Sweet Hotel in the middle of Kochel. Friendly staff. Great Breakfast. Definitely come Back.

3 hrs stars are not justified! The staff were very friendly and helpful. But it was also with the amenities. In the bathroom there is no soap at the sink, so no noble shower faucet can do the thing. In the hallway below lies building material (laminate), although not in the way but in the view. Breakfast only from 08:00 pm, a very small buffet 3 slices of salami, 2 other kinds of meat/ham, 2 small coarse liver sausage slices halved again, 2 kinds of sliced cheese and camembert (for several people). A large muesli corner as well as jam some fruit as well as small shells quark yogurt. However, the rolls were freshly baked and served per table. Rüherei fried egg or cooked on query. Coffee not in Thermos, but it was also repaid. No gastro at the hotel in the evening, although in house prospectus and internet evening bread is offered. The control of the heating in the room is about 2, 05 meters height, this can only be served by very large people. The heating in the bathroom was without function.

There is absolutely nothing negative to write … very nice service, family and yet not like at home, so much so that relax to us very easily … all questions were answered to us with a lot of love and cordiality. We can recommend this beautiful hotel with the best of conscience.

We were impressed by the beautifully renovated rooms, the loving attention to detail and the quiet location. The owners, family, Gerg, have supported us both in the preparation of a small family firm in Kochel, as well as during the stay of our family in October 2016, at any time, particularly friendly and accommodating. This hotel is great. The family were very welcoming and hospitable; indeed, they make the difference. It's not far to walchensee, garmish, mittenwald and others. There's good restaurants here and the lake is nice too. An authentic German experience and we'd come back.

I can only recommend the hotel. Very comfortable, clean and ideally located for excursions. No wishes stay open here.

Kochel is a gem and it is also the country hotel Herzogstand. During the journey, one can hardly believe the Idyll of the blue country with the mountains and the rivers. Landhotel Herzogstand, which is for 3 generations in the same family is the ideal place, to make it perfect the Idyll. You gotta love the family: Daniela Gerg looks as good soul always right and you have to think only one wish, she meets him promptly. The father of Felix Gerg senior ensures Bavarian originality, loveable, humorous and pleasantly reticent he is responsible not only for great food, but also for the fun. The family holds together and ensures a good feel flair in Bavaria, which you would have to search long with their employees, friends, and acquaintances.
By the way: The rooms are all traditionally furnished, without compromising on the comfort of modern times. For every need there is something, luxurious bathrooms and Wi-Fi must not be omitted.
