests. Since I am not allowed to eat fish, I was prepared a very tasty beef fillet. What was touted as a " small breakfast " turned out to be a giant buffet, just great. There are many little things that just make the stay perfect. And what I find most amazing is this young crew. The chef very young, but a master of his trade. Thank you very much for this phenomenal getaway.

At 9: 00, we wanted to enjoy even the evening outside. It took a long time until someone took care of us. The Apérol spritz was inedible, because much too sweet. The answer of the waiter: This makes the bartender always like. Much water could it down gagging the drink. It was positive that Antibrumm has been made available, because there were many terrible mosquitoes. If it were always so, you would have to go there.

My wife and I have held on 30 may 2015 Mohren Ganter hotel & restaurant our wedding celebrations. It has really everything fit: the food was excellent and the services always polite and courteous. We have received consistently positive feedback from our wedding guests. Also the entire planning of the celebrations has worked perfectly. Everything was discussed in detail with the restaurant manager or his Deputy and also held a banquet contract and implemented to our satisfaction. The only thing worth mentioning is that we the 6 rooms above the event Hall (Abt Strabo Hall) use had to listen to loud music, was not a problem, because we have accommodated our guests from further away. The food consisted of a served hors d'oeuvres followed by a buffet. That has worked very well and it was more than fully calculated. Also setting up and cutting the wedding cake has worked out wonderfully.
In addition, both the "Abbot Strabo" Hall and also the adjoining terrace with Leek furniture offers a beautiful atmosphere.
We can only recommend this Loctian for weddings up to 50 persons.

I was there a few days ago and it is too warm/hot in the rooms, no air conditioning… The whole House seems to be but heated up. One could hardly sleep with open balcony door, you hear talk about the others. Breakfast seem only to "shit trainees" the store's is annoying if always at some point someone admits to what. The young ladies need to learn a little discretion and courtesy. I sat outside and was on the 3rd day of breakfast happy about it I more or less had my rest.

Super warm team. Top services in all areas! It is always a pleasure to be pampered with you!

We were on the occasion of a pending Test or Vorbereitungsessen" in the Restaurant Mohren, to our wedding for 2015, to discuss. From the stv. Restaurant Manager, we were greeted warmly, and he took about 1.5 hours time, our wishes with us to discuss and for us to advise. Although at this time yet in no way was clear, that we are there for our Celebration also really want to do, was very invested a lot of time for us. Mr. Kostka was also well prepared, made many notes, and was really friendly. After the discussion, he showed us the premises and "handed" to us, then to his colleague at the front Desk. We were then also still wines for our wedding meal (there were extra bottles of wine opened) and were also as well and according to our advice. The four glasses of wine, we got even more donated. Just as one wishes gastronomy! We are already looking forward to the rehearsal dinner for our Hochzeitsmenu and we are sure that we are in 2015 in the best hands and be our guests as carefully supervised and spoiled, as we did yesterday.
