Super hotel with very nice wellness area. Perfect service and delicious food.

The hotel is amazing the view the rooms and the food is perrrfeect”dinner”! Except the people at the reception not friendly at all We had fun in this place.

Don't eat in the afternoon. Dinner from 6. Wait really in the bar which has no Windows dark. Although on the stand advertising-"Amazing view of the mountains" at the entrance of a gloomy and surly aunt on the noses of 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great Attention to details. One of the best restaurants we ever had the pleasure to visit.

Eat perfect. The room was very good. Location Central. Bus 2min away.

Here you can have a wonderful spoil. From an excellent cuisine, the perfect wellness offer to the staff, which is very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice. I personally loved the antique decor and the paintings on the walls. We enjoyed the breakfast. The view was beautiful! Dinner was already booked for the entire weekend when we arrived on Friday night, so I can’t attest to that, but the staff recommended a lovely restaurant in walking distance. Our stay included public transit passes for the duration of our stay which came in handy. I was able to purchase my ticket to visit the Zugspitze at the front desk. I had a very therapeutic massage while my family went skiing. We enjoyed the pool area and sauna. The pool is small, but the staff informed me of that when I booked. Everyone we encountered in the pool/sauna area was clothed. Our small dog was able to join us for this trip as well. We would highly recommend this place and stay again. I hope your stay is as nice ours.

Nice location, great restaurant, decent room.

Nice hotel with good food. Located below the Zugspitze. Dinner in four course menu. Very good quality for us. Service and reception super friendly. The room was OK. The bathroom was too small. Slightly negative the stains on the upholstery in the restaurant as well as in the breakfast area. Hotel can be booked in any case.

Beatifully located with charming interiors. The restaurant serves delicious food, but there is only a short daily menu to choose from (but vegetarian friendly). And wonderful breakfast!

My wife and I had a short term search for a hotel with a very good location to the Zugspitze.
As we absolutely wanted to go up to the Zugspitze with the brand new cable car that holds three technical world records.
The Romantik Alpen Hotel Waxenstein was the best choice.
We found there a short term room and offer for short-determined and booked a spa treatment.
The overnight stay was in double room with balcony and mountain View:-)
On arrival there were fruit in the room and discount on spa treatments at the hotel;-)
(incl. Rental bathrobe, bath towels, rental Badeschuhe for the spa area)
We took a full bath in a luxury whirlpool with honey milk bath (incl. Alpine salt peeling) afterwards followed the combination massage for back & feet which lasted easily 45 minutes it was one of the best massages we have ever had!
Afterwards we relaxed in the cosy wellness area and used the whirlpool.
In the evening there was a delicious 4 course menu.
In short, a very nice hotel with very good food in top location.
Must visit again in the summer.

Small, fine hotel with excellent cuisine, very friendly staff, especially the service in the restaurant, wonderful wellness area as well as lovingly furnished and perfectly clean rooms. We wanted to thank you again in retrospect with a review.
We were in the beginning of November, after our wedding to rest with you.
It was so beautiful.
Your rooms were spacious, clean and optimally furnished, the only minimal downside was the carpeting.
Your service and your kitchen deserve at least one star. We haven't eaten so well for a long time.
Your wellness area is small, but leaves nothing to be desired.
Your wellness treatments were wonderful, above all the G ' Sundheitspackerl for two was great!
The surrounding area speaks for itself, surrounded by mountains you can only feel comfortable.
Again a heartfelt thank you family pretty.

Nice, clean hotel, warm atmosphere before the New Year. I wish only, the room could be a little bit bigger!

We were the first time at the Romantik Alpine Hotel Waxenstein, but certainly not the last time very friendly staff sensational food, little Downer the little spa area, therefore also No 5 star.
Nevertheless highly recommended.

