Wow. What a Pension. Had a great time there, even though it was 2nights, but the owner very friendly and helpful. The place is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it.

Very bad! This is not at all the typical cosy and warm hotel/gasthof it says it is on booking. Com or on their own website. Basically the place is closed down! Yes you can rent a room (on their own website they now call themselves Bed&Breakfast…except they had no breakfast, what a joke this place), and no atmosphere or service at all. The bar is closed, the restaurant is closed, the breakfast is closed. All closed for good. An empty building where you can rent a room, nothing more. If this was clearly stated on booking. Com, or on their website, we would definitely not have booked this place.
The owner said when we checked in that they had no breakfast. The next morning he said it was possible but we had to pre-order, he would get it from a place across the road or something.
It is clear that he only wants to earn some easy money with renting out rooms, and the rest you have to sort out yourself. He also blamed it on not being able to find staff, funny that all the other hotels do manage…
In addition, no glasses or cups in the rooms, no soap or shampoo in the showercabin, the showerdoor was leaking so water all over the bathroom, the end of the bed where you put your head was pealing off and this falls into your bed.
Further more, this place is 20 meters from a main through road, so if you have a room at the front you cannot sleep at night, there is always traffic, day and night and loud.
We booked for 2 nights but left this place after 1 night.

Such a cute place to stay while visiting Garmish. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is very quiet and the staff welcoming. Convenient parking and easy to find. I recommend Zum Schweizerbart.
