Really great place, feels super cozy and homely. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, and very clean you notice it right away.
The hosts are amazing, very kind and warm people, you can tell they truly care about their guests.
The view from the terrace is just incredible, perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mountains.
There are also two dogs in the yard — Toby and Becky, super friendly and funny 😄 always happy, like they’re greeting old friends. And the cats are calm, chubby, and very cute 😀

We had an amazing time! The place was very cozy and comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. We absolutely loved our stay at Friendly Home in Telavi. From the moment we arrived, it genuinely felt like home, especially when the resident cats and dogs came out to greet us! They are incredibly sweet and can never seem to get enough cuddles and attention.
Guga is a fantastic host. He was always checking in to see if we needed anything and was genuinely happy to help. When we made a last minute decision to explore the outskirts of Telavi, he quickly helped us arrange transport. His background in hospitality really shows in the little details, whether it was offering us wine glasses, cutlery for our food, or simply making sure we were comfortable.
Our room was sparkling clean and cosy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept so well here. One of our favourite things about Friendly Home was the communal outdoor areas. Sitting outside in the cool air, surrounded by the garden and greenery, was such a lovely way to relax after a day of exploring Kakheti.
Most importantly, we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Guga’s family happened to be visiting while we were there, but they never once intruded on our space. Instead, we were always greeted with warm smiles, which made the whole experience feel even more like staying in a Georgian home rather than just another guesthouse.
Guga also speaks perfect English, so communication was effortless.
