It's the worst hotel I've ever been to. We were a group of 50 of which 23 had to change hotels because of the amount of deficiencies presented by the rooms, the rest we had to stay because there were no rooms in other hotels nearby. Of 4 stars nothing, it does not even become a hostel. Bad service, horrific cleaning, bathtub full of dog hairs, heat to mansalva as they have no air conditioning, broken windows, awnings above the bed, poor breakfast, a single elevator. I tell you an anecdote, more than an hour we were waiting to get off the third floor on the day we were leaving. Anyway, I could be here till tomorrow to comment on all the shortcomings of this site. I still wonder who gave the 4 stars to this disastrous place. A full-blown fiasco.

Friendly, helpful service, comfortable room (suite), tasty breakfast buffet, great with children and we all had a lovely drink at the well-stocked bar in the evening, keep up the good work!

FAWLTY TOWERS in a modern jacket… I know this hotel since about 17 years and since the new owners it is a disaster! Although the rooms got a new modern look, which is nicely done, they lack hygiene and maintenance! In the short period it exists the conditions of the rooms are terrible! Curtains broken — if you ask to repair it, you get the comment that they had a group of young people a few weeks ago who broke them (also in other rooms) and they checked and it would be to expensive to repair them?!? — Room service is (apparently) free, but when you use it, you get the comment, that I should consider myself lucky that I got roomservice as they have 'staff' problems for the moment… At breakfast… 1 (slow) coffee-machine that constantly broke down. A waiting line of 10 minutes to get one…!?! And no one of the staff seemed to bother… got the feeling they were fed up with all the things that constantly went wrong… Made me think of John Cleese's Fawlty Towers… but then in a modern jacket…

The counter staff is very patient, but the room clean-up thing, can not find anyone, it is too difficult for her.
The drinks in the room fridge are free, which is good for this group. No water heater, for Oriental guests, a little inconvenience.

Stylish décor. Free and good Wi-Fi. Free minibar. Big TVs.

So first for the good.
What I commend is the Breakfast of a Variety of Things to Choose from. The bright Exterior in the Rooms is very ok.
What was very bad, however, is the Cleanliness in the Hotel, which is the Be-all and End-all. The next thing is that at some Prices it is very expensive like having Breakfast in the Room. What I also have to complain about is that make you break switchdly so please improve these Deficiencies. Dan we test this Hotel again.

As already mentioned, savings were made here on the wrong end. The cleanliness in the bathroom leaves something to be desired. Otherwise very friendly staff. All the best.

Here is everything the visitor needs. Free minibar, very large TV. We often played football or billiards. Also the staff was very friendly. Best Hotel ever!

The hotel is centrally located and was previously a Mercure hotel. Now under Dormero, the hotel has been rebuilt in a brighter modern style. For me personally, who stays professionally more often in hotels, the whole seems to be playful, but that is a matter of taste. The rooms have a large TV, the beds are comfortable, drinks in the room are included. Unfortunately the bathrooms have not been renovated and you can see that. In my opinion, this was saved at the wrong end. But what I have come up with above all is the price. Previously (under Mercure) I always paid so around the 90, — € including breakfast. This time the hotel suggested to book with 120, — € and that without breakfast. This was due to an additional 15, — €, which is too expensive for my taste. In addition, you could park at the parking lot (7, — €) under Mercure. Now the full price is due because the hotel no longer works together with the parking lot. Would I book the hotel again? I would at least look for alternatives when I am in Villingen Schwenningen. For me the hotel has lost much of its charm.

— Centrally located — modern bright rooms, unfortunately not as clean as you would expect as a guest.
— A large monitor with free movies.
— Drinks in the minibar are free.
— Guaranteed room Cover Unfortunately only 15 o'clock — the "Do Not Disturb" — sign was unfortunately ignored during my stay. Between the tapping of the staff and the opening of the door there was no time to say "no".

We had the great honour of being the first guests in 2017. We were very surprised how great and loving it was renovated and furnished. Now after almost a year we were there for the second time and it was like when you come home, top service and a top breakfast. Thanks to the team and it was certainly not our last visit to the villa.

