As per expectations it was fine as it is a very small city airport if Germany.

Great amenities like fitness & sauna, great room, nice ambiance and friendly staff… good breakfast choices too!

The staff member I just spoke to on the phone was so unbelievably rude that it would put me off ever booking with them!

It was nice. Clean and good breakfast. Not really a walking distance to the airport, but there is a shuttle every half an hour. It is in the middle of nowhere, nothing to do during the night. You don't have to check out before noon, in fact there is no time that you have to check out. You can stay as late as you can till your flight comes.

Very comfortable hotel, with a restaurant, a bar and a wellness area (sauna, steam room, infrared cabin-but these were defective when we visited at the end of July 18). Impeccable room. Proximity to motorways.

Transfers from the airport are free, and to the airport 5 degrees. The hotel is new and comfortable, inexpensive.

Good quality hotels. Outwardly not by a great impression. Inside very nice. A good reception service. Poor but acceptable restaurant. Unfortunately you have to pay for parking but this is quite normal.

Great rooms, unfortunately the staff doesn't realise they're working in a hotel and are suppose to be friendly and helpful. We were a group of 10 and had to clean our own tables at breakfast before we could even sit down, and waited about 20min to get new cutlery. Reaction on hotel post below: Payment&identification have nothing to do with my review, not sure why you bring it up yourself. I wasn't even gonna mention this, but good to know that your staffs general frustration is outputted on our whole group throughout our stay… You call waiting 20min for a table a "few minutes"… Oh and btw there was a sign saying the terrace was reserved and so it was not accessable.

Nice rooms and friendly staff. Only the breakfast is a nightmare and not worth the 19 euro. After the bussloads of tourists had breakfast there isn't a clean table left and we had to manage everything ourselves. The waiters just tidy up the dirty tables and get them ready for the night. If you want to have breakfast at 8u30 you will find yourself in total chaos. For this reason we will not come back to this hotel ever.

Nice, new, well decorated rooms, value for money price per room, good breakfast, friendly staff, parking, away from the city, could be a little bit cleaner (a towel was dirty and we found a hair in the toilet seat).

Just booked a room and at the arrival they said they were fully booked. They usually do overbooking just to survive and make money. And they sent me in the middle of nowhere… I don't suggest this to anyone.

Since I was here only for training purposes I can't make statements about bed or room.
Despite the fact, I would like to highlight the service and the little Aperetiv's which were very tasty here.
Lunch is also impressive.
The staff were very competent and super nice.
That's why I can only give 5 stars.

Excellent service and facilities only need to specify that the shuttle is only free from the airport to the hotel and not vice versa but either way the price is very affordable so much of the shuttle as the hotel.

Top Hotel. Clean, nice room tasteful ambiance. Small fitness and wellness area. The breakfast was very good. At the first moment I thought one was in the industrial area something "off the shot", but in the near vicinity there are some good restaurants. Also in the hotel you can eat, of course, a bit more expensive. No garage, but on my visit there were enough — paid — parking spaces at the hotel.

I'm summer lets want the air conditioning and the service was slightly overwhelmed in some situations. Otherwise solid NH quality.

Room good Price very high for this quality. Breakfast very bad and poor quality for 4 star hotel. This hotel is home to many refuges which you think you are in refuge camp, also during the breakfast which we could not eat our breakfast. I will never go to this hotel again. Very bad experience.

Good hotel and fitness — as well as wellness area sufficient. Very close to the area and the room was very small. However, the rooms are well appointed and clean.

Easy access to and from STR airport. Reasonable room rate, considering the upscale service provided at the concierge and the restaurant.

Commutation is not their best suit here but the hotel itself is quite nice and has many facilities. We booked online as it had a service to bring people to and from the airport, little did we know the service stopped at 10:45 pm, this was listed nowhere. We did however email beforehand and organised that they would pick us up at 11:30. When we arrived they were no where to be seen, we called and they advised us that the service stops at 10:45 we protested and advised that we agreed on a pickup at 11:30 which they refused even though we have an email chain of the conversation. We had to pay for our own taxi there, defeating the purpose of the stay. Once we arrived we talked to the concierge and showed them the email, we were offered a complimentary drink on the night, we were asking for a free ride back as the taxi cost us double what the shuttle would have. Concierge was unable to offer anything on the night and advised us will talk to his manager morning. When we came in morning they advised us that we were given a complimentary breakfast, which they failed to advise us early enough to take advantage of it and were able to receive a free ride back to the airport.

