Absolutely loved this family run hotel, we stayed 5 days. So friendly and everything about it was lovely. Could have stayed a lot longer. Very Highly recommended. Thank you to Rossi and his family your all stars xx.

We stayed at the Schwarzwald Hotel Sonne during our stay in Baden Baden and upon arrival we were immediately so impressed. Clean and charming hotel with fantastic owners! Our room had a beautiful view, the most comfortable bed, and updated amenities! Highly recommend!

In my opinion, the hotel should have an average of 2-3 stars. The hotels in the area Auerhahn, Hirsch, Geroldsauer Mühle all have a much better service, are friendlier and more flexible, but have similar reviews.
Dogs are not welcome. The welcome was therefore: " Woe the dog barks tonight. " We would have liked to have changed the hotel and cancelled it, but that should please cost the full price.
To be brief: The TV and the phone didn't work, the klodeckel wobbled and the shower had mold edges.
Clean and well maintained: Overall rather yes. But we didn't like anything else, not even the audience.

The location is just before the Schwartzwaldhohestrasse and a beautiful waterfall 5 minutes drive. If you stay on regular days ask for rooms with a lookout on a small stream. Otherwise, you'll get the rooms facing the 500 road and it's quiet noisy at nights. They serve very good breakfast and the owners are doing the utmost to serve and assist you. The rooms are cosy and the hotel gives you a very warm and homy atmosphere. No minibar and small fridge in the room. No dinner available. There are good German restaurants near by.

An amazing hotel. I was impressed by the view and the quality of the rooms. We were welcomed by very nice people. The breakfast was good.

Very nice, queit and clean hotel. Breakfast is good. Owner is a very nice person who can speak german, english and italian (maybe more). We just loved it. Very comfortable if you are travelling with a car. Will recommend to my friends.

Very nice with a love furnished hotel. All rooms with balconies. Very nice staff, delicious breakfast, nice location. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back.

The hotel is owned by a couple. They also work in it as administrators. And at breakfast also help to serve guests. Nice people speaking several languages. The rooms are clean and tidy. No frills, but it's not necessary. The bed linen and towels are clean, ironed. Stayed for one night only and had nothing negative to notice. The only thing is the breakfasts on the C grade, no more.

After we visited last year for the first time the Hotel, this year again booked. Very friendly hotel owner and a great extensive Breakfast buffet. Easy Top. Would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice and helpful owners room very clean to the top, a super large bed with very good bedding, our room gave behind very quiet! Nice view! We had a very nice breakfast.

The hotel was thankfully not located directly in Baden-Baden, but a little away. The air was very pleasant.

Since I am often in hotels I must praise the clean kettles. They looked like new. Unfortunately, this is not customary.
The hotel bar was rustic and cosy.

Inconspicuous but newly renovated hotel with very nice staff and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately at the moment without evening cuisine. Next time maybe.

About 6 kilometers from the city.
Very comfortable, very good scenery.
There's no elevator, there's a balcony in every room to smoke.

From the hotel to the right to the city near Free Wi-Fi free parking in front of the hotel has its own parking lot.

Without a doubt the friendliest hotel manager I have ever met! He came running outside as soon as we arrived to help us find a place to park. We had a lovely, affordable room with a balcony directly above the little stream that runs beside the hotel. Perfect score 5/7

Stayed here twice whilst touring the Black Forrest. You'll be hard pushed to find better for the price.

This hotel was best choice in Baden Baden. The reception staff were always smiling and very kind while they providing their service. The hotel itself was very very clean and quiet. The room size was great and the facilities in it was amazing. Definitely if I plan to visit the city again I will stay here.

Nice spacious rooms with balcony to a stream, clean and nice staff. Good breakfast. You need a car to get there and move around.
