The hotel is just great. The rooms are modern and have wooden floors in the room and tiles in the bathroom. Breakfast is very versatile and very tasty and is constantly replenished. The staff is super friendly. The swimming pool is also super nice and clean. The hotel is recommended for couples, families and also dog owners.

Partitions on the balcony, but please do not for little ones who know each other! In the evening very quiet! The swimming pool is great! a pity, the new sauna was not ready yet! At breakfast everything was always plentiful! From scrambled eggs… to the tasty fruit salad! All in all, EXCELLENT!

Nice hotel located in the Southern part of Germany close to the Swiss border. Nice room with a big bathroom in a typical German design of the region. The hotel has a nice pool, but their sauna area is really creepy. Nothing special. We had one overnight stay and enjoyed including their breakfast. Excellent strong free Wi-Fi and car park.

Never again! didn't like the food and on top of that got food poisoning.

Exactly what they wanted, no more and no less. Very good breakfast, clean places, very friendly staff, only downside bedding that was not very comfortable.

Worst night in my life at hotel. Beds very very very hard and uncomfortable. Had sleep for 3hours. I have a very good physical condition but in the morning I had pain with legs and back. Fortunately it was just for one night. Never again.

Good hotel with good restaurant at 750 m altitude. You sit nicely on the terrace and enjoy the market-fresh cuisine of the boss Uli Blatter. Especially suitable for bikers and cyclists. Many Swiss find their way here, always a good sign.

Nice quiet hotel with a great breakfast buffet. The dinner at the Sonnenhof was very high. A great location.

A nice stay with little unsightly subtleties. The hotel consists of two houses. We were accommodated in the house Sonnhalde. The rooms are nice and spacious (if you don't sleep five in a room).
The bathroom with tub and extra shower is very modern. There is a swimming pool and sauna available in the house, but we did not use it.
The breakfast buffet is extensive. I missed fresh buns because there were only baked buns. Since the hotel also houses a lot of fitters, one has to expect that at the next table people sit with dirty work gear, which sometimes also smells uncomfortable.
If groups of Asian holidaymakers come for breakfast, the buffet is limited, then it is advisable to have breakfast later.
The (evening) restaurant is in the house Sonnenhof. We have visited the restaurant once and cannot recommend it. Even the reception was not especially friendly and welcome. Although the ordered food came quite quickly, but for the somewhat upscale price I would have expected more quality and no fat-floating cheese noodles.

A hotel consists of two houses. The food link restaurant is delicious and corresponds to the value for money. The hotel is good the beds are comfortable. The sun dump has a pool in the basement. The breakfast is good. The friendliness of the staff is growing through.

Super! Almost every year in winter we are there. We'll be back for sure.

Terrible front desk staff, and extremely unpleasant. We had a dinner in the hotel, and the entire family got food poisoning. Regarding the room, for that price you can get so much more. I'm not recommending this hotel.

Awful place! we've spend a few days in this hotel, and we had a very bad experience. The hotel's staff was not friendly and weren't helpful (especially the male receptionist which had no costumer service / social skills), in a bad way, the room was way below expectations (when comparing to other hotels). Do yourself a favor, go to another place!

Very nice swimming pool and sauna area. Very nice staff. The rooms with bathroom have not yet been renovated. Very tasty and rich breakfast. Generally very clean and reasonable for the price.

Great hotel, familial atmosphere, friendly staff and super delicious food!

Reception staff is look down Asian so much. We were in the first time in Germany. I understand he's working in his own document. We've waiting for his help for long time and when he was ready to help he used the sound like annoyed us. Then finish and he walked a way even we said Thank you. Not recommend to Asian.

Nice cozy hotel, this hotel has 2 buildings but that did not stop us from enjoying everything it had to offer. From clean cozy rooms, to spa/pool and wellness area. Great buffet style breakfast to get you energy going for your adventures of the day and then an amazing restaurant for dinner with so many dishes. Biker friendly and it has car parking also. Thank you team Sonnenhof & Sonnhalde for making our stay wonderful. See you next time!

Two hotels operating as one; breakfast here, diner there. Friendly staff, clean rooms (economy room is very small). Base camp for trips into Switzerland.

Rustic restaurant with very friendly service and excellent cuisine. Solely because of the delicious food I would come again and again. Recommended is the plate of poachers and the Valentine's menu!

Very good, clean hotel with great rooms very comfortable beds – also for families very well suited.
Mini Golf nearby and hiking trails.
Carriage rides can be made and pine mill nearby with animals and a playground.
Great swimming pool, excellent restaurant, comfortable beds, super atmosphere!

Liked us very well. A great chef who can cook very well and a super nice team.
