Babelfish Hostel Hostel

Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Just across the central train station and busstation, on a 15 minute walk from the center, which is a lovely walk by the way and various options to get there. I would say the hostel perfectly fits with the atmosphere of the city. Looking forward to connect them to our chain of hostels through Europe.

One of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Great location, fantastic staff, very clean, and a great price. Who could ask for anything more? Also, it’s in a beautiful city, Würzburg is a must see.

Not great room, but to be a hostel can pass with a 6 from last appeal. The cost is disproportionate to the type of accommodation. The bed you have to do. Parking is a disaster. It's a bluff when they say it's available public and on-site. Out of three parking lots one was closed for work, one was open only at night and the third cost us 16 euros.

The hotel is close to the train station and is ideal for towing luggage. It's not far into the Old Town. Rent a room with a dedicated bathroom that can be showered and tired. The bed is soft and hard. Unfortunately, the three nights of the stay were hot and the windows could only be left open at night to sleep with the noise of the station.

Ok no complaints. Wurzburg is a nice city to visit as well.

Went to sleep for a night. The atmosphere was really cool hippie vibe.

Friendly people, very helpful, and cool bar and terrace. Breakfast was good. I had a funky room with art on the walls. Sheets and bathroom were spotless, and the furniture was comfy. I especially loved the big stuffed chair. The hostel is very close to the central station, which is convenient, but that makes it a bit loud (sirens/loud cars). If you need a hostel near the trains and conveniently located, this is the place! One bad thing: I had a problem with the sink (couldn't unplug it after plugging it to wash clothes). Other than that, everything was cool.

The hostel is very well located as close to the train station and the staff are very welcoming. However it is very hot in the summer and the only way to ventilate the rooms is to open the windows which look onto a large avenue very noisy (day or night). In addition, showers are not practical and it is difficult to have hot water continuously.

Location is good, very near the train station, staff are friendly and helpful. Do note though, it is beside a main road outside the train station, so be prepared for loud cars going past.

Sympathetic staff and averagely maintained premises. The common parts are not cared for and checked, on the return from an evening we came across a small group of Chinese bivouacking in the common kitchen and one of them was quietly brushing his teeth in the sink next to the clean table clothes. Obviously we cancelled the breakfast and left.

Helpful staff and happy place. Screechy young students playing fusbol and drinking more that they can handle may put off some people. But they do serve a good breakfast. They also offer a guest's kitchen which is really great news; from my (limited) experience this is not that typical, but almost essential for the long term and budget conscious travellers moving through Germany.

The hostel is very clean and the staff are very sympathetic, helpful and spontaneous. The sun terrace invites you to linger and the large lounge is cosy and offers plenty of space to eat, play and discuss.

The location of the hostel is very convenience, it's just right across the street from the train station. The staffs there are very friendly and nice. The hostel is clean and secure, I would like to recommend this hostel for anyone who will visit Wurzburg!

Were there with a group of 20 people and have spent a night there, service breakfast and cleanliness for the money unbeatable!

My personal Lieblingshostel, right across from the train station and Flixbus. Nice Mosna, kitchen, terrace, plenty of space, good Wi-Fi. Everything you need. Domestic atmosphere, so not exaggerated internationally. Tip: 4-bedded room. Treat!

Cool hostel — All right — had to cancel one of two rooms, which was also possible without any problems.

One of the best hostels in germany. Super awesome & supportive staff going out of the way to help & support. Been like a 2nd home to me! Kitchen, laundry, terrace, daily essentials, wi fi, great location, even better prices, breakfast buffet. Free parking place nearby… everything one can think off is there! Highly recommend!

The hostel is very near to the central station, the hostel staffs are very friendly and kind. I stayed in the 4-beds room locating in a quiet area of the building, and there we have our bathroom and a little bit better beds than other dormitory rooms like 6-beds or 10 beds.

Very good hostel. It is clean, the staff is very friendly and fun. The kitchen is well equipaday the beds are good. Only sometimes it does not work Wi-Fi.

Real Youth hostel feeling, mixed room, cool, Spartan, Nix for everyone, cheap.

