Valdi is a family-run hostel and it is a spacious, old house in a really central area. The owners are amazing people who are happy to share their home, bread and love with their guests. Just stayed for a couple of weeks, and I am already looking forward to my next visit! Great for: — Finding some peace on earth — Restoring your faith in humanity — Easy access to restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and the Liberty Square Avoid if: — You can't live without first-world luxuries — You don't like babies, or people in general — You just wanna party all day, all night long.

Short and good — perfect living international atmosphere and nice hosts!

What you think of this place is very much depends on the type of traveller you are. I really loved it. To start with the downsides it's not overly clean, there is only 1 toilet and shower so there can be queues, the booking system is haphazard to say the least. 1 night I ended up sleeping on the sofa due to a mix up and during the day it's pretty damn hot in summer. So at this point you are probably wondering why did I actually like it? The answer is it felt like a home. You can never vouch for who stays in hostels and whether you will get on them but some places make it a lot easier than others. The family who run it stay here and they make you part of the family. Everyday I stayed herr people would make communal meals for everyone and you wouldn't have to pay or cook (although of course you should try contributing but point is nobody is checking up) We would have meals together, drinks together, go out together. As someone who travels solo this means far more to me then whether the floor is a bit dusty or bathroom floor is a bit wet. You may not share that which is fine but there are plenty of places to stay in Tbilisi. If you share my outlook you'll will enjoy here.

Extremely helpful people, not just looking for money. Good place if you like co-living and interaction. The yard inside is awesome.

The lovers, for someone can be atmospheric. But for the lover of comfort is not quite what you need.

Convenient location in the city centre. Public transport: buses on the Rustaveli Avenue and metro.

Extremely friendly people here, they helped us renting a car and gived us good counsel about visiting Georgia. Clean and simple rooms, lovely dog, and well located in Tbilisi.

Easy to stay. It is in the central of city near the opera. Friendly owner can suggestion for traveling to the backpacker. But it is no locker. I hope to stay there again.