One of the receptionists was the kindest hotelier I have ever been served by, especially in Germany. Definitely I will be one of its regular guests in case of flyiing to and from STR airport. Pros: Upscale room settings were well suited at extremely reasonble room rate after a seasonal discount. Mattress was comfortable but not too soft as I have been suffering from a severe back pain for years by now. Servers at the restaurant/bar seem to be quite confident to provide their diners with decent service. Cons: For earlier morning flights before 7am, you need to take a cab since its airport shuttle does not start before 6am or so. Still you are charged for the shuttle "from the airport, " and the early morning cab drivers may charge a bit of extra, depending upon the number of passengers and luggage.

Recommended; Paid parking, it looks like the main business… few places and no parking in the area.

Hotel was relatively easy to get to via public transportation. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Nabbing a taxi to the train station was easy & affordable, they offer shuttle to the Stuttgart airport for 5 euro a person which is charged to your card that you left for incidentals. The shuttle begins at 0600 & runs every 30 minutes until?. The breakfast bar is plentiful & delicious offering a wide variety to satiate no matter where you're traveling from. The shower was a bit odd, personally, as it had a movable door to it (no curtain) to keep water in & save space (I'm guessing). As someone with a bad back, I wish the bed would've been softer which is why I gave a 4 star — bed comfort is a huge thing for me in my case. The room was clean & quiet, stocked with snacks & drinks. If you're traveling from the US, make sure to bring a converter piece for the outlets. Seems like a no-brainer but in the whirl of planning, the small things often slip by. Similar to a Holiday Inn or Quality Inn in the US.

Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the mattress was too hard for me. Therefore two star deduction.

Modern rooms. Approx. 20 minutes to the airport. Own hotel-shuttle, but it only starts from 6 o'clock in the morning. If you have to go earlier, you can pre-order a taxi. 20-25, 00 €.
There is a lunch box from the hotel if you can't use the breakfast.

Room was good, bar served decent beer, breakfast was good (hot and cold options). Stayed for work visit so no comment on price.

Quiet and clean. Ideal for overnight flights. Price is reasonable.

Good but not near to town or any major shopping area can be painful if you are not having a rental car.

Parking is fee, if you spend 170 euros per night per room (during the fair period) it would be dignified to think of including it always in the cost of accommodation. The free parking is insufficient (about ten places) and is always busy, of course. One evening we left the car parked for a few hours in the square adjacent to the Hotel (taking care not to occupy any areas used for the rescue or sockets-fire trucks entertainer) but the manager has thought well to call the tow-truck (and here I rises The doubt that there is a combine between Hotel — firm of removal to share the gains) thus charging us the cost of 250 euros for the recovery. I find this attitude very petty (could still have first warned us at least once of what you could risk…) Especially thinking that we were his customers and that on average we would stay a dozen days the one… Finally, I saw so many other customers outside our group running into this unfortunate situation… In short, director aligned with the German mentality intransigent but at the same time very clever… Ps. Our group consisted of about sixty people paying with 20/25 cars…)

Nice hotel, I recommend it rather for business stays or short.

Great and quiet place to stay, the pnly thong I can judge is too far away from train station, but a shuttle bus service will be able to cover.

Beautiful place, nice room. Around the hotel there is not much to do or see. A supermarket and few restaurants. Not a place to walk around in the evening. Taxi to airport costs 20 euros. It is far from town, not connected with metro. I took a 6am flight, asked for early shuttle, not available so early. When I stepped into taxi, the hotel shuttle taking a crew to airport. Not nice.

+Perfect breakfast and very clean rooms -Unfriendly stuff @ reception. Some of them does not even smile. Nobody responds your calls or even if they responds, they always makes you come to the reception.

