Great Guesthouse with nice hostess and a great view of the mountains.
Great décor of the rooms, super clean and cozy. (where there are these great chairs) The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared, even our son (an absolute breakfast muffle) found something every morning. There was something for every taste.
Also the breakfast room was really cozy pity we were only two nights there.

Bavarian hotel with a great hostess. Centrally located, very nice large rooms with terrace and garden access, in quiet location. A breakfast that you can only dream of and that leaves nothing to be desired. Only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. View of Karwendel Mountains and ISAR.

The place itself is agreeable. The rooms are nice and clean. Great breakfast. And close to the main street of Mittenwald, the Obermarkt. Unfortunately, in my case, the reception was not the best.

This guesthouse is the best I know in Middle forest. Been there twice so far. We were accommodated with dog downstairs with a terrace. All very well maintained. Room impeccable. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. The boss is a perfect host.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gästehaus Edlhuber. We walked there from the train station without a problem, and our host was very friendly and flexible the whole time. And the room! A gorgeous view of the mountains, spacious and with a huge and very comfortable bed, beautiful wood furniture and fixtures, and a very nice and recently remodeled bathroom. We were blown away, and would love to stay there again in any season. Breakfast every morning was, as it should be, a sacred and slow process, full of delicious food personally served by our host and fostering good conversation (if one wanted it) with the other guests. Plus, from the b&b you can walk to the main walking area/shopping area, or more importantly for us you can walk to a lot of trailheads in 10min or less.

Angelika (the owner) is a friendly and energetic host. The rooms are large, nicely decorated in an alpine German style, and are impeccably clean. The breakfast is incredible and shouldn't be missed. It includes several kinds of fruit, bread, cakes, muffins, cereals, juice, milk, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, yogurt, and a plate of assorted cuts of meat and cheese. Every room has a small balcony and a view of the surrounding mountains. It's located a short walk from the center of town, so its quiet and removed from the busy tourist area. The trailhead for the Leutascher Gorge is across the street. We've stayed here twice and both times were outstanding. One of the best guesthouses in Germany.
