This is a 3 star hotel so keep your expectations low. This is quite a mixed review. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I don't speak any German but they were very patient and polite with us. We showed up 2 hours later than preferred by the hotel but was still treated well. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke on the second floor but the rooms did not. However, the bathroom towels do smell like cigarettes. Our room had 3 large ants and a spider. The beds are really stiff which actually worked out because we all felt great in the morning. I've stayed in many hotels and would rate this a 2 for price and quality, I give it more stars for location and staff (front desk and kitchen) accommodations.

Very nice staff and great food! I only visited the restaurant, but it made a very good impression if the rooms were the same: top! The only small minus point is the huge guest room, but that's a matter of taste!

Some of the garden at the 'Linderhof'King Ludwig's "getaway". Inside is breathtaking. The gardens are superb. Coach is the best travel. Makes you want to return for another visit.

Too bad for the pictures that you can't do inside.

It was ok. There was some construction that limited some things but what do you do? Stuff has to be maintained and upgraded.

Very nice Hotel. Large and spacious rooms. Ideal for family and for those who love. The mountain.

We had dinner here with relatives. Great authentic meal! We recommend the pork shoulder and knodel!

Good soup and great apple studel.

Another place where king Ludwig II was famous for building. Modeled after Frances palace. I was amazed at the lake view.

The Schlosshotel Linderhof is situated in a quite secluded location at the castle Linderhof and thus offers a lot of peace, especially when the tourist stream is a little fizzled. The food was delicious and worked lovingly prepared. Prices cannot be complained about in relation to price/performance, although there are of course always cheaper offers. Whether these are qualitatively but also equivalent, may be doubted.

Beautiful castle and grounds. The tour of the castle was amazing and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Were for dinner here, Schnitzel Viennese art. Costs about 15 euros, looks like TK and tastes like that. Too bad, actually a nice Resataurant will probably not come back.

Friendly staff. Great food. The building itself is amazing. I didn't stay here but I did eat at the restaurant. Recommended if you have the time while visiting Linderhof.

Nice terrace with great view of the castle. Drinks were good and reasonable priced.

Perfect location although it was kind of difficult to get there.

I want to have a nice lunch but they throw me out from the service to self service table. I offered to throw my drink but I still can't get service because the way I look?. It is shame, I really want to test the food. One hour waiting, still no service!

I have not tried it personally but they said well.

Highly recommend a visit, given the amazing scenery in the area — you can't go wrong.

Family Hotel. It was a very nice hotel and it was very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast Kind and helpful holders.

A castle in the Bavarian region of Germany of a formidable attractive ability for lovers of pedestrian or bike rides. There is a very strong network of paths and tracks that are passable to envy a spider's web.

Small castle but very nice, well maintained and organized. To see also park and other scattered facilities.

The location is beautiful, but very far from civilization. Close to the hotel.

Near the hotel is a very beautiful castle, and it differs from the others in that it was used to have the first elevator system to lift the dining table from the kitchen to the dining room. The chefs cooked the food at the bottom, and then podymali served the table up the hall.
The hotel is clean, well groomed, but there are few people in winter. I was here with my family in the winter and it was very cold:)

One of my favorite castles. Very beautifully landscaped Park. Can be overcrowded in summer.

What a pomp. A small castle located in Countryside. Incredibly beautiful.

Beautiful Park with castle. The entrance fee is worth it. The tour through the castle and through the artificial cave was very interesting and well managed. Also, a lot of space to walk.

There are many castles of the Bavarian king, but Linderhof is the most Beautiful (! ) that even beats the much gepriesende Neuschwanstein lengths. It impresses with its small, beautiful grounds, and the fairy-tale world in the castle itself. It is just gorgeous and you can recommend it only to see first. Then the other locks, such as Herrenchiemsee and Neuschwanstein. So, one also has a much more realistic perspective and Neuschwanstein remains to beaten lengths!

I came here during a time of much snow, it was very beautiful. It is near the Linderhof palace, has some shops nearby with funny hats and food if I remeber correctly. On the way to Linderhof there was even some menacing swans in the way too XD.

I was expecting bigger but anyway beautiful.

Came here after dinner and 3 stars hotel in the Park to 7:00 pm. The Castle, the Park and the surrounding landscape is very good! Delight! Do not pass by!

October 15, 2013, we arrived in Linderhof.
From behind the trees opened a small space where is the graceful white stone Palace and in front of him a small parterre with a fountain, a possible us Samson in Peterhof, but smaller.
The whole complex of us seem less than described by witnesses or shoot on film by eyewitnesses. But the surrounding Palace landscape — majestic mountains with open makuškami and just below the sand forest, and the Palace itself is
"Pearl of the Alps. You can admire this masterpiece
lost in the mountains. Made a lot of photos, sat, resting in the shade
trees, and have gone further.

The castle of a small, but very beautiful. The Park is where to walk and see. The Grotto is not very much, probably in comparison to these caves. Include only the fountain for a while, but every hour. There were three of us, and because we also Russian-speaking at the time was no more, tour conducted individually for us without any additional charges. Parking (free).
