I would give 4 star if it wasn't for the very noisy drunken hotel guests shouting through the hotel at 4am. Despite asking them to remain silent, the noise continued for more than an hour. The hotel staff were fine but the bad behaviour of the other guests was disappointing.

A hotel that combines professionalism with quality services. In addition the owner and staff are very friendly.

We stayed a few days with our grandchildren at the Squirrel that we have known for several years.
This family-run hotel is very well run. The reception is friendly and the rooms comfortable. It is located in the center of the village and however very quiet. The breakfasts are excellent and the homemade jams and cakes are delicious.
A house as we like with a lovely owner, friendly staff and a big Zen dog.

Arrived today for 2 nights. The hotel looks nice from the outside however the bedroom we ended up in was totally different from the images on the site. The first thing we noticed was the sewerage smell from the room on entering it was over powering. The room was small with dirty walls and the bathroom is tiny and could do with a clean. When we went to the reception to complain about the smell there solution was to cover the room with air freshner wich lasted about 5 mins. Now we have to sleep with the window open in the freezing conditions.

We returned once more to L'Écureuil this year and found it as charming as ever. The room was small but everything was there. Lovely crisp white bed linen on a comfy bed, nice fluffy towels rather than the thin ones you normally get in hotels, and a very efficient shower. Demi-pension is very good value. We had almost the full choice of what was on the à la carte menu for dinner, and breakfast was varied and ample. The service was impeccable and friendly. We will be back, hopefully next year!

Very pleasant chalet style hotel with fine dining.

The rooms €160 do not correspond at all to the photos of the cite the one assigned to us is barely 9 m2 it was necessary to let the water of the shower run during 7mn to have hot water the cleanliness leaves to desired c is not a 3 star it is a Formula 1 The restaurant seems nice but I did not try I advise not to flee!

We were very well received, we listened, we ate well, and the night was quiet.
We will go back with pleasure.

Good reception, cosy room, just do not forget to open the heating otherwise it is the North Pole.

Service was good, staff was friendly. Rooms on top floor were not heated as they should. It was cold in the room and they do not provide a mobile heater. Central heat doesn't work very well and it can be really cold inside the room during the night.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the resort.
