Firstly, I want to say that Maria and her family are one of the friendliest people I ever met. Their hospitality is top notch. Upon our arrival they met us with 2 type of wine and 1 bottle of chacha, watermelon and peach! Believe me, these homemade wines are the tastiest wines you might ever taste! Maria and her son-of-law Zurab are ready to help you anytime shall you ask something. Secondly, the location and viewpoint from Maria's guesthouse is one of the best, if not THE best in an entire city. The view on Alazani valley is terrific! You will fall in love, undoubtedly. This scenery you will take through your life! Thirdly, the room is clean and decent. No any issues with cold and hot water. Each room is provided with A/C. You can also order breakfast, after which you will need to put some effort to get up from table) ) ) 'cause the portions are large and tasty! Moreover there is a terrace café next to Maria's house with even better view to Valley and also with a direct access to Ancient walls and Towers. Don't forget to have a dinner there, they cook very delicious meal, and as always very large portions! Overall if you are travelling to Signagi, then you definitely need to stay at Maria's.
