Upper Normandy Hotels

Hotel La Berteliere is a very pretty hotel with flowers at the room window box`.

We have stayed before on our way to France and it was even better the second time round! We had a junior suite and the bed was comfy and the room spotlessly clean.

We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel de la Seine in Rouen and had a pleasant experience overall.

The room was clean, and everything was in order, so there were no complaints. The front desk staff was especially kind, offering a map, some local history, and great dinner recommendations.

I do not always leave reviews, however, credit where it is due.

Fantastic hotel, credit where it's due, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was bright and spacious which accommodated a family of 4. This will be are go to hotel when back in France.

We enjoyed this hotel. Prudence on reception was extremely helpful and welcoming when we arrived (6 rooms). The rooms were just right. We enjoyed the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

Nice hotel, though our twin room was a little small, only around 18 inches either side of the beds, and no mini bar. Breakfast very nice, staff very friendly.

The rooms are on the small side but well equipped. If you want more room book the superior rooms.

Right across the street from the train station. Easy walk to all attractions. Parking in the rail garage. Very good breakfast for only 10 euro. Rooms are not big but European normal. Very clean.

We stayed as a family of five in adjoining rooms as an overnight stop on the way to the Vendée. The rooms were nothing special, but perfectly adequate for a nights rest and the beds were comfy.

Campanile may be a simple style of hotel but this one proved to be perfect for our few days in Rouen. Sophie and her team were brilliant!

The hotel car park is very interesting, as it is beneath the hotel with a steep decent – certainly woke me up!

While touring Normandy my wife and I stayed here and it was a fantastic visit. The location was great (right across the street from Cathedral Notre Dame de Rouen) and the hospitality was amazing.

Prices are so reasonable and the service and food quality are exceptional! I ordered a dessert with apple and calvados after meal and it’s professional done!

Excellent hotel. Highlight was the staff! The beds were very comfortable — even the "sofa" converted bed was great and a good quality mattress.

Rouen was an interesting and charming city, with layers of old and new. There were plenty of interesting things to see and experience in the city and surrounding areas.

Stay here for a genuine Rouen French experience. It is an old historic building, with charming courtyard. It is wonderfully quirky. Rooms small and old but that is part of the charm.

I was travelling through France with 2 dogs on my own and so I was tired a hungry when I arrived. I was moved to a ground floor room for the dogs and the hotel staff made me feel very welcome.

We stayed one night and we were very satisfied. Our welcome was friendly and straightforward. Our room was compact but had everything we needed.

We have a holiday home in the Vendee, so we do the same route from the Eurotunnel a few times a year. We also drive a Tesla, so we generally stay at the nearby Novotel, where there are chargers.

After an expo in central France, we decided to stay here to overnight on our way to Calais because I'd stayed before and it was a good location.

The hotel is new, and the facilities reflect that. Everything seems on good condition, and the only weakness is the hellacious parking situation in the area.
