Very nice hotel, friendly staff and athmosphere of old town. Perfect!
➜ Last Saturday, at a birthday party, I was invited to the Schiller restaurant and ate a la carte in a group of eight people.
On our arrival there was a group of very young ladies in front of the restaurant to prepare a reception for a silver wedding and the first impression as a guest was actually not a warm welcome for me, but I felt more of a disturbing factor.
There was no welcome by the staff, although we had also reserved for eight people as mentioned and the friendliness overall was limited to the most necessary on the rest of the evening.
As a starter, 5 of us had a colorful leaf salad with fried forest mushrooms, which was very good.
Me and two other people from our society had then chosen rust roast as their main course.
The rust roast could hardly be cut and was very tough.
After complaints, consultation with the chef was given and then told that everything had its correctness and had to be so.
After I have tried my meat in several places and also had other guests present try to let half of my meat go back, I have let go, that the cook should please get another picture.

Also highly recommended in times of lockdown. We had to eat the goose roast with red cabbage, dumplings and chestnuts at home. Super tasty!
