Extremely noisy suction-pump + broken windows. You cannot sleep well, for sure, during the day you should go elsewhere because the island is beautiful. Only positive for this accommodation that it is cheap. Dirty and old (and cheap).
The environment is nice, the ocean with sharks is very close.
This place is lovely, extremely clean, right on the beach, free kayaks and Wi-Fi, basic shared kitchen facilities.
Beware it is backpacker quality accommodation though, no hot water (but honestly we didn't need it), basic furnishings, shared facilities except for one ensuite room.
Great location, just down the road from some small supermarkets, a bank, and several snack bars/ restaurants nearby offering dine in or takeaway.
We were there in windy season but the beachfront rooms were surprisingly sheltered. The sea was not really calm enough to swim in most of the time though, and the noise from the waves at night eas loud, but fine once you get used to it.
Cindy, her son and the lady that cleans the rooms were all super friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Pension Plage Rangiroa for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience overall.
Cindy, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. I stayed in a room and had no complaints. The accommodation is very basic and simple, so it’s worth keeping expectations realistic. There is no kitchen available for guests to cook their own food, and having hot water would also be a nice addition. The property is generally in good condition, although a few things could be maintained a little better.
That said, the location is really nice, and the beach is amazing. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Rangiroa.
One of the highlights for me was the snack restaurant run by Cindy. The food was really tasty, portions were good, and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed it so much that it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the stay.
Overall, I had a good experience. It’s a basic accommodation, but the friendly owner, beautiful location, amazing beach, and excellent snack restaurant made my stay enjoyable. I would recommend it to travelers who are looking for something simple and affordable in a beautiful setting.
