First of all, I would like to praise the receptionist who really tried to resolve our complaints as best we could on the first evening.
There are 3 free parking spaces in front of the house that are assigned to the hotel. With the number of beds, however, it is rather utopian to get a parking space there. Different in the underground car park. There is enough space and for 15€ per day, you can leave your car there. We were travelling with our teenage daughters, so we wanted to have two adjoining rooms, which worked perfectly, thank you for that.
But now in the first of our rooms the plugs in the sink were defective, so that the water could not drain after washing the hand. In response to the complaint, we were transferred to other rooms.
When we wanted to source them, one of them was already inhabited by other guests. So back to the reception and we were assigned two other rooms.
Once there we noticed that the toilet seat was only attached to one side and when we wanted to take a shower we noticed that the mounting rod of the shower head was very loose and therefore it was rather difficult to adjust the shower.
Of course, we also complained about this, but we said straight away that we no longer want to move, but that the shortcomings should simply be rectified.
The seat was then also screwed the next day, the shower rod is still loose.
Air conditioning is available, but it can only be set down by three degrees, regardless of the outside temperature. On arrival, the room had 28 degrees.
At breakfast we were then able to determine on the first day that the cocoa was out for the children and also on request it was not possible to replenish the cocoa powder. After a few other things had gone out (there were still 1.5 hours to the end of breakfast) and the baking rolls were baked so brightly that one thought they had just flown past the oven, we decided to tick off the whole roof as an experience. Yes, 9€ per person is not a very high price for breakfast, but when I offer it, it should be reasonable. On the positive side, one of the service staff took the issue of disinfection seriously in Corona times and always disinfected the tables properly. Also on day 1 the masks were worn decently.
On the second day there were cocoa again, but cups and rolls only on demand. Today, however, fresh fruit and vegetables were also available. Unlike the day before, however, the staff ran through the area with the mask under their noses and the rags with which the tables were wiped, always landed on the plates to be cleared and were then used for the next table. Delicious
