Affordable quiet hotel. Something got old but Sauber.

It really is a great hotel and besides, there is (for those who don't want to stay there) a swimming pool that is really good.

A hotel not too bad but none in restoration and service.

The hotel is beautifully located, but has its best days far behind it. Worn furniture, carpets and permeated mattresses, gnarled beds. The hotel would need to be renovated as a matter of urgency.
The waiting times in the restaurant are also rather borderline, the food is for * * * quite ok. Unfortunately, too few staff and too small buffets, so basic edibles were always made and you have to wait a long time for supplies to come.
The reception was friendly, though not continuously staffed.

Nice location, friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast.
Come back.

2-night weekend spent with our 11-year-old boy.
What we like: — The very pleasant reception — the staff in general always smiling — the charm of the hotel — the very large family room (45 m2) — The quiet — the Great breakfast (sweet, savoury, cereals, fresh fruit…)
— The indoor pool — the mid-way location between ski slopes and the Badeparadise the point to be improved: make more translations in French (e. G. Menus) Given the proximity of France that would be normal. During our stay there were at least 5 French families so we were not an exception.
The big plus of the stay is the Black Forest map. That's a great idea. The fact of spending 2 nights gives you the right to this card. It allows for example not to pay the ski lifts (for 2 days) which still represents almost 100 euros per day for 2 adults and 1 child. Or 1h30 free per day at the swimming pool Badeparadise or 42 EU a day at 3 (attention on weekends you will still have to pay 3 EU per person). So for us our stay was very profitable thanks to this map.
To conclude we would go back with pleasure.

One of the best places we ever stayed. Not super luxury. But lovely staff, well planned out and caring management. They clearly pay attention to detail. A baby bed set up before we arrived. High chair already at our table. Even a warm pool for the Baby. Just perfect. We can not wait to stay again. Thank you!

Not bad, some staff not so freindly.

We have not stayed there, just ate in the restaurant. Staff very friendly, very nice room, decorated style black forest. Food a little greasy but good portions. Attention, the prices on the card are VAT-free, 20% to add to the price.

Very nice quiet hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are beautiful big, but unfortunately in the years come. It would be nice if the shower bathtub into a shower gewechsel would.
Otherwise I can only highly recommend the hotel. The hotel is a friendly and family atmosphere. Breakfast very rich and also the dinner menu is great. Everything tasty. We will definitely come again.

Perfect to enjoy to rest. Very empfehlemswert bar in the lobby. Friendly staff and wonderful food! We always love to come back.

Scenically located Hotel, but unfortunately, in the years to come. In Schwarzwaldstil-equipped rooms are no longer appropriate in the organisation (gray carpeted floors, bahambeige colored baths, in which the Tooth of time has gnawed. This is the price of the room is clearly too high.

An ideal Hiking hotel, here, eat well and cheaply. Nice hosts and all of the rooms in the front or out the back with a balcony.
