We enjoyed the — unfortunately far too short — stay in the Maritim very much. Great room, clean and with many thoughtful little things, pleasant ambience. The hotel is very central and yet quiet. We are happy to come back.

My least favorite hotel in the world. I had a meeting with a big German concert promoter yesterday and he booked it — so I did not want to raise an issue. Other than that, everything is a problem here — and I do not mean a corona issue. A double room was booked for me and my wife — and we received two separate beds in an otherwise less than an acceptable room — even the toilet flush is broken. I tried to sit in a restaurant and have some coffee while doing my emails. I have to pay them one by one — as I refused to book the breakfast buffet (that does not exist). Can't wait to leave. PS: had to see the public bathroom — remember: my flush did not work. Filthy. Lights broke — possibly on purpose that one does not see … where's the point to disinfect everything down to the menu — when the public toilet is a mess.

How can it be that we are not allowed to rebook or cancel our booked stay at a time when private travel is officially prohibited (Corona exit restrictions)?
And then there are the very rude staff on the phone. Of course, we did not arrive, but we do not get any rebooking or money back. Naughty. Other hotels and hotel chains handle this customer-oriented (he).

Construction right on the whole 3rd floor going on which is very loud! Starts at 8AM till 6PM. They don't tell you that when you book. It may be a good hotel probably a 4 star but I wouldn't stay there right now if you plan on sleeping past 8AM. I'd give it a 1 star right now for the fact they don't tell you there's loud construction in the hotel. Even the front desk guy said to me once I moved rooms that he couldn't sleep there either.

The Maritim is placed near the Main. We stay the for a buffet dinning. It's was very nice dining area. The places are all set. There were vary spaces the get the dishes. Various different meals are prepared. I can't tasted all, but what I take was very delicious.

Hotel is very central ly and you can easily explore Würzburg on foot. Paid underground parking is available directly at the hotel. Rooms are a bit older, but there is a lot of renovation at the moment — which you hear. Our room unfortunately not yet. It was also a pity that we got a smoking room (of which there are still about 15 in the hotel). At our request, however, it was exchanged at the reception. Room rates for accommodation without breakfast in old room we found not justified.

It's a decent hotel, amazing location! Location is what makes it! Breakfast is WAY over priced, but the pool is AWESOME! We were only there 2 nights (were there to pick up our brand new Beamer). For the price the rooms aren't bad and again, location! Our room was a decent size, Wurzberg is awesome! Super cool town, BMW headquarters!

Nice place to stay on. The center is only 3 min walk. And on the other said nice and wide river. Friendly stuff. Welcoming very well. Thanks for them. Our booking was without breakfast, so we go cafe but most of them open after 8 am and the breakfast on the hotel is €20 per person. The hotel is old design but is very good everything is work and nice but there is a dust smell. We enjoy our stay nice and quiet city. Car park is only €8 per day.

Nice hotel, except for the beds. They were a single disaster. Food and cuisine very good.

Clean rooms, very extensive breakfasts and just a 10-minute walk from Central Station. Highly recommended if you want to stay in Würzburg.
But what you should know: The air conditioner will probably not be switched on until May. We were there in April and had 28 degrees, so it wasn't very pleasant in the rooms.

Great place. Nice people… Excellent food.

Unprofessional staff at reception. Rooms were hot. Breakfast is overpriced. You have to pay to use the pool, exercise room, etc. Wifi is horribly slow. The pros: location was convenient and wait staff at breakfast were very responsive. My organization will not stay here again. I guess with limited places to stay — you don't have to care about being polite to your patrons.

It has everything to be a full and enjoyable city hotel. The stay was great. With restaurants and party clubs very close by walking. Squared it was Easter and they left us a lovely detail at the door in the morning. The breakfast was very nice. Repeat.

Location of hotel is perfect for spending time in the city. Rooms are a nice size with all necessary amenities and the batgroom was spacious with great lighting and mirrors. The rest of the hotel was very clean and decor was very nice. Staff were very friendly, and the bar in the lobby did great cocktails. Only issue was that the room was quite warm even with the air con on and our room looked out onto the road so it was noisy with the window open. Will happily use this hotel again.

