Very awesome place, pet friendly and very clean rooms, polute amd good services.

Bed and bathroom were alright, friendly people, but Wifi didn't work and breakfast wasn't very impressive. But then again, it only costs 5 euro p. P.

Simple hotel in a quiet location. The centre of Passau is only about 10 minutes' drive away. Parking at the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. On my last stay I had a single room with balcony in the main house. Very large and the balcony with far-sightedness. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and inexpensive. Hope to have the same experiences again on my next visit. Now, on 21.07.2018 I am here for the second time here at the Hotel Burgwald. On this visit, it loses 3, of the 5-stars rated on the first visit. Room (10) is not possible at all. Mini bathroom and not a table or a closet in the room. Dinner (Schnitzel Wiener Art with fries) totally salt and fries dead. Unfortunately, unfortunately. Once well, the total fall. So better avoid this hotel. There are certainly better hotels in the Passau area. In addition, the prices are from the menu that hangs at the entrance different to the menu that is served at the table. Don't go! 3-star clout at the entrance 2017 expired.

Very nice and friendly welcome, which leaves a great impression. The room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom with walk-in shower and clean. Wi-Fi free and fast. You feel very comfortable here. Clear recommendation to stay overnight or to eat the really tasty dishes, which are served very friendly without long waiting times. This is where it can be endured.

Rooms are very cozy, very comfortable and are being cleaned every day, also you can place a corresponding sign to request an extra cleaning while you are not home. Location is little bit far from the centre, but the outstanding transportation systems makes it bearable. Breakfast is not included in the price, but I have tried it couple of times and I can say that it's very delicious. The nearest supermarket Edeka is in 6-7 minutes walk from the hotel.

Good food, nice staff, small beer garden and reasonable prices. What more could you want? Rooms are a bit old.

Super Good food, breakfast the bare necessities, coffee anything but good. Comfort Room friendly and welcoming acting. Bed large and clean. Mattress okay. Large TV with little programs, parquet. But the bathroom: Flushing box runs continuously, as the water not only runs in the cistern, but also in the toilet, anchorage of the cistern very shaky, toilet paper holder also shaky. Window sill in the bathroom with dead insects, in March!
The food in the restaurant very good. But in the next room loud brawl. The landlord intervenes late. For us Restsurantgäste a very ugly situation.
It is worth mentioning that the staff is very friendly.

Reasonable price, typical Bavarian food quality in a very nice atmosphere. The hotel is very familiar and the situation in Grubweg is not ideal if you don't have a car, but it is close to the city. I personally would recommend it for couples and families.

A one night stay. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Couldn't find a lift anywhere so carrying luggage up and down 2 floors kept me fit lol The hotel is a little way out of Passau by car but is in pleasant countryside. Car park was full when we arrived, but that was due to one part being closed because a tree was being cut down. In the restaurant the food was good and a varied menu.

It's just a glorified ski lodge and the beds in the twin rooms are arranged accordingly, in opposite corners.
The food was decent.
I didn't get there until evening but the bar closes at 22.30 and the beer was warm, very warm.
There are plastic, incontinence sheets on the bed, which I didn't realize until I woke up in the middle of the night, in pain, and with nasty welts on my body from the creases.

Small hotel away from the city, very quiet, well kept, beautiful view from the rooms, attentive employees, excellent cuisine with local dishes, very hearty breakfast, very competitive rates, ideal for travelers.

A cozy place to stay overnight. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Service is 1a. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was abundant and everything fresh. The room was very clean. The furniture was good as new. The bathroom was also clean only had some retro style. All in all the price reasonable. The restaurant is highly recommended. Good selection of Bavarian and Austrian cuisine — was very tasty. Also here a high praise of the service and the chef.

We got here early in the a. M. And the lady at the reception was very friendly, helpful and offered us to keep our luggage if we wanted to go to town. We were treated like friends and she made sure our room was done asap.

Super nice beer garden, price, performance parts, cozy atmosphere and great location.
