Perfect hotel. Boris at reception is a great guy, breakfast tasty, views amazing, location amazing. Very much recommended.

We had a great stay. Everything was super clean and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and excellent every morning. The location was a nice walk from the centrum and the train station but it was nice to see all the beautifully painted houses. The hostess was very warm and friendly and even gave us an early Christmas present of chocolates! Would definitely stay there again.

This was one of the cutest hotels we stayed at during our trip around Europe. My girlfriend speaks a little German and spoke to the lovely owner and we received the loveliest service during our one night stay. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived as we only booked online a few hours before arriving but they made sure to make up our room as soon as we arrived and did everything they could to make us feel welcome.
The rooms are on the smaller side but we had a nice ensuite with a good shower and a beautiful balcony with views of the mountains and a nice outdoor table to enjoy the morning sun.
The property freshly cook and prepare breakfast everyday and they had a beautiful buffet ready. This was included in the price and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back and thank you so much for looking after us!

We had a wonderful stay here. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. They allowed us to leave our bags until check in was available. The rooms appear a bit dated, but their rustic appearance adds to the charm and character of the place. Everything was very clean including breakfast. Bathroom shower is a bit small, but nothing to complain about. Definitely recommend anyone stay here!

Heaven on earth! Quiet rooms with fantastic view. Very nice neighborhood, 10 minutes walking from train station. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast sooo fresh and tasty… I would be very grateful if there was a kettle in the room.

Rooms were very nice and clean. Water was hot. Bed was very squeaky on one side but we were able to fix it the next morning. Close enough to walk to several restaurants or the Olympic stadium but on a quiet street.

This hotel provided a pleasant stay with amiable staff, reliable internet, a satisfying breakfast with mountain view, and a convenient location near the main station. And clean too. Highly recommended.

The hotel is away from the maddening crowd of this very tourist centric town (of which I'm a big fan of). In a nice residential area with a few other Hotel Garnies around the facilities are wonderful. We had room 3 which is a larger two room with a nice sitting area and separate bedroom (the toilet was in the sitting area and the shower (fantastic shower) in the bedroom. Both rooms had TVs which we didn't turn on. The view of the backyard and the mountains was great. The breakfast and the owner's wife were wonderful.
UNFORTUNATELY the hotel is closing in September as they owners retire and relocate. Not sure what will become of the place. Will be a loss if it closes entirely.
While the location is good for peace and quiet there's also a lack of restaurants in the near vicinity. Also not close to a bus stop. So be prepared to walk a bit or call for a Taxi. The Olympic Ski jumps are just a short walk up the street.

Service of the host was great – welcoming and very friendly. Garmisch and its surrounding mountains create an atmosphere to enjoy a stay in Haus Trifthof. Just a couple of minutes walking distance to the city centre with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Room was more than nice and clean with comfortable bed and patio seating. Breakfast was ample, fresh and tasty. I would definitely return to stay again and recommend.

We were wishlessly happy, great and clean rooms, good location, very nice hosts, a great breakfast with varied choices found the idea ingenious that each room got a "breakfast note" to enter its wishes for the morning (possibly because of Corona but I would even keep it).
In a nutshell, we felt very comfortable and would like to come back.
