Only if I can give 10stars here 😊. Checking in is so easy even if we arrived late in the evening. Sweet lady Lamara was waiting for us and ushered us to the room. We have also met the owner of the property, Giya who always have fresh fruits for us everyday. Lamara also offered their homemade wine that tastes amazing. There’s a huge garden full of fruit bearing trees and vines. The room is spacious and clean. I wasn’t expecting that they have a mini pantry with microwave oven, water heater and fridge and it offers coffee and tea which is so convenient. The place is not so close to city center but you can find whatever you need around the area in a walkable distance. There are a lot of good places to go which is close to the guest house (Motsameta Monastery, Gelati Monastery, River Swim, Shota Springs, etc). I would recommend to rent a car though to explore more of Kutaisi. Parking space is available inside the guest house. The location is so peaceful and quiet and has a great view. I’ll definitely stay in Sofia Guest House again when in Kutaisi. Thanks Giya & Lamara for your hospitality and kindness.
The owner is super friendly and I felt very welcomed :) Rooms are clean, it has a nice outdoor space and a great view! Not directly in the city center, but also not far away from all important sights.

Wonderful guesthouse. The location is great, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Highly recommended.