Friendly and convenient reception. Location is really good and close to main station. It's also a good place to transfer to any big city and you can save time or budget if you stay with Babelfish hostel. I've been here for 3 times.

I booked the single room and was really surprised how clean and big the room was. The hostel has its very own charm and is affectionate, individual and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was really great and nothing was missing — although it was almost free. There is also a special kitchen at your disposal where you can cook and warm up or cool food, as well as all accessories such as coffee machine, cutlery etc. Can use. If you don't like it, you can also buy drinks, snacks and hot drinks at bar for small prices. You can enjoy everything on a beautiful roof terrace, where you almost forget to be in the middle of Würzburg. The staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful! I would book it again at any time:)

It was a typical hostel. No frills, but clean. Shower drain was plugged up causing a flooded floor. Kids were smoking outside our window on the walkway. Location was convenient near train station.

Right across the street from the main train station. That's especially important if you're towing a big bag as I always am on my trips. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very clean. There are many items to choose from at breakfast, including yogurt and fresh blueberry jam. There is a game night. And if you like meeting people from all over the world, as I do, this is the place for you!

Nice staff, good breakfast for a very reasonable price, clean rooms & bathrooms. I liked that every dorm had its own bathroom and that I could leave my bike in the bicycle room during my stay. Amazing rooftop garden. The only thing I did not like that much but you cannot really blame the hostel for: It is hard to close the doors quietly (and some people not even tried). So I woke up every time someone was leaving or entering my or one of the neighbouring dorms. Otherwise it was quite calm and relaxing while I was there.

We had family gatherings in Würzburg. Hostel was ideal for that. Convenient location. Friendly and helpful

I could not sleep at night because some guests starting screaming, vanishing the door at 3 o'clock. When we decided to open the door for see what happened, that guest came straigthly to us and turned to knock our door. (Fortunately we closed the door before he reached us) That was terrified because we are just two girls. We found that us unsafety and we didn't know what to do because the reception is out of work. We suggested you if your reception works until midnight, at least you should give every single customer to have an emergency number preventing such a threathening incident like this.

Not recommended, impossible staff, greedy and have my opinion the name hostel do not deserve, as friendly or socially — incorrect display.

Clean comfortable rooms. Good prices and very close to station.

No bathroom, no grace of the arrival time, 4 m² for 6 people and still 20€ / person. Rooms must be paid fully in advance. You can not open the window for fresh air, staff looks drunk and drugged used, stickiege and nasty air (where man as said can not air) — there are other points, but it was the einschlagenste.

Nice place. Spacious and very clean rooms. We were on the 4th floor and with the card it was convenient to enter without pass from reception. Great service.

Sweet Hostel with bright and friendly rooms directly at the train station in the centre of Würzburg, but in a very quiet area. The staff was very helpful and we had a super relaxing stay here. Thank you for this accommodation.

What can I say? The location is perfect: is directly opposite the main train station, in the city you can get in 10 minutes. The ambience is very good for a hostel, the staff is exemplary on the guests and questions with help and advice. The rooms are functionally furnished and in very good condition, the self-catering kitchen is well sorted. The breakfast buffet is well sorted and absolutely fair for the price. The edge services (free Wi-Fi, two computer stations, a small library and children's toys in the living room) complete the offer. Not to mention is also the cosy roof terrace, which serves at the same time as a designated smoking area. If it has checked and first obtained his bed, you can forget almost that it is only in a hostel.

There's not much to complain about, Central, very comfortable, nicely decorated and super friendly staff. Only the volume of the road bother a bit, but you must take that in buying, if you'd like to stay as close.

This hostel is amazing. It is so close to the train station and the workers are so nice and accommodating. They have a strong understanding of English and are willing to help you in any way that you need. We ended up having to extend our stay and leave our luggage in a room until we were able to check into our apartment and they were helpful in every way. If you are going to Wuerzburg, this is a MUST GO.

I've stayed at Babelfish a few times now. It has a cool little vibe and the guys that run it are great. Wurzburg has a cool bar scene too. Cheers.
