So we booked a room with bathtub and surprise there is a shower in the room. So we will ask lacceuil a room with bathtub as stipulate on our offer and the we are offered another room with bathtub but with 2 single beds.

Bof not up to a 4-star. Disappointed with the view from my room that overlooked a staircase. Very good restaurant on the other hand.

Les Deux Alpes is stunning but sadly the Hotel Mercure was very disappointing. It has to be the worst 4 star hotel I have stayed in within Europe. Absolutely no sense of luxury that you may expect with a 4 star hotel. Whilst our room was reasonably clean and the staff are helpful, the hotel itself is dated and seems to be stuck in a time warp with dark corridors. Our superior room was of a good size but sadly far from superior with woodchip wallpaper, shabby furniture and a strange orange pine, zig zag 'moulding' around the room. The shower gel dispenser falls from the wall on use, there was a scum line around the bath, the TV channel guide is pointless as nothing correlates and drinks are overpriced. One of the two lifts was out of order on arrival, which quickly became both lifts and so we had to navigate through fire exits to access the staircases and get between floors (awful for those arriving with lots of luggage). On a positive note, the parking is free and underground and so your vehicle stays cool.

That's great! Attentive and friendly staff of reception and restoration.

But what a disappointment, four stars? No, 2 at the most. Aging hotel, broken elevators. Staff not smiling and not competent in the image of the place! Noisy Room: (number 515), breakfast correct.

The hotel is not bad J liked the rooms and the slopes are just a side ski rental like Balneo cool.

For 6 years we had not returned a "refreshment" would be the good come but this hotel is still efficient.

Comfortable hotel close to the slopes but away from the resort center. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned. The reception is effective. The picture corresponds to the view from our room.

My experience at the Mercury of the Two Alps leaves me with a mixed feeling especially if I relate it to its 4-star rating. We were 4 half-board at 450/490 euros per day, for a week: even though I am of a very tolerant nature, I regret not having been more demanding this time in view of the budget invested and the stated standing of the establishment.

— The staff are generally professional, friendly and attentive. Nevertheless, it seems that there are many apprentices or beginners who are clumsy or show mood swings in the face of demanding or fussy clients — even if I don't like this type of client, the staff must be "marble" in all situations, especially in a 4-star-.
— The restaurant/buffet is ok but not sophisticated enough for a 4-star hotel — beautiful atmosphere. " Almost identical starters and desserts every day. Each dinner is around a theme: the dinner "seafood" is very successful, the theme "USA" is missed, "Italy" and "savoyard" are OK. Breakfast very well: fresh pancakes, eggs on demand; with fresh orange juice it would be top. Please note: lunch is not possible at the property. On the other hand, coffee machines — which make excellent coffee — are only active in the morning: why not in the evening as well?
— The furniture in the rooms is too dated — 80's atmosphere — even though the bathroom has been refreshed. Big beds. Good TV with Canal. Wifi OK. Separate toilet. Medium lighting. Few catches.

Very good family stay: Ski and relaxation at the rendezvous. Thanks to the whole team: at the reception, in the restaurant and in the room.

Probably the only positive thing! The rooms of this hotel are old and almost unsanitary, same for the bathroom or the ceiling crumbles. No sound insulation, we hear the slightest noise of the neighbor…!
No free parking available, however the hotel offers a sauna and billiards… Breakfast side for 7 euros, it is OK.

Good value for money, hotel not super recent and "in its juice" but clean and the staff is friendly. For a night or two it's nickel.

The Hotel is a bit vieillo, but a good quality. The rooms were redone, the staff is rather warm and in number.

We from 12 to 14/01/2018: We are disappointed by the configuration of the room for 4 people: we are 3 in one room and 1 all alone in the entrance. No intimacy possible. The breakfasts are plentiful and busy. On the service side, we wanted to book a one hour massage but the physiotherapist did not show up due to lack of communication with the hotel.

Very well I highly recommend very nice family.

The wash basin drain was clogged, the rooms looked old and creepy. Transportation needs to be improved The view was pretty good The staffs were nice and helpful There was no fridge in the room Reasonable price for the place The Wi-Fi is unreasonably slow.

Hotel Elderly But the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home, discreet the buffet breakfast and dinner, logically being Italians, you certainly expect something more. Located in a great location for skiing, a little less if you want to experience the town and the countless nightclubs.

Smallish room, eggs at breakfast were gross, but it is clean and the staff is wonderful.

Disappointing stay. Spent a few days at the mecure over New Years. The reception staff and bar staff were lovely and always had a smile on their face, which was great, but did not make up for the rooms, room service, breakfast buffet (or lack there of). I can't imagine staying there during high ski season!

We had a great weekend from April 1 to April 3, 2016. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, quality service.
Some accuse the dilapidated but hospitality, availability, the kindness and the professionalism of the staff make it a quality establishment.
As for restoration, Chief regaled us from breakfast to dinner.

Average hotel. Poor organization. Wiffi doesn't work in the rooms. Avoid.

Mountain hotel. Downside: no departure skis (1 min walk)

A little old hotel need a refreshment. The staff is friendly. The continent breakfast all the activity referenced by Accor. The room was small but functional however the household is not worthy of a mercury. There is a private parking not guarded free, but it is difficult to find the place
