There is a great atmosphere in the hotel! The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It offers beautiful and spacious country-style rooms lovingly furnished. Coffee & cake, as well as a nice chat with the owner are included in the afternoon, the breakfast is also top!

The rooms could be equipped with air conditioning, and the location is not entirely central. But all of this was made up for by the above. We will certainly be back!

The Föhr House is already a good House. The Föhr House is not only a Hotel, there are also Apartments here. The Föhr Courtyard is accessed via the Loisach Bridge. This House and also Apartments are quietly located on the Outskirts of the Village. Nearby, for Example, are the Cow-escape water Cases.

We had booked an apartment and were thrilled. Clean, modern and high-quality. All desirable household appliances are available. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The apartments have a parking space, are located on the edge of the forest. Within walking distance are restaurants, bakery, hiking trails and the outdoor swimming pool. Definitely happy again.

Not cheap, but inexpensive. Great Hotel, great staff and very tasty food. If I'm on my scooter tour to Italy, I will come sure again with you. A great accommodation at an affordable price.

1st class We arrived very late at night from Scotland for just an overnight stay We were welcomed so warmly and shown to immaculately clean rooms Everything had a rare combination of quality and charm, old and modern, nothing tired but so much character Breakfast was great too.

Very nice hotel with apartments with full kitchen, dining area and living room. Owner and staff are very friendly. Also has regular hotel type rooms. Short ride to Garmish. Quaint little town.

Verry help full with everything and check in offered us coffee and cake as soon as we go there if was free with the room. Breckfast is free too so fare well worth the price and great staff would stay here again no problem. Would recommend to others to try out.

The best. Top. Wonderful hosts, great food, and cozy beautiful rooms for a great price. Look no further, you found the perfect spot. Make sure you plan to eat dinner late as you won't be very hungry after coffee and cake at 1500.

You are greeted like an old friend who comes home. Good breakfast, nice rooms. The coolest is the free afternoon buffet. Dinner can be saved then:-)

This was my second time; however, the service the second time was questionable. They will not process VAT forms. So, when you are 500-600 euros, it starts to add up. I made reservations a month prior to showing up, I had asked for specific room, the same room the month prior, I even had them recite what I just stated to ensure they captured the info in the computer. When I got there, receptionist looked at me with a confused look and had no idea, even though it was the same person prior. Internet is, ok.

Very good hotel, very nice breakfast and on top still free afternoon a small snack in the form of cakes, Brez or yogurt and that quite still rounded off with a very nice chef who said every time he came to the restaurant: "Eat it people eat it" and a Friendly service that takes care of the rest!

Clean, Cozy and Comfortable rooms with Beautiful Deco, Great breakfast, served with lot of love. Nice and Quiet location … and not to forget — 'Cafe und Kuchen' every evening. Even if you are late, it will be offered with so much love that you can't refuse.

Beautiful setting in this quiet Bavarian village, close to Garmisch. Hospitality is amazing as are the fantastic cakes made by Michael. Breakfast is fabulous. Rooms all have character and are spotlessly clean. Lots of good restaurants nearby serving traditional German dishes.

Very good hotel, quietly located, away from the cooking mixer hustle and bustle. Super Breakfast and the icing on the cake is the selbergemachte cake of the boss, who is also pastry chef. Every afternoon coffee drinking with the dishes is delicious.

Excellent, friendly service and beautiful location.

This place is an absolute Bavarian paradise. The room we stayed in was wood paneled with a cozy corner table, balcony with a view of the dramatic mountains, and ultra modern bathroom. The beds were wonderfully comfortable with good quality mattresses and freshly pressed linens. The chamber personnel cleaned our room immaculately every day while we were enjoying breakfast. Breakfast is a Bavarian feast of excellent quality fresh baked goods like croissant and whole grain rolls, a big selection of fresh meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and local farm fresh eggs. Delicious! The orange juice is from real oranges and an assortment of gourmet coffees flows from a great Swiss coffee machine. The food and beverages are more than plentiful and the atmosphere here is cozy with a tasteful classic Bavarian style with no sign of kitsch. Free fast wireless LAN –still unusual in Germany – is available here everywhere. The town of Farchant is very conveniently located and not overly touristy like Oberammergau or Garmisch. The best feature of the hotel however is the genuinely friendly owner Herr Fichtl and assistant Manuela who do everything to make you stay an absolute dream! These hardworking hosts constantly make sure everything is tiptop and far, far beyond expectations. One warning: the hotel serves rich home-made fresh German cake delicacies every day to guests, so if you are on a diet, this is the wrong place for you.

We, a Couple from Munich (24 and 26) wanted to make the hike a try. Have us with the High Fricken unfortunately, totally overrated. After 10 hours of Hiking, we came abens at the Hotel. You had been Worried about us and offered that we still have coffee and eat cake, though there were already eight o'clock abens was. The cakes are incredibly delicious. Here I have one of the best Apple pie meinse life eaten. The staff was incredibly friendly and nice, the room was contemporary and renovated and furnished, Wi-Fi was free of charge. For us, a real blessing after the exhausting walk in this perfect Hotel.

We arrived late, but it was the cake buffet (extremely tasty) for us to stand still, you could even sit outside. We had a lovely double room, romantic-alpenkitschig, with Zugspitzblick. The host and the service were incredibly nice and helpful, the atmosphere is familial. The Breakfast was rich and very good, a lot of homemade. Unfortunately, we had the next day already gone, a British couple, at the same time as we arrived and as we are passing by, extended, spontaneously stay. We would prefer to also made.

Super Hotel. Very friendly nice operator, friendly staff, daily room service, very well kept property, very clean, tidy and tastefully decorated rooms. The Hotel is very quiet. In the immediate Right are a variety of Restaurants. Parking is no Problem. Coffee and cakes every day inclusive. Talk about mountain Biking and sports cars as well. Here we go again.
