What a fantastic place to stay. A very special family run warm hotel. Excellent professional staff, amazing attention to detail, perfect location for the slopes, swimming pool, shops. Quick bus service outside the door or lifts nearby hotel. The food was outstanding, beautiful presentation and just delicious. Thank you for making our holiday such a relaxing and special time.

skiing was good but the hotel was definitely the high point of my holiday.
Staff are super friendly, food is amazing (half board), the room is large, warm and clean; there is a lovely ski rental shop just next door. I couldn't possibly ask for better value for money. Thank you! ⛷️

Great place to stay. I have been there for La Marmotte weekend and I got an amazing room. Very good breakfast with astonishing view on the valley.

Great Hotel! Excellent service, wonderful view on the mountains. Rooms are very nice, enough space, good bed and very clean. Breakfast tasted very good en their was enough variety. Would surely go there again… :)

Nous avons séjourné une semaine et c’était notre deuxième séjour au Castillan. Emplacement facile d’accès pour les skieurs. Cuisine excellente et atmosphère familiale. Grande gentillesse du personnel et des propriétaires. Chambres très propres et confortables avec une jolie vue sur la montagne. Un excellent rapport qualité prix dans une station où le ski est un vrai plaisir, y compris pour les férus de pistes noires non damées. On reviendra.

The lounge/bar can be found to enjoy an aperitif accompanied by delicious homemade crisps spa area relaxing massages by Thibault and his recommended colleagues.
A great stay.

What a little gem! This is a traditional family run hotel full of charm away from the hustle and bustle of Berger. A warm welcome always awaits… this is our third stay. The food is wonderful, sauna and hammam are a relaxing end to a days skiing and the ski equipment and heated boot store is great. The hotel is situated 80 metres from the bucket lifts which carry you straight to the main lifts and slopes. Highly recommended.

A place very well located at an excellent value for money. Held by a young couple very welcoming the half board (which is not in my habits) with its cuisine surprising by its research and its quality makes this place a hotel that your detour for its price. I recommend.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast is also very popular before skiing. The hotel has a breathtaking view and it is pretty well located a few minutes from the center and 2 steps from a ski that gives us easy access to the resort.
Unfortunately the rooms are not well soundproof so you could hear the neighbors too well. Also the room had only one electrical outlet.
Our short stay at the hotel was nice and the staff responded very well to our questions. Thank you!

Great stay at the hotel Le Castilian. Nice location, close to the slopes, very nice view, nice room, very good and full breakfast, excellent restaurant, hammam and sauna perfect no complaints, staff available, smiling and pleasant!
Just a small flat, the rooms are not very well soundproof…
But I strongly recommend this address and would come back with pleasure on my next ski trip!

Great hotel! Very good value for money, the breakfast buffet is varied and good. I advise you the massages offered in addition, it was a moment of pure relaxation! A special mention for the staff very nice! premium!

The Castilian hotel is perfect for a family stay in Alpe d'Huez.
The host is very friendly.
The side mountain rooms are very quiet and clean. The service is impeccable.
All meals are of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet is abundant, very extensive, varied and delicious. Dinner is excellent. Favorite for the cheese platter. The cheeses are in the region and very generous portions. At the restaurant the quality of the food is perfect and the service is very attentive. The servers know how to adapt. Thank you!
The ski rack with heating directed inside the shoes is precious!
After the day of skiing on the slopes of Alpe d'Huez, the wellness area with sauna, hammam and massages is rejuvenating.
Sun and snow were to go for an unforgettable family vacation!

Yet once very happy with my stay at the Castilian with the same warm and benefits consistent with the level of this business.
My only comment would be the corner sauna and hammam that would be more "cocoon" that is to say with more subdued lighting and a little music report, and with additional rest loungers to become a little bit of happiness!
Do not hesitate, this is the right address to alpe to Boo.

Outside: the presence of a store to rent the ski on the ground floor of the hotel, is very APPRECIABLE. As for the lockers of the skis what happiness! everything is well thought.
the massage centre offers quality massages.
And finally the friendly service of the owners is IMPECCABLE.
Our only remark will be the size of the bed, which is too small because we used to much bigger beds

You feel home when you stay at this great family hotel. People are smiley, happy to help with any requests and very friendly. Facilities are great: the sauna and hammam are just delightful after a good day of skiing; the restaurant/food is top class (high and fine quality, just the right portions and very tasteful). The lounge and the bar are cosy with a 180 degree view on the valley. I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to spend quality time in a ski resort. The first ski-lift is reachable by just crossing the road.
