The room was comfortable, but there were some details that let it down — a chip in the sink, some dirt on the floor, shower door didn't fully close, things that had previously been broken having a quick fix. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was of good quality, but not a lot of variety. Shower quality was good, Wi-Fi speed was excellent. Good location to explore Antibes, 10 minute walk to beach through the idyllic town.

Very comfortable bed, friendly staff, and awesome location in Antibes. We had an issue entering the parking garage, however the front desk staff was very proactive and friendly. They took care of it immediately. Would definitely return!

My wife and I regularly take short holidays so we have considerable experience of hotels, their facilities and staff. We both feel that La Place in Antibes is one of the best places we have stayed at, the staff were excellent at all times, the room was spacious and clean, The Bathroom was also spacious with a roomy shower, modern and very clean. We stayed 6 nights and overall was one of the best holidays we have had.

It is a really nice hotel, very good located. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and leaves no wishes unfullfilled. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Really nice Hotel, perfect location, downtown but quiet. In a period building, a few rooms decorated in a modern style with a lot of taste. There is no lift, so if you are older or have trouble doing the stairs ask for a room on the first floor.
Ours was on the third, but even with a little girl was not a problem, indeed I served to make movement! :-) Staff all very kind and professional, Bernadette and Cinthya and Federica are very good, even the other girls all very kind and ready to give help and information. Breakfast of excellent level, the dehor from the afternoon functions as a lounge tea-room, and in this period is decked out for Christmas, in a fine and true taste. Superb hot chocolate and great coffee. Great room, great bathroom spectacular shower. Missing the. Minibar but you can ask for anything at the front desk.

Excellent place for a Belgian hot chocolate and a gateau or two. Good service and well-cared for interior. Not cheap.

Very nice hotel and great stay. Recently remodeled and nicely updated inside. Modern bathrooms. Excellent location in old city and walkable to everything. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. For convenience there is a coin laundry around the corner and a cinema across the street which we understand runs some movies with English subtitles. We enjoyed having a glass of wine in their own little bar off the lobby. They also do a daily breakfast buffet there for €14. Very nice place and would love to come back again. Only negatives are no elevator, which I knew coming in, and some street noise due to it being directly on the street and right by the bus station. But location otherwise was perfect. We did use their car service to the airport. Just be aware that the €50 fee advertised goes up to €65 if the ride is after 8 pm and before 7 a. M. Both Uber or a taxi would have been much less, we learned after the fact. Owner offered to reimburse us the difference which we appreciated but did not accept. Anyway, lovely place, nice staff and very nicely redone. You will be very comfortable here and you can’t beat the location.

We enjoyed our brief stay at La Place. It is perfectly located for exploring Antibes — the market and the Picasso Museum were our main interest. Our room was quiet, although very small — we were unable to fully open the wardrobe door. The bathroom was small but well equipped. We did not have breakfast as we had a very early morning flight from Nice airport and had to leave before breakfast. The lady on reception desk is delightful: very welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic. If we were going to Antibes again we would probably stay at La Place again, however the lack of elevator is a drawback. No onsite parking, but there is a parking station nearby, which was easy to get to.

We were really glad to end up here for our stay. The hotel staff provided wonderful assistance during our stay — walking/transit directions, dinner recommendations, and beach recommendations. We really hope to go back to Antibes, and if we do make it back, we will definitely stay here.

We loved everything about the hotel! Bernadette and her staff are wonderful and service-minded people, very helpful and cheerful at all times. The room is comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The hotel is centrally located with quick access to the town square, the shops, the beaches, etc. But without all the noise. We thank Bernadette for recommending Cottard Patissserie to us. We went there nearly everyday!

I highly recommend La Place as a home away from home! Everyone was so welcoming and helpful — we loved our week long stay! The staff are more like family that care for you so very well. Always ready with a smile and genuine care for what you need — from a beach mat and umbrella to a late night cafe. The location was central to the places we travelled throughout the week making it an excellent home base. The rooms were very clean and the bed was one of the best I have ever experienced in my travels. The lovely terrace was where we began our day with delicious local breakfast fare and where we gathered for a late afternoon snack. Bernadette, the owner, had so many great suggestions for things to do close by and for day trips — she never ran out of great ideas! Many thanks to all who served us so well!

A special thanks for your concierge service in making our stay in old antibes and our side trip to the Valensole lavender and sunflower fields and our one night stay at chateau Trigance a lifetime memory. your restaurant recommendations were spot on in that we experienced true french culture and fabulous cuisine. We were pleasantly impressed by the room, finally a large room and a cozy bathroom, something that is not easily found in France.

A very nice Hotel, right in the middle of Antibes. Everything can be visited by foot. The rooms are very clean and tasteful, with super mattresses. The Breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful. Clearly, Bernadette, the owner, also a native German, is Yes… I've seen the staff only friendly faces, and that's simply very enjoyable, especially here in France. I can recommend the Hotel only.

I just have to say that I've stayed in many hotels during my adult lifetime — this is one of my best experiences! The staff is simply amazing, the interior, the food and the positive energy just makes the stay a life time memory. From the moment we checked in we felt as a part of the "La Place family". Already at day two's breakfast the staff knew our wishes without asking. My friend and I decided straight away: We'll be back! … If you need to recharge and relax — this is the place! Loved my whole stay and can't wait to return to La Place and wonderful Antibes Je suis tombé amoureux!

Perfect hotel to stay in Antibes and close to the bus station to explore other villages along the coast. The hotel itself is very modern, great staff and service. They also help organizing trips or give good advices. I can highly recommend this hotel!
