3 waitresses on 4 tables, yet slower and chaotic service (20 minutes after ordering we were advised that one of the hauot dishes is off). We were very pleased because of the good reviews and were disappointed. With the 5 appetizers at our table, each was insufficiently seasoned (even the pepper soup lacked pepper! ).
The hauot dishes came at the same time but unfortunately some of them were cold and there were not the indicated ingredients from the menu on the plate.
just a pity.

Decent rooms, good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

The building is located directly on the street, which means that you don't have a particularly nice view, but inside it looks very good and because the windows (the restaurant is almost like a complete glass front to the outside) are well insulated, the view doesn't particularly bother you. The food is very good in taste, but not super elaborate, which allows you to eat well relatively quickly and still get full. If you still want to eat a menu, you can come on certain days and enjoy a menu composed of dishes from a specific country. From my point of view, I can't say anything negative about the operation.

Quality of food is great. The operation is very competent and fast. The ambience is also very nice. Were at a wedding — everything actually fit. Can only recommend it to others.

A bit more upscale in terms of price, but always very convincing in taste. Very friendly service, very tasty bread as a small starter with delicious olive oil and refined sea salt. Good wine selection. We have never been disappointed here so far. Top!
Addendum: It happened more often that we ordered a glass of red wine or aperitif "blindly in confidence" and then presented itself on the bill with €9.50. I don't think OK! 9, €50 for a glass of open red wine doesn't go. Hence now a point deduction.
Addendum to answer: Please don't misunderstand. The wines are really excellent. Only a small hint of the operation would have been nice.

Excellent restaurant with excellent service, only recommended! We were on one of the (monthly changing) culinary journey and have experienced the stop Africa in January. Not only the dishes of the individual courses were a delight, but also the wines offered were perfectly matched to the dishes. Really a feast for the palate and very recommendable.

The hotel with African touch, is a good idea. The style is well taken, it's all in black and white style. The rooms are good and also the size is appropriate. The bathroom was newly renovated but unfortunately the exhaust air was very disturbing because it was noisy gequitscht. This problem is known to the hotel owner and only refers to the one room 11. There was no effort to remedy this, nor was there any compensation. The breakfast was OK, unfortunately no more, I would have found it fitting to offer some African exotic at breakfast.
This makes the hotel only to the outside African the fine sanding.
There is ample parking and public transport is also available to Mannheim or Heidelberg.

We like to visit this restaurant with guests. Friendly service and very good and varied food. Due to poor network connection, Wi-Fi in the restaurant is worth gold.

Decent Hotel with a great restaurant attached. Hotel Guests get 10% at the restaurant, which makes it an excellent value for truly great food (their olive oil is to die for).

It is a great place for staying if you have a car and you are driving to visit places in the area. The rooms are clean and big. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is reasonable.

We have about Easter in Felderbock checked in and a nice Easter holiday in Nußloch spent. The Hotel is the Hammer. For the excellent Service it gives us a whole 5 stars. Also the Breakfast was not more to beat. And the room service was always on the ball. Last but not least, there are of course 5 stars for the young, dynamic and absolutely friendly Felderbock Team. So who ever in the area around Heidelberg on holiday, and possibly Even a dog owner, I can the Hotel only recommend. We absolutely felt at ease. Nice, if you are immediately a "coming-home-feeling".

Good Wi-Fi connectivity. Good food. Nice view of nussloch hillock.
