Hotel Cité

Just EXCELLENT! The hospitality is next-level. Kind, friendly and a warm welcome. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and the breakfast is super. For me a 10/10 and when i'm back in the area, I will stay here again!

This location is exceptional, a magic location. Especially for those who know and feel well what the Svetitskhoveli Complex is, what a historical place it is and what it means to the Georgian people. The house itself is nice. The owners are helpful and nice people. The rooms themselves are really cozy and nice, especially the very large room from the windows of which you can see the Cathedral Church. But all the rooms and the infrastructure in them require a complete renovation, especially the bathrooms. I know it's not easy for a private owner to do.

Could not have asked for better experience! Next to the cathedral and the owners are very nice. Highly recommend this for visiting Mtskheta.

Beautifully located property in a fantastic town, the surrounding area has incredible views, ancient buildings, delicious local cuisine, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was excellent, the room itself was large, well equipped and very comfy!

Breakfast is set so you eat what you like on your plate.
We spent 1 night here and for 1 night it is sufficient. Bathroom was ok, sleep quality not great due to the bed. Everything was a little worn out.
For the amount we paid I can't complain I guess.
Church is across the street, the main street a little further.

Very good hotel! Clean, cozy, good tasty breakfast and very nice, hospitable owners. Located in the very center of Mtskheta — the heart of Georgia! An ideal place to relax from the bustle of the city!

We stayed with our family for 2 nights, chose it based on reviews. We didn’t regret it and hope to come back someday. Incredibly friendly and hospitable hosts! Create an atmosphere of care and comfort! I liked the room, clean, everything you need, excellent bed linen, soft pillows. There is a common area with tables and a view of the monastery! We were lucky when we were there, there were few guests and we were relaxing on the tower alone) ) By prior agreement, the owners prepare an excellent breakfast! And they make very tasty coffee! I am writing a review in December, but we visited in June. Still the warmest and most pleasant memories!

It not really hotel more like hostel with dry walls between the rooms make it very noisy you can hear every chat and noise from other rooms and corridor, not real lobby very small, they do not accept card very not comfortable also in the room there is a stair not signed can be very dangerous and low ceiling. You can hear every step in the stairs.
Overpriced. As usual reviews in commission based platform are misleading like booking Agoda and Airbnb do not trust their bad services as they care only their commissions.

Hotel Cite is in the heart of Matskheta, right next to the famous monastery. We really enjoyed the surroundings: it was an old town, with shops and vendors located on the streets from early in the morning.
Hotel Cite itself is rather small. We counted 3 rooms upstairs. Our room accommodated 3 people, and it was very spacious. There was a sofa and a coffee table in addition to the regular table with chairs. Rooms were very clean and well-maintained.
Guests could also enjoy a single terrace at the property. It was small, but fitted 2 or 3 tables. The views were quite nice: of the monastery and the mountains in the background.
In order to park the car, you'd need to walk to the owner, so he can open the gates on the street. The owner will direct you where to park.
The area for breakfast is very small. The breakfast itself was nothing out of ordinary: rather small and lacking diversity of options. In a way, it was similar to breakfasts at American hotels, which we do not like.

The hotel is perfectly located — right next to the fortress wall of the cathedral. The small but cozy terrace offers an excellent view. We were greeted very friendly and told where we could buy what we needed and have a tasty meal. What I didn’t like: poor soundproofing of the rooms, very poor breakfast (cheese, sausage, yogurt and boiled egg). Payment only in cash. It's more of a guest house, there are only 3 rooms.
