Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms and clean bathrooms. Wi-Fi partly somewhat weak but present.
There is something for everyone at breakfast.
Free parking is in front of the hotel, which is followed by a restaurant.

Great cuisine. Nice people. Read the wish from your eyes. We were very satisfied. Accommodation is looking very nice. The restaurant is very great and tastefully furnished.

We celebrated a communion with about 30 guests and were completely satisfied. The menu was discussed in peace and there was an early estimate. The room for groups is large and nicely decorated. The buffet promised all guests, the service was kept in the background, but always saw when something was needed.
From me a clear recommendation and the full score!

The location is great. However, the food and service is very different. We have already received mini portions since the men were still hungry afterwards. For us rather nothing more where we want to go to eat.

Service is good and rooms are cleaned very well. There doesnt come a lot of warm water out of the showers and the bed is kinda hard overall Id recommend this to anyone because of the wonderfull setting with rivers in the front and in the back of the hotel. And because of what I said before.

Have spent a Night there. Dinner plentiful. Please Order Curry chicken nets with Rice only if you have a huge Hunger. Big Portion. But very tasty. Breakfast plentiful. Employees very nice and attentive. Room clean. Will come back.

Mill Island has perhaps the most beautiful Beer Garden in the Region. And Beer Gardens are almost in Vain in Kenzingen and the Surrounding area.
You don't have to worry about eating anything, either. Just enjoy the Evening with a cool Beer.

Friendly staff, very good meals. Clean plumbing. Only shortcoming, from 8 food ordered at the same time, one came only after the remaining 7 had already eaten up (despite waiting as long as it went before the food went cold)

Excellent. Highly recommended. My food — roast lamb in burgundy sauce with potatoes and beans — was a treat. We like to come back. Thanks to the chef for the very well prepared roast.

A very great restaurant. The food tastes great, there are very good portions and price it is also really great.

Great hotel. Who likes to be on their own island, for it is just right. Rooms look great and very clean. The restaurant exudes a cosy flair and invites you to stay for a long time. Very centrally located and in a quiet corner. The menu offers the right choice for every taste. And a gorgeous bar.

More than satisfied. Very nice atmosphere, really good food and all very friendly.

Very well furnished rooms with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Clean and quiet. Only the shower is somewhat frugal. Larger flat screen TV set up at the desk.

The salad was no longer fresh and the staff stressed. We would rather have renounced a main dish.

We had a wunfevollen evening. We've got a roast pork dish recommended. It has been so tender and juicy that it has fallen on my plate. Alone 5 stars. We were served by a really very sympathetic woman we didn't miss anything. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very friendly family run hotel. Spacious, clean and cool rooms, although there was no air conditioning and it was 37 degrees in the shade. The train station is close by and both Freiburg and the Europa Park are very easy to reach. The restaurant is first class and delicious. Also the operation was top. Breakfast is clear, but nothing is missing. It costs only €6, which for me is a price-performance ratio of "very good". If we want to go again to Freiburg, or to the Europa Park, the Mill Island becomes our first choice! Thanks for the great stay.

Super local, friendly staff, very good location right on the Elz, large garden terrace beautiful in summer, good menu great selection and regional dishes, for birthday party, family celebration Super, here there are great rooms and nice ambiance, we have Italian buffet eaten simply super, very friendly staff, and nice and inexpensive rooms there as well. This place is worth a visit.
We celebrated with 40 people until the wee hours of the morning.

Birthday party in the Mill Island. I am excited. Super food, great ambiance, super nice team. Always happy again!

Very nice view and very friendly staff.

Excellent restaurant can break the monotony of German cuisine. Absolutely recommended for those who are in the area and want to take a small detour to eat well without spending too much!

Family atmosphere, very good suitable for celebrations, the sympathetic and guest-oriented team, makes even small celebrations with your ideas for a unique experience, what they will never forget. Like to get back as a guest. Price performance is top in my view. As can the large hotels, some learning of the service. Thanks to the position where the mill Island team for the Nice un unforgettable time with you.
