Very courteous, competent and friendly Service without being pretentious. Here you can also enjoy and relax with a Top cuisine and excellent wine card. We are looking forward to next Time.

A beautiful hotel that offers everything you want.
We experienced a little surprise and were booked without knowledge in a higher room category. The room was large with roof terrace!
The hotel is located in houses, hardly any through traffic, very quiet.
The food and breakfast was excellent. Garden and wellness area super well maintained.

The offer for the stay was very good.
The food is for connoisseurs and was a highlight every day on it's new. We had not expected that in this quality. This means that you have to describe the price of the hotel with food as very favorable.

I spent a long weekend at this hotel. After the many positive reviews my expectations were very high. I must say I was not disappointed. After a warm welcome and a short house tour, I was fed in the in-house restaurant with a 4-course menu. The food is superb, seasonal and local products were perfectly combined. The wine list is handsome. A wine recommendation was shown on the daily menu card.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and leaves little to be desired.
During the day I had enough time to explore the spa area and give me two 50-minute treatments (definitely a few weeks-months before booking! ) Very relaxing!
In the afternoon I took a small tour in the vicinity. The Titisee can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
All in all a relaxing and all round perfect weekend. Only courage drop: Internet bandwidth! This was very slow. But since I barely used it (I was there for recovery), it didn't bother me.

4 Star House with catastrophic service!
After a stay at the hotel Adler I wrote the following complaint by mail: Today I went to a mail in which I should rate your hotel and our stay in your house. I would like to give you my opinion before this evaluation. We decided to stay in your house for a short time, because we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday in a suitable setting. Booking in a 4-star hotel promises an unspoiled enjoyment at a self-confident price. Here are a few points that stand in the face of these promises and make it difficult for me to really enjoy this stay at the high price. On the evening of arrival we came to your House restaurant for dinner and looked for a table in the manageable room as there was no staff and no reservation instructions were denied. Only when we were sitting, a co-worker shared with us that this would not be our table… we should follow her. But in the end we sat at the previously selected table. (! ) It came to us as a generous and benevolent decision of your employee, but not as a guest-oriented interest. To my question during the meal to our service, whether the option for the next day in the gourmet restaurant would fold, we received until today no answer… That I felt it as an impersonal of 4 — 5 different people ´ cared for ´ was also annoying for other guests. If at least the quality of the operation would be appropriate.

A house with a soul. Here you can feel the tradition. For our stay at the beginning of August the spa area was unfortunately only limited, so we would have liked to be hinsweisen. So we got a little price. Great bar with all the Michelin guides of the last decades.

Great hotel very good reception and service nothing to complain at this level excellent restaurant pool well heated which is very nice 2 points negative however: price of drinks not included and fairly high rate bathroom unheated during the night so very Cold in the morning.

Great hotel, excellent service and very fine food. The staff is very höfflich and accommodating. The wellness area absolutely sufficient for relaxation. The overall feeling is very, very good.

This hotel is officially a 4-star Superior hotel in the typical architecture you find all over Bavaria, Black Forest and Tirol. Half of the rooms are still with carpet and have balconies of some form. The other half of rooms and suites has been redesigned into Design rooms. The strength of this hotel is its wonderful swimming pool, outside jacuzzi and no textile sauna area. Furthermore there is an extensive Spa with massages, facials, etc available in the hotel. The food served in the main restaurant comes out of a Michelin star restaurant. Yes, since 1966 this hotel hosts uninterrupted a 1 star Michelin chef. The half board Plus formula means there is a rich breakfast buffet and a 5 course dinner included, and from 2pm till 4pm there is buffet of soup, bread, salads, deserts available to the guest. Included for the length of your stay are tickets for public transport, which is very handy especially in snowy winters. Good bus connections and train connections bring you all around the Hochswartzwald (South Black Forest). The food is exquisite, as said earlier. You can swap your half board+ for a night at the affordable star restaurant. They will deduct 31€/pp for you missed diner. The pool area and sauna area is beautifully renovated and it feels very special to be in an outside jacuzzi while snowing. Bathrobe, slippers and plenty of towels available, including a nice basket, and even in high season the relaxing area is never too crowded.

Unfortunately disappointing. Online, the hotel makes a very positive, modern and valuable impression, the reality unfortunately is different:
— Hatten booked a deluxe design room because of the beautiful photos on the hotel homepage: The pictures on the internet promise unfortunately much more. Our room had hardly anything in common with the beautiful photos on the homepage. In friendly demand at the front desk, I was handled very quickly: "All rooms are different. "
— The hotel restaurant is not comfortable to the maximum, the room urgently needs to be redesigned! Breakfast is rather simple, the dinner menu kept simple (appetizers were always vegetarian, overall all courses without much sophistication and only with more affordable ingredients). The wine selection is good, but very expensive. The service is at pains.
— The spa area is brand new, very modern and well maintained. Only positive point of the hotel!
— We had booked the gourmet menu in the in-house star restaurant one evening: The food was very good, the service much better than in the house restaurant. As hotel guests, however, we were placed in an anteroom, as if we wanted to stay away from the other guests. The menu was pre-selected, even with the main course there was no choice. Wine accompaniment good, but very expensive!
Overall, the stay at Hotel Adler was not entirely cheap. For the price and the positive presentation on the Internet, I would have expected much more!

