Unfortunately, prices or filling quantities like a pharmacy.

All in all, it is a quiet, romantic and beautiful hotel. There were absolutely no complaints. Also the breakfast buffet is really delicious. We will be back.

The arrival was already very disappointing, because spontaneously there was no room for a cozy dinner in the restaurant and on the terrace. Priority was given to 2 wedding parties. Even when we returned to the hotel in the evening, we were told that there was no bar available for us and we also had no access to the terrace. So enjoy nothing with a cozy evening, with a good glass of wine with a view of Würzburg. Very unfortunate…
In addition, in the room the carpet runners were not secured in front of the beds and when I stepped on it with my foot, the carpet slipped away and I fell.
Overall, we were not satisfied and cannot recommend the 4 star Schlosshotel Steinburg.

We were the first Time to eat at the stone castle and it was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is super delicious (an Aperitif and greeting from the kitchen, Amuse-geuille, Appetizer, main dish) was beautifully done, both for the eye as for the palate is a delight!

It was wonderful! Happy to return!

The rooms in the old part are unfortunately not air-conditioned, but have their own rustic charm.

What a beautiful place! We were offered a tour through work and dinner at the magnificent terrace. The views and the vineyards are amazing, definitely worth taking a tour (even without a guide). The service was great and the food looked wonderful and was good but it wasn't anything particularly special. Definitely try their own wine when here. Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, make a stop here at the restaurant. It is pricey but not unpayable.

We booked this wonderful castle hotel together with our two children over the weekend. Our expectations were completely surpassed by the very friendly and courteous service. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the view is amazing!
After our Statdbummel we have the evening in the wellness area to finish. Sauna and swimming pool were not huge but absolutely sufficient to recover. At first we were somewhat deterred by the prices in the restaurant, but after we decided to eat at the hotel we can confirm that the prices are valid.
It was excellent, quite great food!
Lovingly done, tastefully class!
We did not regret the decision.
Even at breakfast we were very pampered, even the kids got all their wishes fulfilled.
In summary, we can recommend this hotel to 100%, whether as a wellness or a family holiday!
Will keep us in good memory for a long time.

Der Service und das essen waren Spitze. Das Ambiente des speiseraums ist wirklich umwerfend. Leider etwas wenig platz zum essen gehabt.

Even if I have never stayed at the Steinburg, but always "only" to eat or to have a drink there, I can just say — terrific. Excellent food, great drinks, warm service and the view — awesome!

The hotel is an absolute eye-catcher for Würzburg. Well suited for meetings. The rooms in the older area are somewhat special (in terms of choice of the choices), but in my eyes very pretty. But the icing on the cake is the beautiful view of Würzburg.

A fantastic hotel. Everything was wonderful from the reception to the checkout. The rooms are nicely decorated. The restaurant only recommended. We felt very comfortable.

Castle hotel that gives you the option of original castle rooms or modern contemporary rooms in a new building opened in 2012. Wonderful service and amazing views over Würzburg. We opted for the modern rooms which were an okay size with a lovely fit out. Nice to place to say which is about a 10min drive to the township of Würzburg.

A true 5 star hotel all the small touches room, staff, view, dinner, breakfast and the coffee have been before and will be back, It is a casle and they have done a super job in preserving the old and offering top today standards.

The room is small but cozy. It got everything (even with sleepers). The restaurant at the hotel opens late. I finished my dinner around 10. The food was great. Driving here late night is challenging.

In my view rip off… The star gives the quality of the food as well as the service of the waitress (who has a lot of friendliness ahead of their superiors). We had reserved for a breakfast, this was also confirmed to US 2-fold, but were unwittingly charged for brunch which had to be billed and paid for — > Price doubling, which for us was not apparent and because of which we feel pulled over the table. The boss put to speech this only hackneyed sayings that his behavior mmn. Non-community. An apology or comprehensible justification of it's false indication. My advice to potential guests: Pay close attention to what you order and ultimately get, because in the Steinburg you can be expensive, we became one. The word in the mouth round. I think there is also service as well as the ambiance (and priced anyway) much better localities in Würzburg.