I was told to expect a 4 star hotel, but I honestly would not rate it even 2… — Dirty stained carpets in the hallways, dirty walls, a lot of dust in the rooms, soiled and stained glasses, stains on the ceiling (?! ), the armrests of the chairs from the breakfast area were extremely dirty, all of these are common sense in a hotel of 2 stars, let alone 4. — The bathroom is a little small, the bath tub is tiny as well. I am 193cm tall at it feel awful. But my 170cm colleague finds it crowded as well. — Free parking is somewhat of a scam — there are 12-13 free spots, and then there is a big paid parking (14euro per day or 1.5euro the first hour and 1euro the next hours). — breakfast was ok, I guess, but fruits taste funny, juice glasses are only 100ml, and they could do with more salads or vegetables. — some of the staff was ok, but some were very rude. All in all, very disappointed, I would not stay here even for 50euro/night, let alone 140. If you are thinking of booking a room here, please consider FAIROTEL instead — it is a way, way better experience, for a lot less money.

We've stayed in the hotel from Aug, 8 till Aug, 15, 2017. Actually, we're still staying here. The place is very close to the airport, but if you don't hire a car it'll take you more then an hour to get to the city. The rooms are nice and neat and the breakfast is very well, except one point — no salad was all this week. The rest is under the red line. Cleaning is awful — the cleaner from one side didn't remove any dust nor swept the floor in the room and left teacups dirty on the table where the were left in the morning even after complaints and from other side she had thrown away my full small bottle of whiskey together with empty bottles of water. After my complaint about the issue I've received a letter on desk in the room saying: "Regarding the missing bottle, I'm sorry to inform you the it was removed from the room by our housekeeping staff. We were informed that the bottle was removed due to the bottle being completely empty. I do hope this is not too much of inconvenience for you. " As usual in cheap places their policy as follows — guest leis to get something more. The staff tries so hard to clean that leaves dirty cups on the desk and after complaints, the reception even didn't apologize. Bottom line — not recommended.

Nice clean room, large bathroom but not much counter space. Have to agree with other reviewers regarding maintenance issues. Hallway leading to our too had stained carpets and the walls were dirty, wallpaper torn. We wanted​ an early breakfast room service, but the card was never picked up from our door. Free shuttle from the airport. 5 Euros TO the airport. Overall, still a nice hotel though.

Staying in the hotel for 2 nights and the room is spacious enough for 1 person on a business trip. Classic but timeless look. The bathroom is equally spacious and looks really nice. Showering in the morning is an experience though because one moment its burning hot, the other moment its cold as ice. The breakfast is decent, nothing worth mentioning apart from the heavy price for something a 3 star would also offer. There are black spots in the curtains and blinds in the room I stayed in. Like proper black and looks like oil/grease, perhaps from the window? At the entrance there are standing ash trays on both sides but on one side it was clear someone had vomited all over the stones and ground and that's right next to the entrance but the hotel didn't seem to care as it looked like it was from the night and in the morning it was just still there. That's really 4 star unworthy, at least not an first impression I would want to make at guests when they walk through the door.

Wait 20 minutes at the bar without seeing a server at 6pm, ask for a taxi but never see it, wait 30 min to check out, wait 10 minutes to use as only one coffee machine for 400 rooms and all for 300euros at night!

I stay here quite often, every time I come to visit family in Filderstadt. I have good things to say about the hotel, but this last stay we discovered that they changed their previous free parking to 14 Euro/night! Nope, just nope. We parked on the street a few hundred meters away. I think it's kinda crap that they didn't mention this before booking.

Good hotel, near to the airport. Rooms are very quiet, no noise from the airport. Breakfast could be a bit cheaper.

There have participated in a training course. The ambiance looks at first glance in order however, some defects are soon apparent when E. G. Fire extinguisher without marking, … The food is offered on Buffettbasis, but nothing special. The drinks at the dining table is set to minimalist. The parking situation and directions is "tight". The payment of the ticket is simply poorly organized.

