The first time was terrible. Then Mercure took it over and is now a regular on my list ☺

Quiet hotel in the centre of the historical center of Lille. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, I recommend the Backhouse 100 meters away, they got delicious burgers and drinks. Breakfast is good, rooms clean and personal very friendly and welcoming.

Ok, rooms are a bit on the small side and very warm. Could not turn down the temperature, I also had colleagues staying there and had the same issues.

Very well located, not really cheap, but all the "old" Lille is within walking distance and the staff is really available, breakfast paid (as often apart) but hearty and quality.

On arrival in the room, sinister discovery: Traces of urine in the sheets… I share it with the staff who gives me another room, smaller, with two small beds instead of a large one. Not to mention the smell of sewer that seems to emanate from the landing… Anyway, for €200 at night it's unacceptable. I will never go back.
And the breakfast is pretty shabby considering the rates.

Hotel well placed on the top of the old town. Quick access to the shopping streets and the many accesses to the Ve'lille. Nice common areas. The rooms however require to be renovated. Very uncomfortable bedding, pillows to change. Friendly furnishings. Bathroom too "cheap" for a 4 * with in our room smells of sewer. Breakfast correct but again little worthy of this standing. The staff are however very smiling and very available.
Very customary of the Accor chain, I was disappointed with it. The one in Nantes for example has been redone with the same codes but gives a much nicer and more chic result.

Located in the old Lille, close to restaurants and the train station Lille Flandres. Despite a lack of charm of the lobby, not worthy of a four star hotel le p'tit lunch is still correct, the furniture basic. A little cramped to cross in the room the property remains correct. Reception staff courteous. The price / quality ratio remains in the average. The price of parking remains high. Hotel for an overnight stop.

A superb location for this hotel with private parking in the old Lille place rare.
A very good welcome, a quality to the height of my expectations in suite on a super inner courtyard.
The fit is strongly to advise.
I will return to this establishment without hesitation.

Small rooms, as usual for a central city hotel, good central location, but difficult to navigate to if driving yourself. Street noise from outside high.

The reception at the front desk is not friendly, the room was really very small. Too bad the bathroom's in the shower room. It said nothing to say about cleanliness in the room, everything was nickel.

Great for exploring Lille. Located right in the old town near all the restaurants.

In the cold weekend in Lille we have inherited a small room so called privilege with a large bay window with view on a wall… difficult to heat the air passes at the level of the aluminium studs of the windows… in short No 4 stars for heating…
Breakfast Buffet OK without more… no grapefruit juice as in other mercury and few choices of breads or pastries we will not return…

No frills, functiinal. Smaller than average rooms with 70s decor.

A very disappointing stay. Not a 4 Star Hotel, more of a 1 star experience. Horrific reception service -Tried to charge us twice for our room. — disgusting smell of drains in our room — shower didn’t work — no apology from staff in fact he walked away from us while we expressed our dissatisfaction — very rude staff — will not be staying here again or recommending it.

Modern hotel well situated near to the main area in Lille containing the best restaurants, bars. Easy access to the old town and main attractions, 10 minutes walk to main railway station. Quiet area, large rooms with good showers and air conditioning/ heating. Friendly service, good value for money if you book in advance. Haven't had any bad experiences staying in Mercure hotels.

Very correct, this Medium-range hotel offers covered parking (€15).
It is located in old Lille so traffic is not easy but the neighborhood is Touristy.
To eat you have to go and get a restaurant in the street of Gant next Door. The staff at the hotel is friendly and the rooms are very decent. In short I advise.

Just completed a weekend bed and breakfast trip at this Hotel to partake in the annual 'Braderie'. Easy location to find from Eurostar Lille Europe. Very helpful friendly and informative staff. Rooms excellent. Very surprisingly a regular English breakfast as well as the traditional continental breakfast. I think this is a Northern French thing as i'm more used to the South of France cuisine. But shall return annually to Lisle for the 'Braderie'. Highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice decoration and comfortable room. Only black dot: works that start a little early.

Well placed hotel in the centre of Old Lille. All the staff met was charming and considerate. The negatives: Close parking spot, difficult to get out of his car when it is wide, do not take duplex room-mezzanine qd It is hard to walk: the toilets are downstairs and you have to go up to wash your hands, qd turn on the light to Get off at the WC (at night) the whole room is turned on and the spouse is embarrassed. The points +: comfortable bed, breakfast plentiful, nice lounge area qd We do not want to lie down immediately and want to discuss, watch TV, read… there is a small fridge.

Nice hotel in the centre of Lille, about 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station. The rooms are clean, modern and well furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Hospitality at the start what can I say… PERFECT! Exceptional bedding, refined décor of the room. Reception at your service at any time. Parking more than practical. I you Council at all!

Tidy room. Fab shower. Within walking distance of train station. And city centre. Continental breakfast. Staff ok.

A little disappointed for a hotel 4 stars… small room, tiny bathroom without talking about the size of the toilet, the knees almost touching the door… a bit limited. Forced to be dry hair ds room… lack of brightness or bedding very comfortable and the staff very friendly.

Charming hotel on the Grand Place. Not usually inside and deco. Worth the money.

Hotel very well located (barely 10 minutes from the train station Europe). Good breakfast, very good. The Standard room is very small and the bathroom. Too bad there is carpet in the room (nest at dust! ). Clean leaves to be desired. This hotel does not deserve 4 *.

Heating not working in the room — very rude reception staff did nothing saying the hotel was fully booked. Worst Mercure experience anywhere in the world.

Perfectly positioned in Lille making just about anywhere easy walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and the staff friendly.

Spent 3 nights here on a business trip in a high-ceilinged, spacious room with huge mirrors and 2 balconies. The furnishings weren't showy, but they were comfortable and (unlike most hotels) somehow allowed me to keep my belongings organized and within reach. Breakfast is quite nice, more heartier central European style (soft boiled eggs, granola, dense breads) than French. A 10 minute walk from the the TGV station. Only complaint is that the Wi-Fi was extremely flaky (though it was free since the system was being upgraded).
