All around this Mare of character, small, large, always surprising birds, from the hen hairball style to the crane and its punk cut… We get caught up in the game of slow life, the time of a stay out of the ordinary. This hotel, which is a must-see in its quiet and elegantly decorated rooms at its 1-table.

Discovery menu: ramp-up throughout the 7 dishes on offer. Some improvements would be welcome: a little waiting at the beginning of service, last glass of wine as part of a. Food and wine pairings unexplained or named…

Great time in this restaurant that deserves well its star. From the Welcome to the kitchen nothing to complain about except may be thinking about going back.

Despite an extraordinary setting we came out of the restaurant telling us that we would never go back again. As far as service is concerned, there is a noxious atmosphere, a lack of communication, of team cohesion, of natural, of lightness. For example, a server forgot to serve us a sauce then when another server came to take the dish they realized that we had not explained what Lon ate and that the sauce had not been served… he dared to say "don't start Ava dishes. That we are told and not to assume his mistake… to choose the dishes they just put a tablet on the table with the menu incomprehensible without explaining the dishes… Finally, there is no server referring to the table, we've seen 5 or 6 different and never very nice. They do not seem to be very comfortable in their environment. It lacks people of experience, who mastered the service. There are too many employees, young but not qualified enough. The recruitment of the team is to be reviewed I think.
Then at the level of the kitchen, the products are of quality but we do not feel bcp the originality, C is very classic. It lacked freshness. The only positive was the dessert which was very worked out, beautiful rendering and good.

Excellent from the appetizer to dessert, I recommend l between two to the fourme of Ambert to the sweet name of Chocotruffe.

The correct service set aside a waitress with her lace cleavage, pity that the staff are not dressed in the same way! The young sommelier very well with a blind tasting, the Lotte was very good the pigeon was a little pink…, the original but sickening Chocotruffe, and followed by the white Chocolate mango, both cumulated too sickening and too sweet. But a pleasant experience.

Very disappointed for a meal of Christmas Eve, on the kitchen side, the chef has gone too far in the search for originality to destroy the pleasure taste: too much molecule has our taste. The cocktail in aperitif was too sweet, undrinkable, we made the remark but it seems to annoy them more than anything else, we wanted no more but they still forced us the hand by reporting the same glass with, I imagine, a little water to soften the sugar, a joke for this kind of establishment. Not to mention the service side, it is mediocre see non-existent, the waiters talk and laugh while we take our meal right next door, the opening of the bells was hardly synchronized, the cutlery were not changed between different services… finally Total indifference to our opinions about the meal, the only thing they will want to do is maybe close the door and go home. To sum up, a place to avoid absolutely despite its Michelin star, we ate in gourmet restaurants without star and those with 4 stars but never had this kind of bad surprise. A good chef? Not sure, but surely a good commercial. What a pity.

An invitation to travel, a mixture of flavors, a place out of time where you do not come out unscathed. Thank you to Chef Guerin, his brigade and his staff in the hall! A feast for the taste buds…

We were greeted by the chef's smile in person, then the butler invited us to follow him to the garden. We walked through a quiet restaurant with refined decoration, besides it is this adjective that sums up our lunch. We ate in the shade of a mulberry surrounded by birds including a magnificent crowned crane. Then the dishes arrived, served by smiling and professional staff, our sommelier who told her wine more than she spoke of, our waiter who knew how to put us at ease thanks to her spontaneity. Each dish told a different story, each flavor became singular by the mixture that the chef had created. I will not reveal anything about the dishes, they are to be discovered and I invite you to do so, fear not, it is divine. It is a taste journey, an explosion of flavour in the mouth in a green setting. What if it was just a taste of paradise!

The reception is very friendly, the rooms are very durable and the restaurant: Hummmm. The setting is ideal: calm, restful, beautiful! Out of season, possibility to have ' stage ' evenings (room + meal) at a much affordable price for the hotel/Resto (€135).

I find the friendly setting and the staff too but the prices are excessive for the restaurant. Too many mixed flavors that want too new cuisine so trendy by snubbing. Blah blah.

We have been very well received. The delicious meal. Excellent wine. They're in a little care. The price is really prohibitive but you have to do it at least once.
At the end of the meal, since we did not want a hot drink we were offered to take our mignardises in a take-out box … we were amazed when we opened it. It's so well done that it's worth eating it.

Unforgettable
A wonderful stay in a idilique and soothing setting to let yourself go and carry in a space of relaxation and culinary pleasure with dishes all more delectable than the others. A real journey and a real moment of happiness.

Twice we stayed in the cottages near the spa. Twice we were blown away by the standard provided. The cottages were very comfortable and refined. We loved the restaurant. The bare tables, sans linen, looked amazing. A snazzy seasonal cocktail kickstarted an amazing dining experience. Definitely 2 star standard. Cannot wait to return!

For the restaurant not great thing to say. Special flavours, of discovery with noble products and quality. On the other hand the hotel… I'm talking about the room € 165 we had, it's not very big, rather standard, the room is not extra (restaurant and kitchen below), we had a small problem of heating (hot pipes and not very sound, it happens unfortunately) however the framework is really good and I think the interest lies in the jacuzzi and spa (as it did not in fact…). I think that it must take a superior room or enjoy the spa to "monetize" the price of the House… Otherwise the cock at 6:30 in the morning for 2 hours it is nice, unless you want to sleep (the charm of the countryside ;-) Very good breakfast (fresh), but at € 20 per person I m expected a bit more choice. In short, beautiful setting, very good dinner, but the value of the room is not top.

A very nice place a little lost in the middle of the marshes, a warm, well equipped and tastefully decorated rooms but above all a table that worth the trip: Eric Guérin's personal and inventive cuisine!
We will return in summer discover the marais under the Sun.

Site with lovely decor. Snack worthy of mention, the dados of sepia. Tasting menu very worked, very successful, the time well measured, in short a place totally recommended.

Very quiet and relaxing. Very large room perfectly equipped. We appreciated the small lounge with its fireplace and birds to keep you company. One star extra to the Baker for his creativity and the Cook to cook perfect fish and meat. Pity that the spa is not hot enough.

We will keep a very good memory of our stay. Outstanding food, warm, and impeccable service, great professionalism, and this that we enjoyed, it is that everything happens in simplicity and ease, we were very comfortable… Don't change anything, we will be back, the head (and the team) deserves the star. A big thank you.