I was a guest in this hotel and am very disappointed. But nothing more is a nice hotel though.
There are hardly any parking and you virtually forced the paid parking to take advantage, because otherwise there are no other parking. 14 euro per day! On question, that some other info is included on the homepage, it was unfriendly fobbed off at the front desk.
Furthermore, the experience in the restaurant was disastrous.
It has not been received and had to wait a few minutes until it was performed on the table. My order was incomplete and flawed.
Typical price for the performance can be expected. (Measly fillet and verkochtes vegetables for 30 Euro)
When paying, you must embark on the search for operating personnel.
Spa is very nice. Unfortunately, the infrared sauna 115 degrees had 42 degrees and the sauna. Hooks to hang bathrobes from the wall torn. A shower defect and the other only with boiling hot water.
My conclusion: customer-friendliness and service orientation seem to be foreign words.
That was the first and last time in this hotel.

Due to a seminar session, I was in this NH Hotel. I am very disappointed.
The staff was very different, while I was welcomed very friendly upon arrival from a young lady, was her colleague at the reception on the following lunch just now back and unfriendly.
The breakfast was an effrontery. The scrambled eggs too mushy, glued associated spoon with remnants of early in the morning. One-third of the restaurant was cordoned off, that they found a free seat with his plate in hand. The existing staff was already overloaded with the clearing of the plates, so you no coffee or so could get.
I found the seminar service also very modest. Glasses have been changed only once per day, drinks no longer populated. At the seminar you could focus not 100% Pb, because much too good to hear the lectures from the next room. The Beamer flickered cheerfully to himself and was a current model many years ago definitely times.
You could also give the lunch. The quality and the taste of the food have not convinced me. The composition of the food was not co-ordinated.
The situation may be interesting due to its proximity to the airport for anyone. Otherwise, you can forget the area. Bleak, boring and… well, that somehow has nothing at all.
We can say nothing against the room. That was sufficiently large, clean, and just ok. I didn't expect you to special, but it now also nothing. Just a normal hotel rooms of this category.

For the conference to have been there. Made a great impression.

90% cancellation costs and no goodwill for direct bookings via the website. In my view this is not up to date.

Rooms are clean, good and functional. From the airport you don't get much with (the claim elsewhere here do not understand). Food has good quality, W-LAN is now free of charge. The staff are polite and courteous. I have been visiting this Hotel since 2007, always happy and regular. Prices for drinks at the Bar are so that you will definitely enjoy! Prices for the meals are on average Hotelniveau.

Strong Wi-Fi, delicious breakfast buffet. Really inconvenient if you want to go downtown, but nice for business travel.

The Hotel is very nice and the room is well furnished. The cleanliness harpert it's already in some places, but nothing serious. The Breakfast is very good, but also has a high price. Just move the prices at the Bar, etc in the upper segment.

“Ok, but quite noisy” How to stop a NH Hotel, very good Breakfast, the Restaurant is also OK. However, the airport is quite right to be heard clearly. That should be obvious if you are an airport hotel Bay.

Today Was break here at the Hotel. Is not bad for z. Z 27.00€.

Training rooms the facilities are unfortunately not on the latest state of the art: — it attracts — the noise level from the hallway of passing ladies with high heels is in the classroom much to hear — why is a classroom, a carpet and in the hall not? — the W-LAN connection drops Regularly Glasses for the drinks are not clean and contain strange residue the lighting is not dimmable and is not suitable for a projector Tables are unsuitable for a training course if two people are working on it — Food moves are still in the normal range, but also nothing special The Hotel makes a good impression from the inside, why the meeting rooms do not fit, I understand the best will not. The toilets are clean, but do not have the same Standard. For some, there are disinfection spray for the toilet seat. Parking is free and close to the entrance.

Good staying there. Soundproof room, spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. A lot of choice for breakfast.

Great Hotel, very good rooms, good facilities, very Modern, helpful staff, Sauna is very clean, rooms are quiet. Good variety of Breakfast items, various Café variations can be ordered free of charge. Airport Shuttle costs now, unfortunately, money, but so far it is ok, 3 people's worth but rather a normal Taxi! immewieder like.
