We stayed here for a night on our way back home North. We had a nice modern room with corresponding amenities. The remainder of the hotel is more "old fashioned" or traditional. Had dinner on the terrace overlooking the Tauber valley. Local specialties. Family also makes its own "spirits". Worth a try! Price of the room is on the high side for our opinion. But proximity to Rothenburg ob der Tauber is probably the culprit…

Prices by and large all right only that I had to pay the full price at my dish even though it did not contain sauce because lactose intolerance was not okay. We entered the restaurant at 12:00 and left at 13:30. We also had to wait 1 hr for our meal (12:10 ordered and served at 13:10). A rice cooks itself in 20 min that you can not blame me "we had to cook extra rice" or was it due to the chanterelles? The coffee ordered at 13:10 came only after a 1/4 hrs no so we will not come back. But the view from the terrace is very nice provided you have a lot of time. Well you are here in the country there it is more comfortable, but the service still has to be worked hard. The answer from the owner is indisputable, as other guests have just waited so long for their food. It's clear that they need to be cooked beforehand — but as it's said again and again today, multitasking. I would have been open to an alternative dish, but I wasn't offered it at all. You also have to be able to tolerate criticism and not always blame the guest, as in another case.

Unfriendly service with little sense of hospitality. After all, a nice view towards Rothenburg.

The décor of the restaurant is not appealing. We had to wait a very long time to serve the food. The prices are very high and too high. For a plate of a serving of champingons, three small frozen potato talers and some vein cream sauce, we had to pay 12, 80 — Maggi tastes better. The crust of the meat of the other plate was too dry, gravy was hardly there. The sauerkraut tastes less fresh than from the tin. However, I do not want to blame the restaurant on the fact that I chose a wine that was also more watery than dry.

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way home from ski-vacation. We arrived late, but the host was ready to prepare a very nice dinner in the restaurant for the 3 of us. And the breakfast next morning was excellent too. The room was clean and comfortable with space enough for all 3. And the location is good — close to the autobahn and with nice views to the castle and the countryside.

Top hotel, very good room, gite and central location. Very friendly hosts. The kitchen is exceptionally good. All in all highly recommended. We'll be back.

I can't speak about the hotel but I can say the restaurant is very nice! The food is great and the wine selection is good enough to evade from the terrible local wines! However, it's not cheap and the owner is extremely rude.

Fantastic hotel with a very nice host.

Very tasty as I would in any case come back that was the truth, lately there and you can not really complain, the staff was also very friendly.

On our way to Essen, we discovered the Flair-Hotel Die Post — what a lucky find!
From the warm greeting and spacious rooms, the hospitality from the Leiblein family was extremely charming and friendly. They quickly tended to our needs, and the food selection (prepared just for us late at night! ) was exquisite. Very refreshing to have our hosts speak to us in English and French! According to their lovely daughter, we must go back to experience the Romantic Road Coach, sounds like a good reason to me!

We were traveling on a Bus and are at noon, has returned. The Bus went to the menu to and the food (Seniorenteller) was phone ordered in advance. Waiting time in the Restaurant anyway 1 hour. The food was terrible. For example, Sauerbraten: 1 small thin slice of meat to a maximum of 80 g, Meat was warmed up, hard and tough as leather, without sauce, only with etwass vinegar poured over. A small mini dumplings and a handful of green ungewürzte beans for the price of € 9, 80 is a Cheek. All the other dishes were partially inedible. For 1 Glass Of Apfelscholle € 3, 20 demand is outrageous. I and the Rest of the Bus are of the opinion: 1 x and not again.

Super tasty food with great views!

For the Central location of the hotel, it is in the night surprisingly quiet. The rooms are well-furnished and the Housekeeping was able to score with us. An absolute Plus is the Restaurant, because here, with ingredients from the Region cooked and thus suitable for the season. The traditional house has a special charm and still looks not old-fashioned.
