For me to enjoy the Hotel for my summer holiday. The location is perfect street without drive-through. Very nice staff. Breakfast at its Finest. Delicious food in the Fassl. Pleasant it is possible to Park the car in an underground garage. Come with warranty again this year.

Steer clear of this hotel! I flew all the way from Wisconsin to see this incredibly beautiful town, which it is indeed. I booked my reservation a solid 4 months before I arrived. I paid the extra money for a room with a larger bed (well, 2 twins pushed together). When I arrived, I was placed in a room on the ground floor facing the rear parking lot… Not much of a view but whatever. I ate dinner and went off to bed only to be woken at 5am by a few construction workers idling their diesel truck right outside my window dumping and throwing old bricks and chunks of concrete in the back! So I shut the window, a couple hours later I woke up in a puddle of sweat and started looking around the room when I discover that there is absolutely no way to cool or even circulate the air in that room. This hotel should not even be allowed to book room 55. One star for the breakfast, breakfast is really great.

Here it is very nice, nice staff, the food is very tasty and priced in the frame.
Rooms are furnished by default.
Rooms directly on the terrace are not so dolle for guests who want peace but from 21/22 o'clock it is quiet. With the guest card you can save a lot, e. G. Bus trips or admissions.
The bus stop is nearby and you can quickly reach all destinations, also DM, Lidl and banks are nearby.

Very friendly staff, dogs allowed. In the restaurant "Zum Fassl, " the dog is even allowed in. Very good food in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet very varied. Clean rooms and magnificent views from the terrace.

Nice hotel. Even if you do not know German, do not be afraid to find the Russian speaking and you all explain at the reception. Breakfast is something. Vechkrnij bar that works with 18:00 something. The room was clean and the food was excellent. This hotel is for relaxation and reloading. Great hotel. Recommend.

Great hotel with very charming and helpful staff. From the reception to the service to the room, everyone is concerned about the well-being of the guest.
It is strikingly clean and well maintained throughout the hotel. The décor of the rooms may have been a bit over the years but does not seem to be used but very well maintained and very clean. Wireless Internet is also available everywhere and offers a good speed.
Parking lots are also available, partly covered.
We can recommend this hotel very much.

Very, very nice staff, nice cozy rooms with everything you need, quite good food and perks for attractions in perimeter. The room service was also very good. Especially the New Year's Eve was a highlight: nice decoration, good food, good program, great atmosphere.

Nice manageable hotel with 4 stars, extremely friendly staff and a very good kitchen. Every day there are very well prepared fish, fresh from the North Sea, which is unparalleled in the north. No wonder, the chef is the son of a northern German mother, who settled in Berchtesgaden and runs this hotel with Neveau.

The first thing that struck us about this hotel was how incredibly open and welcoming the ladies at the front desk were—they really made us feel excited about our stay and that we were well taken care of! Breakfast was jaw-dropping (even by German hotel standards, not just deprived American ones) and the people working the breakfast provided excellent service. The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be well-connected to the old town and transportation hubs, plus they have a gorgeous view of the mountains. Their sauna/steam room area is also a must after a long day of hiking!

My favorite hotel in Berchtesgaden! My single room was huge and very clean and comfortable! The free breakfast was fantastic as well! I found myself looking forward to it every night. At first I had only booked a room for one night but the place was so great I asked if I could stay another two nights (which wasn't a problem). The restaurant was great and the outdoor seating on their patio was as well! The view was phenomenal! Absolutely wonderful! I tried their cream of mushroom soup and for 3.5 euros it was a STEAL! It was filled with morel and chanterelle mushrooms (which happen to be my two favorite mushrooms)! Try it! If you like mushrooms you will NOT be disappointed! I would absolutely stay here again and do hope to do so again in the near future!

I usually review places within 12 hours of experiencing meals and sleep. However I held off on this as I could not make up my mind. Firstly, the staff are great (in certain areas like reception) and having travelled alot around Germany, I know that Germans can, at first, appear cold. However, the staff at breakfast were quite rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Secondly, the bed is very clean and comfortable. The duvets are not very wide tho, so my feet stuck out more than I'd like. The BIGGEST problem is the construction noise. It started at 7am and went through all day. Having first been woke up at 6am by the garbage truck. I'd love to have slept with the windows closed, but the room was too warm. End result, a poor night's sleep. The restaurant is very decadent and the food very good. I can recommend this. Not cheap, but good, large meals. Breakfast is a limited affair, but enough to satisfy. However, there's an unclear policy on seating. I. E do you seat or be seated. We eventually believe you just find your own table as the staff are too busy to greet you at the door.

The best food I've ever had! Burger and steaks are delicious. Small burger with 400g roastbeef — 11, 90€?! Prices are more the best! Personal is professional and friendly! Recommend you to visit this restaurant and hotel!

I spent a 7-day holiday here. The room was really nice, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was abundantly covered. The staff was very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Great place to stay, be sure to ask for a room on an upper floor with a view of the mountains. We arrived too late in the day. Breakfast is included we ate both dinners here and the food was wonderful. They will give you a guest card that gives you free bus travel and discounts to the attractions. Just up hill from the train and bus station.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy! The restaurant of the hotel is a bit more upscale. It also includes a more rustic restaurant with the hotel. The food is identical and really delicious! Also the breakfast has earned 100 points!

A wonderful place to stay in Berchtesgaden. Nice rooms, great breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. When we return to Berchtesgaden, Alpenhotel Kronprinz will be our first-choice for accommodations. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

The hotel in and of itself is great. Not too modern, not outmoded. Location is where it kills. A 5 minute walk to the downtown area. Oh, and the view. Can't beat it. Price was right too. Would come back anytime.

A great location, best in Berchtesgaden I think. Views are amazing. It's a quiet location but close to everything. The staff are lovely and very friendly, nothing is to much trouble. It's very clean and comfortable. The meals in their restaurant are very good and reasonable abd the atmosphere very relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return again soon.

We visited in October, on our trip to see the Eagles nest, we stayed at this hotel. The hotel has an amazing atmosphere, good view, perfect location — quiet and relaxing but not far from the city. Loved the food in the nice little bar downstairs in the hotel, and the staff all over the hotel is very helpful and nice The breakfast was perfect, with lots to choose from, good taste and very competent staff serving.

Thanks for a great one week stay … we will be back! (2016) Adding to this review: Nov 2017 … 2nd stay at the hotel … everything great … BUT if you need internet this is not the place. Wi-fi was off for the entire stay and there was no urgency to have it restored — our son stayed longer and it was a week before it was back on. I needed it for work purposes so it caused a problem. I did ask for a partial refund to cover putting the data on my US cellphone for the two days and they refused saying it was "not their fault" … The owner stayed in the office rather than come out and face the guest complaints at the front desk as well. The hotel had internet on their own computers — just not Wi-Fi so I think it must have been an internal situation and not from the provider. We will not return.

Very good reception, very clean! A little out of town, so very quiet and all the shops are accessible in a few minutes by foot!

We have a weekend in the Alpenhotel Kronprinz spent. The food and the Service were excellent. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and have a pleasant size. The Hotel has a beautiful terrace and is in a quiet area. We will definitely in the near future again a few days in this Hotel spend.

We have the family for a memorable active holiday. Very good food, great Service and the very spacious rooms have pleased us very well. We'll be back for sure. P. S. The Fasselburger you have to at least have tried. Many Thanks To The Hansen Family! :-).
