Goog place and good hosts.

The hotel room under the roof, offers with warmth, hardly any retreat for refreshment. Dinner, well, if you order cheese plätzle, you don't want spätzle over, you want Käsespätzle! Service very slow and sluggish breakfast okay.

I'd love to give the restaurant 5 stars, because the food definitely deserved it. The rump steak has been perfectly prepared and the portions are really large. Prices are comparatively high for a restaurant in this style, but in my opinion justified. The operation is also very attentive and often looks past whether there are still enough drinks, which is also urgently needed, because the waiting times are extremely long. Had I not been there with a large group and a lot of talking point, I would have gone after the starter at the latest. We stayed a good 4 hours in the restaurant and only had appetizer and a main course. Even the coffee after the meal took 30 minutes until it was at the table. If you don't mind a lot of waiting time, you can think of the 5 stars here, because the rest was really almost perfect. But for me, unfortunately, that was definitely too long.

I am a little disappointed not to find rooms for May 3rd on the website there are and with our gift coupon it There is no I have phone and I was told that one could not explain to me so I was wrong 2 times no of Phone and the third call was most charming me I do not advise groupion always constraints etc.

Very friendly and helpful, reasonable prices, the rooms were super clean and very spacious and situated close to Baden Baden and Strasbourg. A family run, historic setting with hard working real people. They also allow animals. A real jewel. We will treasure this holiday. Our stay was really fantastic there. I would not hesitate returning. The restaurant was superb and the food delicious, the service fast and super friendly. Thank you very very much for a fantastic time. Hope to visit again. Highly recommended.

Located completely in the pampa. Rooms are clean and ok though. And more importantly, the kitchen is really good. Had fillet tips from the pig with spätzle and sponge. Was very, very tasty. Would have liked to have eaten here more often.

Very good regional, Baden cuisine with normal prices. Are regularly there and have never been disappointed before. As we come from the area we can only rate the restaurant, not the rooms…

Hotel is situated in the lovely village. Decent room and breakfast. The only minus is that it was very warm and window could not hold opened. I would definitely recommend this guest house.

Nice weekend in February. Room large enough and well equipped. Bathroom but tiny and the light switch for that in the wrong place. The ventilation is unpleasantly noisy. Food was good, although nothing special. However, we had to wait over an hour for dinner on Friday. Breakfast OK and standard, but without innovation. Staff friendly. Price for this performance is actually too low.

Rather loud Chinese guests made sleeping next to impossible. Breakfast good, rooms good top.

I would give love 5 stars, because on the whole, the House deserves, only unfortunately there are 2-3 points of criticism, but only the praise:
Very, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast (especially for the price) it lacked nothing! The first telephone contact to the departure super friendly staff (also in the staircase always a smile and a good day)
Points of criticism: the ventilation in the bathroom was very noisy and ran very long (maybe even completely clean), and at open window has one real problems, if you have a room facing the street. A do not disturb sign (sry if we just missed it) was unfortunately also missing, so we were still in the room should be cleaned.
But as I said, that are trifles in comparison to the feel-good factor and we would each time again book, if we are in the vicinity.

We were looking for a place to stay in Baden-Wurttemberg after a spa visit at Baden-Baden. I booked this B&B after seeing how highly it was rated on TripAdvisor. Also, the rates were very reasonable, and it included breakfast. The property does not have elevators, or AC. I don't remember seeing heat either, but then again, I went in the middle of summer and didn't look very hard for heat. The service at the hotel is wonderful. We got faulty directions from GPS unit, and got to the hotel after the stated last check-in time. I had tried to call to let them know that we were coming but alas, the cell phone reception was very poor. Nonetheless, the very friendly front desk lady stayed past her off duty time until we got there and checked us in before leaving. We definitely appreciated this level of service! The town of Lichtenau is a small quaint town. After we checked in, it was a little after 10pm. There were only two spots in town that were still open for food. The next morning, after our breakfast at Landgasthof zur Blume, we took a leisurely stroll around town. On the surface, there's not much to do or see at Lichtenau. In reality, we really enjoyed interacting with the local people during our walk around town. Everyone is so friendly, and the houses so beautifully kept. We love Lichtenau, and we love Landgasthof zur Blume. We hope to be back very soon.

Nothing can shake the flowers team. A bus with 50 people on the ride to the Netherlands? No problem. The big salad cheese salad with curls? Wiird prompt served — even if he is not on the map. Murder à la carte? For the young host even hired a drama troupe. The fine Baden cuisine is known. Even from Alsace, host people arriving to make well here go's. In the vernacular, it is called "Ott Küsinn! ". Because the Ott family still wields the Kochlössel. Soul of the flower is Marianne Ott — sees all, hears everything, can do everything. And helps.
The cuisine is rustic and tastes excellent. The rooms are all around good and reasonably priced. An Inn which invites to family celebrations as well as to the hand-holding couples. Wednesdays closed.
