The setting is beautiful, the service is perfect and the dishes delicious.

Just paradise: swimming pool, spa, gourmet restaurant, park, river with canoe, rooms and very cozy décor.
Hotel — Relay of Silence. Discreet and adorable staff.

Welcome, very nice. Personal caring and listening. Clean, quiet, and cozy. Spacious room and well equipped if a little outdated but the location if ready. Succulent dinner.

For the good:
-very beautiful classic home very well decorated
-very beautiful garden
-bed and room XXL
-serve and welcome very well

To say the least:
-The indoor pool is a pataugory and is dangerous (walks inside)
-the outdoor pool is not heated enough.
-the buffet of breakfast is not worth the 19 euros
-value for money not incredible.

Beautiful setting, the flavors are there. Only downside, the passage of the leaf blower around 1 3:00 p. M. Not essential, given the tranquility of the place.

Very good restaurant, the dishes are delicious and the staff is very warm. They have a very nice property, the park is beautiful. And the spa is awesome!

Although as part of a gift bought on a specialized site we were warmly welcomed in this establishment where each room has its character, its décor, its own furniture.
The perfect dinner and breakfast, including the local cheeses, perfectly refined. The price is justified in terms of the performance: congratulations to the whole team, which we feel harmonious.

Very nice place. A journey out of time. The pleasant rooms, very quiet environment on this island. An excellent cuisine that turns your taste buds. I remember the poached pear dessert, a killing. And there's nothing better to start the day than a full buffet. I'll just have one note: put fresh orange juice and not an industrialist. This denotes.

We spent three days of dream after our wedding. Welcome, service, setting, restaurant, spa, everything was perfect! We will return with pleasure!

A lovely welcome, and that on the part of all the staff. Bucolic setting. Charming Castle.
The downsides, because unfortunately there are. A state of decrepitude that cannot go unnoticed. A slightly light maintenance (the curbstones around the indoor pool, a spider web in the door jamb of the bathroom). Honestly I don't want to be nasty but the breakfast coffee was mediocre. And small yogurts "The dairy" for a hotel of this range is average. On the other hand bread and pastries to fall!
So the site is beautiful, there is indoor pool and ext. Spa. Fitness room. Yes the decor is splendid, the rooms beautiful and the staff very nice. The problem is that for the asking price everything must be blameless. And that is unfortunately not the case.
Wonderful potential that only requires investment.
Unable to comment on the restaurant we did not go there.

Very disappointing hotel. The prices charged are exorbitant for the proposed service. Many opinions are wrong and probably written by the owners. The room 24 aait a musty smell, and the whole hotel is very nice. Only positive, the setting is charming but all the infrastructures are in a pitiful state, unworthy of a so-called 4 stars. The sauna and Jacouzi are charged… They must be booked 1h before to get started. The breakfast is very expensive for a pretty mediocre quality the tennis court is unusable. In short, it is a scam, to avoid.

For a lunch, we feasted. The staff were very friendly and professional. The kitchen was exquisite. We'd like to come back. The hotel has a certain charm.

The meal was excellent, it would really be difficult to say something else, the plates are decorated, refined, tasted, C is suculant the service is discreet and every table to its space if I lived ready, I will probably return more often
Hotel side everything was very good, the room, the bathroom, the bedding, nothing to complain J still have a small downside, on the obsolete of it, and a little disappointment on the complexity to be able this serve from my indoor pool, although I understand the problems of winter C is a very positive set.

To start the place: very nice park and remains but when you walk in the park you fall on sports equipment not maintained and in a very bad condition; Tennis with a ground totally destroyed by the roots, a net filled with mould and at the bottom of the island in the shelter of the eyes. Ping Pong Table in the same state (it is not because it is in winter that its should not be maintained) the park in a mediocre state also…
Let's go to the room: at the reception we are told that we are going to be upgraded (after waiting for room 1h) so we are delighted but once arrived in the room it is cold (heat and soil) No carpets, the bathtub with black hairs that are not ours, the Balneo that has that name because the Jets work but no pressure, lukewarm shower water and cold jets.
Breakfast in the room that arrives with scrambled eggs with less quantity…
The spa: From the outside everything was sheeted and turned off, so not very welcoming (we hesitated to stay in the hotel) we were told that it was for hygiene and keep the heat…
All outlets close to the ground and unprotected, circuit breaker in the Jacuzzi area without waterproof protection.

