Very good cuisine, never had a piece of meat that didn't come perfectly from the grill. The barbecue is directly in the dining area, you can watch your food cook.

Good food (steaks and others), very friendly and fast service, prior reservation for 6 guests and 2 Kleink. Was just right. Beautiful outdoor dining. Payment by debit card without any problems. In any case, we will be back.

Finally a steak/grill restaurant that deserves its name too. A manageable map with all kinds of classics we RibEye/filet/T-bone/fish etc. But even seasonal ales like wild or reindeer are there to try. In addition all kinds of enlists and a selection of sauces which are also top of the taste.
I myself had a chef's steak (Bonein RibEye) which was grilled on the open charcoal Grill for me perfectly (medium rare). The grilling process can be observed via a camera on the installed flat-TV, which is a funny gimmicks.
The menu on the chalk tablets also gives a fresh modern impression.

A warm welcome, nice hotel, the staff spoke good English (which made up for my poor German) and excellent food!

Pros: I stayed here for a little over 2 weeks and what a great place to stay! The hotelier Alex has done an amazing job of creating a welcoming environment suitable for travelers on business or holiday. The rooms are quaint and very clean (huge plus for me). There is an amazing restaurant on site with seating options to include inside where you can watch your steaks prepared on a large TV or seated outside on the patio enjoying the ambiance and views. The food is fantastic to say the least. Alex is also the chef and he does a spectacular job creating exciting dishes that not only look great, but taste amazing! Seriously great! Last but certainly not least… the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They knew us by name, which makes me, the guest, feel very welcomed and at home. I applaud the staff for their efforts, especially Alex, Helga, Doris and Angelica. Bravo! Cons: In an effort to offer constructive criticism, the only critique I can give is that although the hotel offers WLAN or Wi-Fi internet, the signal is very poor and worked about 30% of the time during my 2 week stay. Upgrading to a more robust WLAN system would allow travelers from abroad to watch things like Netflix since there isn't many English-speaking TV channels. Just a minor detail… Overall: The Hotel Hollsteiner Hof is an amazing place and by far the best hotel to stay in the area.

Restaurant: nice atmosphere and very good food. Food came quickly, despite the warning, the long waiting times. Friendly, fast staff. A little Highlight is the television with Live Broadcast from the Grill, so it's his food is always in view. Price-performance ratio is right. Reservation is required.
