A wonderful, charming main house, full of well picked details, you feel that it’s a family run business. I loved the terrace on the ceiling. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and with a kind of “feel at home” atmosphere, the breakfast is rich and leaves you with no wish unfulfilled. An absolute recommendation!

This little gem is nestled within a quiet neighborhood in Lorrach. The grounds are well kept and lit in the evening. Staff is courteous and helpful. Take a look inside the wonderful old building. Room was spacious and clean. I would recommend people to stay here.

The Villa Elben has a very special charm and I find it is a unique hotel where I always like to stay.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, something for everyone. The rooms are all very nice and modern furnished, the location of the hotel is quiet and still close to the train station and center.

Beautiful structure and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are cleaned and tided, even though mine was a bit cold probably because I was in the corner room. The surrounding environment is quite and green.

Very friendly welcome, beautiful ambience, very clean rooms with dreamlike beds for a restful sleep. In the morning a warm welcome to the delicious breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. Overall highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the nice stay!

Very nice "old" villa with a lot of love for details prepared — new extension — with very nice roof terrace and bar! Rich breakfast buffet — fantastically nice staff — even the owners teach you to feel at home! Top! Happy again and again!

Among to trees, very nice hotel. I stayed in old part. Building is old but new renovated. As negative only I'd say incompatibility between old and new part. I think it would be perfect if I stay at summer time.

Surprisingly easy to reach by car and to park. Train No 10 min. On foot. The tourist ticket allowed free trips to Basel. The hotel's own Park with rare trees (such as Sequoia) invites you to relax. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are very geschmaclvoll decorated and the beds even for sensitive back very digestible.

A narrow and windy road leads up to a little hill not far away from the town-centre. There it stands: the old villa in the middle of a green garden with old trees and great space of green. A great wilhemina hall from the turn of the century welcomes you. And at a first glance it doesn't look like a hotel-lobby at all. And even if you get a room in the modern part of the tiny hotel, the rooms are clean, spacious and all have little balconies. Free internet access via WLAN. Minibar, TV and modern but classic-styled furnitures. The team is very friendly and the staying here is like coming home to friends. To noble friends, indeed, 'cause there is no doubt, such a country estate can surely not be afforded by any of your friends :) I strongly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel, due to Basel World all hotels in Basel were booked so I had to look for alternatives and found this little hotel. It is close to Basel (20 minutes by train), breakfasts are very good, beds are comfortable, what else do you need.

Led us into the Hotel Villa elves. I knew it already of Stay for business trips. Now, we also have privately lived there and are only impressed. The rooms and the overall Hotel is in an excellent condition and very well held. The friendliness of the staff is very good. Anyway, we have in this Hotel on our entire trip at the best slept. Keep it up.