After shopping in Würzburg a nice coffee with good cake in the castle of Steinburg… but such a tablecloth then spoiled everything: — (on the note to the operation that the stains are not from us, she merely said: "We still have enough tablecloths"

A very lovely and romantic hotel with an absolutely fabulous service and nice rooms. The view from the hill is stunning. It's nice to have a car, when you go there, otherwise you have to walk down/up the vineyards—which takes roughly 45 Minutes plus the time till you are in the old city center.

A memorable visit… During the coffee drink, fire alarm was triggered. Even after 20 minutes the alarm went on, but neither was there anything from the fire to see/smell, nor was the building evacuated, as it should have been. The employees seemed overwhelmed and ignorant. Are there no regular fire prevention exercises here? It was only after more than 30 minutes of alarm that it was asked carefully whether the guests might leave the building. But then there was also an offer of the fire brigade and Rescue service. What exactly happened, eluded our knowledge, but a professional handling of fire alarm looks significantly different.
Before the fire alarm: The room is nice, the view is really nice. After a long walk in the vineyards an ideal place to stop. The offered cakes and coffee were not bad, but also nothing special. We felt the service was blown up.

Very nice view from the Hotel over Würzburg. Parking space for free. Quite away from the center of the city. Great service. Food could be a little bit better for the price they request.

Great historical location with a modern extension. I used up to now, the beautiful terrace in the summer and the conference rooms regularly at various events.

Our stay at the castle hotel is very positive to evaluated. The staff at the reception are very friendly. The hotel rooms have been praised modern and of the group as a whole in the highest tones. In the evening we had a very funny and absolutely delicious cooking class with the chef and his colleagues. Here, too, the staff was extremely friendly and service oriented. Our meeting eat professionally prepared. Our short-term changes of the schedule have been implemented by the team of the events Department without any problems. The buffet lunch is absolutely sufficient. Only criticism here… the choice of about half of the dishes was identical to the previous day. Still very tasty. How take this hotel in the shortlist for the future organisation of events.

We came to this hotel for a friends wedding and the experience was first class throughout. The hotel went above and beyond at every turn to make our stay very special. I would strongly recommend staying here. My only regret is not staying longer.

Yesterday we were at Dinner and our expectations were more than fulfilled. The food a dream, the work staff is courteous and attentive without being Intrusive. I am from the hospitality and as it is more demanding but there was nothing to complain about. We come back because we absolutely have to. The Bar test but after the horse-drawn carriage ride through the beautiful wine mountains in the full moon time was not enough unfortunately Many thanks to the very, very nice service and the great kitchen!

We had the weekend "Wine and the City" booked and stayed in the "SANCTUARY" (place where one finds peace? ) housed. Rooms and Service were ok, food was good, but in the night from Saturday to Sunday took place in the rooms of the SANCTUARY a wedding with Lifeband instead, and this is played up early at 4 am! Calls to the front Desk we were told that a wedding was and it would do them sorry that we can't sleep. When checking out, we were then (as compensation) 2 x Breakfast gutgechrieben and there was also a bottle of sparkling wine. Apart from the fact that the location of the hotel, although beautiful views, on the other hand, but any ride with the taxi in the city 20 € costs was also the so-called "Spa area" just across the street, as in a different building. A Luxuswochenden for about 600 €, I imagine it differently, we are certainly no longer in the stone castle book.

Excellent location in a charming winery castle-style construction with a very sober and high standard service. We enjoyed the pool, the food and the nice surroundings. Highly recommended.

For Christmas a voucher for a love dinner of our children got, everything was nice and well, but in the end we had to pay excessively high prices for the drinks also receive a supplement of EUR 8, just like a price premium! Our children were disappointed that your coupon was practically worthless at the end!

Excellent restaurant, our hotel room was breakfast quite OK, but excellent. The service was very good in the evening in the restaurant and also in the hotel and very friendly.

This castle hotel, we had 3 very nice days. Very young, upbeat and attentive staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Our breakfast and dinner were very good. Always there is something to the suspend type. In a castle which was converted into a hotel, there are details that to implement is not so easy in the pampered world of luxury. I can not share the negative reports. Perhaps it is also often the guest himself.
