Super friendly staff and mega knowledgeable. The guest is simply king. The wellness area is just mega horny. Highly recommended. The rooms are nice size and clean. The breakfast is rich and tasty. We will be back in August!

Very spacious and comfortable family room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with natural orange juice and good restaurant on half board. Free parking. Facilities and rooms old-fashioned, without air conditioning (required in summer), although they provide you with a fan.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet and dinner were excellent. Hotel and rooms always very clean. Also positive is the fixed table and the small morning reading with excursion tips, weather report and menu recommendation for dinner. Parking a bit cramped, the direct location on the main road did not bother us personally. Bus stop right next to the hotel was very convenient to travel comfortably in the place. We'll be happy to come back.

I just spent a week at the Hotel Rheinischler Hof — in Garmisch on business. It’s a wonderful hotel. Typical Bavarian in its decor, clean, quiet, comfortable beds, lots of accessible outlets for charging devises, beautiful patio and swimming pool. Room was perfect. Right there on the main floor with a walk-out to the patio. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The restaurant is excellent. Best breakfast ever (included in the room charge) and a delicious dinner menu — reasonably priced.

Beautiful Hotel with Wlan, Sauna, Steam Room, Restaurant, … The Bus stops right in front of the Hotel. The Reception was very friendly and helpful.

This was our fourth annual visit to this hotel. Good value for money. Superb, knowledgable staff and in a great location for a ten minute walk into town or a ten metre walk to the bus stop. Another memorable holiday.

Our room view was spectacular, we were seeing mountains and slopes from wide balcony. To reach the skiing center was easy because the bus stop is front of the hotel and bus pass is free. Variety and richness of breakfast was exceptional. Dinners were excellent, we'd have dinner every night different local cusine. Dinners are included our room price. Room price is value of breakfast and dinner 's cost.

Conference: The meeting room is not really nice. The coffee is a disaster. The service in the restaurant is not really nice.
The food is the same every day.

A very successful stay. A few rooms further, the Norwegian AlpinTeam was housed. You could feel the family atmosphere between the hotel team and the Norwegians! :-) The wellness area is versatile and offers something for everyone! I'll be happy to come back!

Very friendly and helpful staff, brilliant breakfast and dinner is very good value. John is brilliant looking after the dinner service and made it a pleasurw. The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable. We did not use the wellness centre so cannot comment. A couple of minor issues are that the hotel needs to ensure that in winter the rooms in the apartment building are warm when guests arrive (it took some time to get sufficiently warm) and also to freely offer help with luggage on arrival. Overall a lovely friendly hotel where we would happily stay again.

An impeccable place in every way.

Clean, quiet hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms were cozy and clean, the furnishings modernized. We even had fresh fruit as well as bathrobes and slippers in the room. Breakfast and course menu in the evening were perfectly fine. There are ample parking spaces and the bus stops right outside the door, the city centre and slopes are within easy reach. Thank you for the nice stay, we will be happy to come back.

Great hotel! My husband and I stayed over the Christmas holiday and really enjoyed it. The room was cozy with a great view of the mountains and Christmas cookies were waiting for us when we checked in which was a super cute touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I don’t speak much German but the wait and reception staff speak great English and do a wonderful job explaining to you the area and what there is to do there. They also sell the Zugspitze lift cards and the bus ticket is included with the stay. The breakfast and dinner also did not disappoint. I would recommend this hotel to a friend visiting Garmisch for the first time and I would stay here again.

You will not be disappointed at this wonderful establishment. Everything about our stay was perfection — from its location to their staff to their rooms — it was all an incredible experience. We will be back during our next European adventure!

We were 8 people 4 adults and 4 children. We had 4 in each room and still there was ample room to get around, and the beds had enough pillows and was very comfortable. We loved the breakfast and the fresh pressed orange juice. The short walk to the restaurant and old town was quick enough and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant greatly. The staff was very friendly!

Loved the free breakfast with lovely options. And the bathtub was wonderful. Rooms are small but very comfortable for 2 people with sitting area as a bonus. Parking is tight. I will come again to the restaurant just for breakfast … loved the muesli options.

This quaint hotel was perfect! Our room was large with two balconies, both with a view of Zugspitze and the mountains. John, the dining room host was spot on with his dinner suggestions and Rita, the concierge, was awesome. We would definitely stay again!

Family vacation at Bavarian Alps. Excellent hotel location for mountain hiking. Easy access to German and Austrian Alps. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Friendly and helpful front desk and dinner serving stuff made our stay really pleasant and relaxing.

How to spend a stay in the mountains taking care also of relaxation and reading.

