➜ The hotel is good in itself. The reception is professional, the room (upper studio) is clean and spacious, the bedding is just perfect. No real negatives about the hotel other than the fact that there is no night receptionist, which can be a problem when a problem arises after 10pm and no oven or washing machine in the apartments (a paid laundromat is at layout but not laundry and during our stay 1 machine out of 2 was out of service) more, a spreader would be welcome in the apartment as well as a clean sponge for the dishes. But the only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel is for its location. There is absolutely nothing to do near the hotel. Fortunately, we were conveyed and were able to visit the surrounding towns which are beautiful (Pornic, La Baule, Noirmoutier, St Michel chief chef,. ). The corner where the hotel is located is a bit creepy, the only people we met in the area were alcoholic people and/or doing the rounds. This gives a rather special atmosphere to the city. It's a shame, the hotel is fine but without a car our stay really wouldn't have been pleasant.
➜ Very well. A stone's throw from downtown. Direct parking for accommodation at 5 euros. Between 15 and 20 km of guerande and other villages to visit. Very convenient drop-off point to visit the region.

Rates are fluctuating. Today the studio is at 90.35 euros a night plus 9.00 for breakfast. Definitely interesting for construction workers and people on the move. But, for the others. It's overpriced! And with a lot of snitms: no more reception after 22:00! So forget about late arrivals! The gestapo makes you fill out a file with your contact information, without mentioning the French law of 1978, or that of 2018, on data protection? Ditto, are you being asked to show iD? Common practice in all European countries, but atypical in France!
