I booked two rooms through Booking. Com, and the reservation was confirmed – the confirmation emailed to me. For the first few days, communication with the owner was seamless. However, the day before my planned stay, I received a message from the host requesting a cancellation due to lack of room availability. This is unprofessional customer service – you book well in advance, and someone suddenly jumps your spot, or the reservation is canceled at the last minute.