Excellent hotel and outstanding value; they have thought of every convenience, and the rooms are spacious and really well laid out. I sometimes wonder, when traveling, whether hotel proprietors have ever spent a night in their own rooms (if they had, surely they'd change some things) — — well, it seems the people who run the Rheinischer Hoff actually have stayed in their rooms and have carefully considered how to make them livable and comfortable. If you're staying more than a night, there is ample cabinet and closet space to unpack; built-in areas to lay your suitcase; work room and lots of surface counter room, so you don't have to pile everything onto a small space. The bathrooms are spacious and have everything, from magnifying mirror to full-sized blow dryer, even down to packaged wet wipes. The bed is comfortable and spacious, ditto the balconies, and there's plenty of room to move around the room. The hotel restaurant was excellent; we had a "half pension" with breakfast and dinner. If you're used to American-style included breakfasts, you'll be amazed at the scope of this breakfast. Dinners are multi-course and offer several choices. There's a roomy courtyard with outdoor tables where you can sit and read a book or order a drink and enjoy the sun. There's a pool and a sauna, and the hotel booking comes with free bus tickets for your party, allowing you to move around the city easily. The staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful.

We found the hotel more than met our expectations, with comfortable and spacious rooms (we were in the annex across the road). Breakfast and evening meal were also very good, with staff courteous and helpful throughout. The location is a little out of the town centre, 15 minutes walk approx, but the free bus cards and very regular services both to town and the various lifts etc made this a non-issue. Would be more than happy to return.

All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent with a very large choice. The evening meal was good value and good quality with excellent service. The hotel is conveniently situated, ten minutes walk from the centre of Garmisch.

Shortly determined, super address through the reception, get good tips for hikes. Bus stop directly next to it. Happy to return.

Very nice hotel about 1km from the town center. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a nice balcony looking out at the mountains. The restaurant was splendid, one of the best meals we've had in Germany! The staff was gracious and extremely helpful. Special thanks to John for our ice bucket!

The staff was wonderful. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious. The views were breathtaking. The only issue we had was noise from the road. No central air means open windows (not a problem in Garmisch), but our rooms were at the front of the hotel. This meant the best view from our balcony, but also noise from the busy street. Certainly not a detraction from the overall quality of the hotel, but something to consider when choosing a room. Oh, one extra bonus. Laundry service that was quick and reasonably priced. That really helps keep the suitcase smaller on a long holiday. We will definitely come back!

Exceeded expectations! My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Rheinischer Hof! We had a beautiful room (mini apartment) with plenty of space and a mini kitchen. The staff was very helpful beginning with my call to make reservation. The breakfast was exceptional! We celebrated my wife's birthday during our stay and the hotel staff (Andreas) made it special!

— Big rooms. We had 2 Doppelzimmer and 1 Einzelzimmer. All had a sitting part with couch and/or chairs, so it was like having a suite. — Also special rooms for disabled persons. Those in our company were very pleased with the bathroom facilities. — Within a few years the rooms will have to be remodelled in order to escape the judgement "faded glory". — Small balcony, with semi transparent glass which offers only limited privacy. — The room we were in had a slanting ceiling above the toilet which can be awkward for longer persons. — Staff was very friendly, though the restaurant was understaffed which kept us waiting quite some time. All in all a good and recommended place to stay.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English, everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was great. The location is a short drive from downtown Garmisch, too far to walk. But the free bus passes make up for that. Convenient to get to Zugspitze. We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff and a quaint hotel. Despite the savings offer, we got a room with views of the Zugspitze. Also the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Because the buses of lines 1 and 2 on the doorstep, it's quickly with the transport.

The Rheinische Hof is a cosy family hotel, the leaves nothing to be desired. In the charming rooms, equipped with balcony, you will feel good all round. The more than generous Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired — you can use it in a beautifully landscaped courtyard to enjoy. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately I had no time, pool and Spa, to test — I will on my next stay to make up. Thank you for the wonderful week in your house (even the dog has it genosssen:-) and again, kind regards to the very nice family and the friendly staff.

We stood there for four nights and it was very good;Bedroom immense, nice shower, good breakfast with all you can wish. A little far from the center but the bus runs just out of the door. My stay at the Rheinischer Hof was very pleasant! The staff is very courteous and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. They had Free Wi-Fi with a good signal. Mountain views are breathtaking. Almost everyone speaks English in this hotel and service is excellent. A big breakfast buffet awaits every morning with fresh squeezed orange juice. I would most certainly stay again. Dogs are welcomed as well.

What a great find! Friendly and helpful staff, great location and unbeatable views. We had a large terrace with almost 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains. Would definitely recommend a stay.

A small hotel away from the center. Room I stayed in was small but clean and sufficiently comfortable for a few nights. Free Wi-Fi with a good signal. Mountain views and skiing are great. Almost everyone speaks English in this hotel and service is excellent. A big breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning with fresh squeezed orange juice. Looking through the glass enclosure of the orange juice machine squashing fresh oranges is entertaining and assures that what you are drinking is real and fresh. A variety of baked goods, meats, cheeses, coffee drinks and high quality German breads. This hotel is a good value.

I recently stayed at the Rheinischer Hof. It was a fantastic place for the money. The breakfast was of a great variety of food. The best I have had in my 5 weeks in Europe. It was located in a clean area with free parking. A bus stop across the street. The staff was exceptional, especially Andreas and Monica. Thank you Andreas for making my stay in the hotel so pleasant. And Andreas, I hope you are not mad at me but when I left I helped my self to two of the wonderful soft pretzels that you serve in the kitchen. That was an extra treat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