I travel a lot for work so I scheduled a two week trip here and they charged my credit card the full amount after I canceled (they have a 24hr before cancellation policy). I asked them to refund it and they only gave me back a partial amount that was charged so I am still working with my credit card company to get my money back. I ended up staying a different week and got charged for the room nightly. When I checked out I ended up paying for the week and the nightly charges eventually disappeared, so by the end of my stay this hotel had my card ran up to around $3000 for a bill that was only €620. The room I stayed in was small and cramped (room 450). They advertised for 24 room service which was unavailable the entire week. The pillows sucked and the parking was 200m outside the city center and was about €10/night. I like the location and the breakfast and the hotel was very new however, I most likely wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel is beautifully located in the old town of Villingen. Young and Peppig with everything you need for a short trip to this beautiful city. The rooms are quiet and large enough. The staff at reception friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is neither clean nor maintained. Here the bar is missing above the TV, there the curtain is broken and hangs on the bed and the walls are zerschrammelt. With cleanliness you don't take it so accurately here. Dirt on the bathtub, mold at the window frame and hair on the bed is not there for the sensitive soul.

So. A BISL and the price is very tight. But really bothered me the black mold at the window.

In the middle of the old town, no parking garage, car park about 500m away, bad when it rains, room OK, with small faults like shaky shower head suspension, Badewannne,, mattress gewoehnungsbeduerftig, not hard, not soft, staff very friendly, Average buffet breakfast.

Unconfortable pillows… everything else is good.

Unfortunately, what was initially predetermined was not kept. Was unfortunately not clean and the water in the shower did not expire properly. In addition, a cleaning fee of 15, 00 EUR per night is charged for a dog, which is too much. For the Paschale, a dog bed and a bowl should be in the room. However, nothing was available. That's a pity.

The hotel itself is very nice and great location… but with the cleanliness haperte it very. Toothpaste stuck to the mirror, hair from the predecessor etc but empty bottles behind the curtain did not go at all. Got a new better room but also the cleanliness is questionable. Otherwise all are very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is also delicious!

A strange, gaudy and fun spot in a walled medieval town.

Worth to spend time staying with.

A hotel converted from an old building in the old town may be good for self-driving passengers, otherwise you will need to drag the suitcase through the town's stone pavement, walk hundreds of meters to reach the hotel, outside the hotel, also stay in Germany for a few days, the only place to see the ground there are many cigarette butts.
Hotel reception hall, elevator, room, restaurant space are very cramped, room design color trendy, but into the room has not been used in the bathroom, pedal pad actually found cotton rod, bathtub drainage hole blockage … The advantage is that the equipment is novel, haughty free to provide refrigerator 6 bottles of drinks, service staff attitude is also good.

It is a strange hotel, in renovation even though I was paying attention to curious details and sympathetic messages. The rooms are big but the renovation is only on the furniture. The walls already accuse the passage of time. Breakfast is fine. The attention is better. Very young people and something inexperienced but we can all learn. There are condoms between the ammenities in case someone is lucky. The Wi-Fi works well. Eye, there is no 24-hour reception which can be a problem. I would repeat but if I did not find another alternative.

Very modern and comfortable, there were still things to end but in general very well.

Nice place for stay and very delicious breakfast.

Rooms are recently remodeled and clean. Free Minibar, Pool table in the lobby. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Located in a great City within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants.

A manager of a special kind who takes himself for each of his guests time and clarifies every problem also his staff is always friendly, polite and helpful.
This hotel can only recommend to anyone!

The location is good, Base in the downtown, in the morning you can hear the bell rings from the church, the room is OK, we are stay at the top layer in the hotel, but I think maybe it's not a good choice for group tourists, specially for Chinese, I think they don't want show friendly to Chinese tourists.

Great sauna area, great Breakfast, ideal for a city break because of the old town. Also Radfahrerfreundlich :-).

Not everything is Gold that glitters! What I write here should, above all things, agencies, travel agencies, bus companies, inclusive bus driver intressieren!
