The fact that I did not make a complaint to you on the day of the overnight stay is purely due to the fact that, from my point of view, the room reflected the overall impression of the hotel. The entire interior is very old and worn out and lived by the guests of the last decades. It seems that only the most distressed is made to maintain the operation. Even the exterior of the hotel looks old and bleak. Neighboring hotels have already closed. In general, a bleak picture from times when tourism in the Black Forest still had meaning.
Let's move on to the room: — bathroom: Generally clean, but with nationwide mould formation on the ceiling of the shower. Wall lamps that have at some point possessed writings now only have free-radiant LED bulbs.
— night's sleep: A ventilation shaft of the neighbouring room appears to run in the drywall behind the bed. This fan was busy the entire night for some time and appears to be defective. It transfers the vibration to the wall and accordingly makes a lot of noise — overall impression of the room: In recent decades, a wall has been pushed in colour and placed en flat screen televisions. The wall could have been better painted by a three-year-old.

Wonderful vintage hotel, very large room, large bathroom home great location of 1 St choice amazing view. Bad Herrenalb village of an extraordinary beauty and Germans hyper helpful they do speak French but we always get to understand, do not forget to visit the ruins of Frauenalb Abbey and the great Museum of Marseille.