With the Romantic Weekend we enjoyed an all-round pampering service in the Eagle: Tastefully renovated room, excellent food and pure relaxation in the spa area. On Sunday we were able to enjoy the sauna landscape almost alone. Recommended: The hike to St. Blasen through the forest.

We were cordially welcomed. In general, the personl was very polite and helpful. The food was excellent and I really appreciated that the staff had no problem with wishes, but still gave suggestions as to what might be considered evasive mögiability. The spa was always tidy and you always had the opportunity to have a bite to eat or drink. Every morning my got a leaf where excursion suggestions were on it, I really appreciated this.
We were able to relax the days very much and would miss the hotel.

A very nice hotel, great food. Sauna and swimming pool very good. We will keep coming back, although the path from the lower Rhine to the Black Forest is very far.

Great Service, great food, stunning Spa area and on all wishes is received. We felt the 3 nights very comfortable and are relaxed and happy have left. We will definitely be back! As in the reviews dogs often were a topic, we would like to the following to add: We travelled with a dog and were informed of at the time of booking that the dog is only allowed to stop in certain areas. We had to book a room category higher than planned, as the house is, understandably, no dogs in rooms with carpets, quartered (Hygiene, allergies of other guests, e. T. C). For us, perfectly understandable and we were informed in advance, class! The more expensive rooms were allowed to refer to which to me with the dog, was beautiful, super modern, and left really no wishes open. From our point of view, the eagle is recommend, even with your dog absolutely. Thanks for the great stay!

Wonderful little Hotel with large rooms, very good food, and attentive, friendly staff. Their Michelin star restaurant caters well for a romantic dinner but also large groups. They got the steak just right for 65 people at the same time at my wedding.

Thank you for your hospitality. We spent our time very good and beautiful. The rooms and the Service were simply 1A. The concept of the lunch salad/soup and cake, we enjoyed very much. Spa and massage fit super. Only the reconstruction of the garden during our stay would be in online a mention occurs. We were not sure the last Time.

This year, we — have already enjoyed Eagle for the 5th time — three super days in the hotel. It remains in our earlier assessment; It is true just about: comfortable hotel, helpful team, the culinary delights, fantastic morning buffet to the delicious dinner, the spacious wellness oasis — quite simply phenomenal!

Too expensive for what is offered. The culinary top. Operation efficient and friendly. Rooms were very nice. Swimmbecken very nice. The gym was entäuschend. Dark small Sauna, no plunge pool, a steam room with almost no steam. Everything in the basement area. Rennovierungsbedürftig.

All the people in the hotel are very friendly, others. We have appreciated the chef de service at the gourmet restaurant! Great hotel, the only point of criticism is the rather small spa area, in particular the recovery zone.

The hotel has been downgraded from the Relais & Chateau status to a 4 stars only because indeed it is not that level anymore, although they try to keep the prices as high as if it is a luxurious property! Internet is pretty slow and unreliable, no coverage at the restaurant. Room is too small for the price I paid. Breakfast is decent, parking is free. Service is so-so. Alas.

Very comfortable, excellent staff and service and food very good. We would have preferred a bit more flexibility to eat elsewhere on some days. A small point — we were surprised that at tea-time we got a free Kuchen but had to pay for a cup of tea!

We were very warmly welcomed and the staff was very friendly. The room was beautiful and very stylishly decorated. The SPA area has us very well fallen. We have recovered very well. We will be sure to once again a couple of days to spend here.

Very nice smaller Hotel with beautifully designed rooms, an excellent kitchen and a very nice Wellness area. Very friendly and attentive staff. All in the beautiful area of the Hochschwarzwalds, both in summer and in Winter, a variety of recreation and leisure opportunities.

We were already for the third time here and it was (almost) perfectly. The dinners were wonderfully done, but this unfortunately is not too warm. The staff, the ambience, the Wellness area is simply a dream. Be sure to come back.

We were now already for 4. Or 5. Once at the Hotel Adler — that really says it All: this cosy Hotel, the friendly Team, the culinary delights, from the fantastic Morgenbuffet up to the fine dinner, the spacious Wellness oasis — quite simply phenomenal.

We were here several times already, but each Time we enjoy the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended. Dinner in hotel was fantastic.

It was all wonderful, the food is excellent, we felt completely comfortable. Only one small thing : We would have liked in between a simple Prosecco for a refreshing swim had, unfortunately, they gave us without "warning" a very expensive champagne, so we have to stop this refreshment then in the city, but otherwise we can house and Service highly recommend, we will come back again. I've got very positive impressions staying here for 3 days. In spite of its location somewhere in the middle of Schwarzwald the hotel is just a paradise! It is decorated in every possible way; flowers are everywhere. Service is very good. Spa area among other things boasts a beautifully decorated swimming pool. There is a lot of space around the hotel to put you car (free of charge), and the wireless Internet in the lobby is free as well. The room rate is rather attractive, as the rooms themselves.