Restaurant OK but much too expensive for a menu at €45!
Nice outdated room in a slightly dark setting.

This is an excellent hotel, one of the greatest I've ever visited. First of all the staff is super friendly! The beautiful rooms are furnished with very comfortable beds. Another highlight is breakfast: BEST EVER! In addition to an expansive spread of pastries, cheese, cereal, fruit, etc. (and most items were portioned out into the cutest individual serving size glass jars), you could also pick from a made-to-order breakfast menu (egg dishes, meats, pancakes, etc. ). The staff in the breakfast room worked hard to please every guest. I wish I could have breakfast here every day. I loved staying here and we will go back soon.

The park/garden is really wonderful like the house. The staff is very kind and focused even if the lady owning the property is a bit too stressed… We really enjoyed the decoration anf the marvelous carpets as well as the size of the rooms and the high roof. The rooms themselves are also very nice even if a bit old fashioned. We were a bit disappointed by the restaurant especially knowing the whef has worked at the Crillon. Everything was good but average, very classic and not so well cooked, according to our tastes of course. So a very good journey there but still margin fro improvement.

Complete surprise: supplement of 60, 00 EUR per night without advising the client beforehand. Mentioned pretext: complete hotel and non availability of other rooms.
No daily replenishment of bath/shower products.
Impeccable kitchen but exorbitant price of drinks (example: Jack and Coke at 17, 00 EUR! ).
Promises not always required as the cups of champagne as a welcome or visit to a distillery included in the package.
Disappointment for this property.

Lovely setting (River, Park…) but arrived at the scene somewhat complicated. Indeed we arrived at 3:30, the hour at which we could recover the room however it still wasn't ready (we had to wait 1 h, with a cup of cider available but still).
Finally we arrived in the room, housekeeping was frankly not pushed to its maximum: dust, hair/hair on the bed, the bathroom over the bath not well washed glass. For 464 euros night expected when even a certain quality of service, especially for a hotel 4 stars!
We have of course cranky at the reception who gave us access to the spa and 15% reduction, but it is a pity to get there.
We recommend this establishment for its framework but we won't be back.

Atypical Hotel full of charm. Staff welcoming and attentive to customer. Nice setting for a romantic escape, booking massages a bit complicated because there is no staff on site. Excessive rate of soft drinks. Breakfast in the breakfast room.

Shameful, dear, and lousy breakfast for 18 euros, plus you will be charged innexistants supplements. As to the room a stench of upwelling sewer room bathroom joints rotten around the bathtub in the room smells of tobacco in tense tissue of the walls and the icing on the cake more of baguette for breakfast, because customers in would have eaten too much before our arrival. Short for 18 euros we don't have the right too much eating, knowing that we ask you 2 euros extra for an egg rooster and 6 euros for a slice of ham! Well Yes with an exorbitant price of 18 euros breakfast, finding a 4 stars who don't merit 2, very disappointed to avoid especially do not rely on photos! The stars have 30 years and shine more. If you want to dream a short stay, especially not in this hotel or the servers are dressed in black suit and basketball, the class and j forgot paid minibar but without lenses so have to drink or bottle in the glasses to teeth…

Amazing rooms, beautiful garden, and very attentive staff. The restaurant is incredible, as well as the swimming pools (specially the one indoors). Highly recommended.

Large bed and breakfast. French "chateaux"? Form over function. High price. Rooms are large and comfortable. Shower head is not fixed and is handheld, leading to wet bathroom every day. Breakfast is buffet, pretty good. Dinner has many courses and takes too long. There is a small, basic fitness room. Overall I prefer a simpler, more practical hotel located closer to Normandy beaches (my purpose for being here as part of a tour). Vicinity is isolated. Wi-Fi is very spotty. This review coming from a New Yorker.