Perfect! Excellent way to spend the time waiting for our new BMW! The Ambiance, our room from the balcony over looking the Main River! Listening to the night atmosphere… waking up to enjoy a beautiful and a tasteful breakfast buffet! Underground parking and a staff that’s very friendly!

A very well equipped hotel for official funktions. The 'Panorama Room' in the Conference Center is fabulous, with a great view. Staff is good, too. The Conference Center was completely renovated and opened again just recently — and it shows!

Clean rooms. The dark flair of the rooms is known for the Maritim. Service very good. Breakfast no blemish. The lunch buffet was versatile and tasty. Kitchen very recommended. Drinks at the bar slightly overpriced.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of the city centre. There are plenty of parking spaces in the garage. Congress Centre is directly connected, from which the hotel is also certainly alive. The rooms are OK, breakfast and dinner are really good, but the house has certainly seen better times. It's been a bit of a living. Some floors seem to have been renovated, maybe the hut will shine again.

Awesome Hotel to be. Staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. The Rooms are very clean and the Showers are superior. This is the Hotel of my choice in Würzburg.

Rooms are clean and the hotel is in a good location but the staff are not particularly helpful or friendly and the decor is pretty dated.

I find this place very clean and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I have not been able to gain negative experiences. There is a swimming pool which is free to enter for the guests of the house. A sauna can be used for €5 per person and day. The same goes for the fitness room. If you have any questions, just ask me.

A hotel to feel at home! I had a very nice room with a wonderful view of main and castle. A bed to sleep well and a large swimming pool with a fairly new and beautiful sauna area! It's all shiny. Very polite and friendly hotel staff who made everything possible. Centre with a lot of quaint pubs and clubs in throw. I'll be back!

I had the room 543 and it has not only come in the years but for this price no one reasonable. I felt like I was in a hotel in Mallorca on the ball man 6.
That was just nothing if I had been private here, I would definitely have insisted on a room change. There is also only the 2 star because the bathroom is freshly refurbished, although somewhat cramped but it serves its purpose.

Unfortunately, the hotel has come in the years. Rehabilitation measures are currently being carried out during the current operation. With the resulting Einschrenkungen. In contrast, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen very good. I'd like to award five stars for that.

Were industries with lunch. Everything was very well built and very tasty. Also the staff super nice. For the whole family to the industries simply recommended.

The entire place needs a renovation. No service mentality and poor maintained hotel. Anything extra costs additional money. 5 EURO for the gym with 3 devices in there. 1 hour late check out costs 10euro extra. Ridiculous.

The rooms were super clean, the showers great. The staff was mostly very friendly and the front desk continued to supervise our suitcases after logging out. This was all right and was a pleasant stay in Würzburg.

Well, the hotel has come a little over the years. The furnishing of the rooms is no longer entirely up to the times, which can be quickly recognized by the carpets or even wallpapers. At least the bathroom was renewed with a great spacious shower.
But what the property cannot accomplish by its age makes the house competitive thanks to the excellent service. In the restaurant and at the reception you will always find many helpful people. The stay was a lot of fun.

The whole hotel has been in the years. The tiles in the bathroom testify to the age of the hotel. The staff at the reception was unfortunately very rude. The restaurant is nice. For €20, however, the breakfast is too expensive for the offered.

Good hotel with friendly staff in great location with proximity to city centre and main. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay there again at the next Würzburg visit. Only downside, we found the prices for the breakfast too high, but have solved this with breakfast in the city (I can only recommend it).
For the slight construction noise, which was criticized in other recessions, one should have understanding, because it serves the future comfort and really was very little.
Otherwise, gladly again, on your staff you can be really proud.

Good location A bit old the rooms would be to renovate.

They simply dont cate about the customer, its all about the money. Expedia made a mistake and booked for me a night before to my arrival. The hotel made my pay twice the same room. Will never recommend it.

