Not 5 stars but I don’t want to ruin the business.
Context: I selfishly put my stuff on a bed that wasn’t mine thinking that no one else was going to come. Apparently I cost the hostel business when two people came to have a look and turned away (I was out when this happened so the jury is still out on this).
Outcome: I said that I was profusely sorry, I didn’t mean for this to happen.
Although, the lady running the hostel took it too far. She didn’t stop yelling at me for 10 minutes even after I payed her an extra 35 lari. I’ve never met a hostel owner who is this GRUMPY. You made me feel truly unwelcome.
On top of this, all I could hear from upstairs was yelling from downstairs.
It might have been a bad day but hospitality was not being given this day. Even before the incident happened.
(For context if you’re reading, I wiped the tires of the bike before I wheeled it in. I needed to pack my bags and there wasn’t any other space to do it)

Very good experience, good value for money, we had breakfast with our stay and it was delicious and filling, close to centre and transport links, would recommend.

Great place — for this price it’s amazing that you can just walk into the centre of town in 15-20 mins (or a cheap bolt). I got a private room for just 35 lari!
The room I got was 2 single beds. Fan and power board available, with coat hooks, a couple of chairs, and window. Bathroom is basic, but it doesn’t need to more anything more, and it’s nice that the shower is separate from the toilet room.
The hostess is super friendly and helpful. Any questions I had she helped me out.
Also amazing big healthy, filling, and delicious breakfast freshly prepared for only 10 lari! The breakfast is in traditional megrelian style made by the lovely hostess.