After a long time, I really have to comment on the evaluation of this so-called "Anthony Katja". How she expresses herself about the house is now really laughable.
— The first point is sometimes one of the most ridiculous points. Do you have your own children? If you write so I do not go from what do you think the staff should have done? Also the little guests have the right to comfortable in the hotel all around or do not you mean!? Why not even the parents addressed? ;) The word child actually explains itself… well!
— Random way I was on site at the same time and absolutely cannot confirm that buffet was not replenished. On request I even got paprika. ;) You would have to talk to the local staff at times to vllt the background.
Inedible? What a wide-ranging word, I find it actually quite disdainful to talk about food. Especially if you know what a pagan work and lifeblood is behind every day of a cook. Every cook is human and every person has a bad day, but I beg you.
— now comes the point where I had to laugh out loud and at the same time did not know where to go with rage. Wait 15min? Are you serious? If you're unlucky, some days it won't even be faster at McDonald's without comparing the hotel now. But 15min to the main course… I still feel good to remember that there was a welcome from the kitchen, appetizer and soup… I don't think you're starved in time:)
And honestly, aren't you on vacation?

We had the Room 101, diagonally opposite the reception, which of course resulted in significant guest movements. The House in general I feel as noisy. Room is normal, bathroom very small. Cleanliness in a normal area.
The sauna area is unfortunately very limited.
Breakfast is recommended.
What is more than borderline, my car was on the road, parking fees are charged for it. The invoice was also not corrected on request.

+ Beautiful view + well-groomed spa area + well-groomed spa — dinner and breakfast were two noisy children, nothing was done on the part of the staff — plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty — breakfast buffet was not replenished, tomatoes are the only ones Vegetables and the fruit probably from the week before last week — The dinner was very common to get used to, especially the sauces, to the point of inedible — Although the hotel was probably not even half busy, we waited 15 minutes for the main course at dinner — our room was probably n It was correspondingly noisy to the kitchen, correspondingly loud in the morning — In the spa there were only 10 loungers.

My expectations were disappointed! Prices absolutely outrageous for the offered. Room Small and dirty. Color on wall, door, door frame burst off. Indefinable yellow spots stains on the wall. Staff neutral but kept in order.
Reading device for room card defective! Three-time exchange of the card! Dinner is almost impossible to enjoy. A lot of my guests have had their food go back or not eat it up. I can say that you can't offer such courses in combination and order and even the individual dishes tasted so bad that we ate in Garmisch on the following days. The pool was clean and pleasant.

Great hotel :) cozy comfortable rooms and an amazing spa. Would gladly recommend it to anyone.

Gorgeous intimate hotel with beautiful views. Relax in the pool area looking out at the mountains ❤️ The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Much smaller than we expected however, cramped among lots of other buildings and guesthouses.

You don't go wrong here, it's worth what you pay. Clean and very cozy. The view from the rooms is amazing. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was getting a parking for my full size van.

Wonderful hotel with everything you could ask for. Very very friendly staff and big, clean rooms full of light with breathtaking views of the Alps. Just a 5 minute drive to Eibsee. Highly highly recommend!

We spent a weekend in the very nice hotel… super love, cordial staff… The spa area is very clean and nicely laid out…
The kitchen is highly recommended.
Here you do nothing wrong…
Above all the breakfast on the panoramic terrace is a dream…
We would always come back here…

Four stars are really attached here. Nice staff, super sophisticated food, nice rooms as well as a very nice spa area. A small criticism is that the bar, unfortunately,
Closes at 23:30.

A nice and friendly staff in all areas.
Dinner really an experience, the proposed wine very fitting, breakfast variety, these Sonderünsche are met at all times.
Single (not quite serious uses shortcoming: if already Weisswurst, then please don't burst up. ) As someone not on the temperature has taken well. And that is of course a mortal and a terrible sight for a Munich!
Otherwise all around everything perfectly and only recommended.

Sensational kitchen — small selection on Star what's far level — the best and are wide.

Incredibly beautiful location with great views, friendly staff, very good kitchen and comfortable homely rooms… we were very surprised.

Class Food. With the car in 10 minutes at the Eibsee! Walk 5 minutes in the Grainauer city centre. Drinks prices a bit higher than normal, otherwise Top Hotel.

The food is excellent.