I stayed with a holiday group as a single traveler in a twin bedded room of good size and suited me fine. Both breakfast and evening meal included, it offered a superb choice for both and was excellently laid out. The staff was both friendly and pleasant. I would stay again. Con. No tea or coffee facility in room.

Hotel old and poorly maintained, toilet not clean, silver fish in the bathroom, service late… really not terrible.

Worn out rooms. Cheap installations. Charges for a new water bottle every day. Not worth the price.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great for travelers. Its is walking distance from the train and shopping center. The breakfast is delicious. There is very few amenities and the hotel is a bit dated.

Hotel placed say in the center of Wurzburg. Just a stone's throw away. Well cared for and with very large rooms. Huge breakfast buffet.

The hotel is good, and I would not say great. The breakfast buffet was fantastic had just about anything anybody could wish for. I have never been in a hotel where in the elevator one push button is for floors 1 & 2. When you get off the elevator you go half a floor down for floor 1 and half of floor up for floor 2? Overall I would give it an average rating.

It was all very good, only the food was a bit dry. The staff was really nice and helpful. A very great hotel.

Unfortunately, the Maritim has exceeded his wedding for 15 years… The Interior is quite old fashioned, the mattresses are fully located through and the room stinks really rancid… For that, the price is absolutely nothing reasonable… What a pity…

We have visited many Maritim Hotels, but we can recommend this hotel! The mattresses are the location, nothing brought also a change of room (extra charge). Vegetarian food was not included despite order upon arrival. For me, there was no breakfast. The rooms are old fashioned furnished and greatly in need of renovation. Small rooms equipped with an ancient mini tube TV. There are two stars for the friendly staff that always strives, Würzburg was… ever maritime!

We were very disappointed, we were on the Baltic Sea in one Maritim Hotel, and it was really beautiful. The Maritim is in Würzburg against a real disappointment. The pool was not heated, and there was no atmosphere at all, you had to pay extra for the sauna, I've never heard something like that because of new regulations. When we booked this hotel, I suppose that no additional fee would be payable. As it also isn't hotels in other spa. But the Spa in this hotel is not good, totally old-bake. Am very disappointed and will never come back and also do not recommend. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff is friendly, the rooms clean.

Gutes Hotel für geschäftliche Aufenthalte. Saubere, gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Fernseher verbesserungswürdig. Würzburg schöner Standort. Schöne Altstadt.

Nice Hotel friendly staff rooms are clean but very outdated have a renovation necessary.

Bad value for money. Paid about 100 Euro for what felt like a five square meter room that was 10 miles away from the elevators/stairs; old tube television rather than flat screen HD device; view to the inner yard — while I was hoping for river view of course ;-) at least the breakfast was pretty good! Location's not too bad either, but don't expect river view unless you pay a more premium rate.

The Sunday brunch is amazing A huge selection — which is also still tastes good! The buffet offers for the eyes and the palate-everything your heart desires. Price — money is simply the best. Those who like to be in a sophisticated ambience with a magnificent view of the fortress wants to eat is right here. Attentive, unobtrusive Service, comfortable volume level and makes you feel just good all round. I like to recommend the Restaurant and what else would I have of the Hotel have seen happy and for future family reunions or any other occasions, we are guaranteed the MARITIM Würzburg to visit again.

The Hotel staff put my wife and me right next to the elevator. So we would have still been kept awake, even if it had not been for a loud bachelor party going on all over the hallway outside our door. What was most disappointing was that the staff seemed completely incapable of telling the guys to go somewhere else to have a loud party. All over that hallway (and we asked others), the supposed a/c simply did not work. The hotel is quite advantageous in terms of being somewhat close to the city center, but this also means that on weekends during the summertime it can be quite loud; i. E. Drunken people singing songs outside your window until 2 a. M. Or so. The only alternative to the noise then was to close the windows (which in the end did not help so much) and then we were hot. After we complained rather pointedly, the staff put us in a much better location, in a room facing the courtyard and with real a/c. The rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was impressive.
