Pleasant for partying but the night is to be avoided!
You'll sleep with dead or living insects (at your convenience) and with dirt stains on the sheets and on the floor! I've never seen that anywhere else! At lower prices you can really find better!

At the reception, they are sorry for us! Which is heartbreaking for them! In short we're sorry to put such a bad rating.

A hotel hidden away in Cambrai. The breakfast was ok, but it’s not included in the price for the room. I stayed in the ”Orangerine” part of the hotel. The room didn’t have any AC, but a floor fan. The main building is very nice and fulfills the ”Chateau” expectations, both inside and outside.

Great beds. Especially the option to book extra-large beds are a rare option in hotels that I highly appreciate being a tall person. The Chateau is situated in a huge park, making the surroundings totally quiet. You have the choice to stay in the Chateau itself or — a little cheaper — in the Orangerie, which is located only a few meters to the left of the main entrance. The Prestige Rooms are really large and all rooms very nicely equipped. Another bonus is the great restaurant in the cellar of the Chateau. A bit on the expensive side (you can easily pay the same amount for two people dining as you have to pay for the room), but totally worth it. The waiters there were very friendly and helpful. If you bring a dog, you need to stay in the L'Orangerie, because they are not allowed in the Chateau. When we sat without our dog in the restaurant, which is located in the cellar of the Chateau, we were a bit surprised to see another guest walk in and sit down at a table with his dog unchallenged. So the rules seem to be a bit fuzzy. The only thing I missed is a terrace to sit outside and maybe some place with deck chairs to enjoy the lovely garden on warm days. So if you want to stay there a night to rest before you continue driving to the coast, this place is perfect. If you want to stay there for several days to relax, I wouldn't be so sure, what to do there exactly.

Good meal. Nice room but disappointed with the quality of the desserts. The strawberry was not one had much too much the taste of gelatin.

A nice setting to a hidden gem in the Cambrésis home very friendly and very excellent meal and very good service.

They did really well to renew the hotel. The beds are very large, the 2 people who make the reception are very nice and very close to the public. The restaurant is really a "must", price-quality very good. The only small thing to say is that the same is in the basement and no direct lights, but there they also put plants.

However, we had a welcome cocktail party that we request at the reception, and the "alcohol with fruit" was a vodka and orange very busy… on the map of the restaurant, the champagne coupe is the same price, and clearly we would have preferred… it was a weekend with a smartbox.

Great place where the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well cared for, despite the sometimes slightly ageing equipment (heating, lights). Breakfast is really hearty and quality!

The park creates a haven of peace or it is good to walk the staff is friendly and attentive the restaurant is a very good table to discover.

The prices of the sound card worthy of a high-end restaurant but the quality of the kitchen is not there.

Nice staff, excellent service, very clean. Romantic and glamourus-decadence ambiance. Large outdoors to enjoy. We spent a couple of night with the whole family and we all enjoyed it very much.

Very nice meal with view on the racetrack, as part of an outing of our club Mustang. Very neat meal!
And we had the pleasure of riding with our Mustang on the track at the same time as the horses! A unique moment in a lifetime!

In the middle of its park the Château de La Motte Fenelon is an oasis of calm and rest, among other ideal in time as step, personally for the second time. The staff are qualified, competent and friendly, the rooms of different categories are comfortable and not lacking in anything. In my opinion, the restaurant, which I personally advise, offers a very good cuisine and has a good diversified cellar. In total, a place very nice and recommendable, with a very good value for money.

A traditional hotel. Comfortable with a friendly atmosphere. In need of some updating and redecoration in places but charming and we will be bringing a large family party to the hotel in 2018. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Good service and a comfartable room in a historical environment. The area outside the castle grounds wasn't the most inspiring but the nice town of Cambrai is quite close.

The reception staff is amazing extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are perfectly located in a green and quiet area. Perfect to park the car. I can only highly recommend this hotel and amazing staff.

Our wedding went very well at the chateau de la motte fénelon. We would like to thank all the staff that was adorable. The service was perfect and the food delicious. All the guests were delighted. I recommend it to everyone. At the top.

Nice historic building where you can stay. Unfortunately my room on one side from which the night come noises for an industrial facility. Good restaurant inside, sophisticated and medium high prices.

Stayed here for three days whilst in Cambrai area. Garden rooms a little old fashioned now but clean and tidy. Very quiet grounds perfect for a good nights sleep. Kettle in room which is a bonus in France! Cannot comment on food or other rooms as we ate out. I would certainly stay here again if in the area.

If you're looking for a Chateau experience, this is the place to stay. Very unique cozy rooms with lots of charm and character. Rooms are not modern, except the bathrooms are up to date. I would also try and make sure your room is located within the Chateau, they have other buildings on site, but the Chateau is connected to everything. The restaurant below the Chateau is a MUST try — great dinning experience as a couple or with co-workers. I tried an appetizer, main course and dessert. Shrimp, Duck and chocolate cake — phenomenal and the right portion size. Staff is always on site and very friendly. Breakfast in the AM is very good and excellent service. Also — don't forget to enjoy a drink in the lounge rooms. Oh — Internet was working just fine, Parking was very accessible and located on site.

Extremely nice and professional, home to the phone at the front desk. Many buildings around the property but once in the vast and beautiful park, we forget. The room in a bungalow of the Park was well large, spotlessly clean despite a small smell of damp, simple, a bit impersonal, all white. Problem with Wi — Fi but it lent us a cable. Electric heaters were quite obsolete but we got hot. Good bedding. The breakfast is really good. Nice choice of quality products served in a buffet in a room of the Castle by a staff always as perfect and warm. An excellent quality-price for this room in a place that really has a lot of charm!

Superb, very well maintained property. Broad Park where children can play safely. The Castle and its rooms are a splendour for the eyes. Grand and yet intimate (breakfast).

Following a room which suited us not the hostess offered us a room in the Castle without supplement, wonderful room and staff very professional. An excellent night stayed in a framework and a high quality comfort. Thank you for your knowledge do.

We were looking for a place where power rest… and it's you that we found it. During our stay of 6 nights, we were able to enjoy the calm of the Park and the room located on the edge of the Woods.
The reception was very nice and, from the first contact, we felt confident.
Solid good breakfast occasionally out of one or the other food, fortunately without consequences for a good Eater like me.
Just a little tip: ensure dust, mainly under the bed, as well as in one of the corners of the bathroom (son and… dead spider).
Conclusion: we recommend this place to anyone looking for the tranquility and the discovery of a region all little known, except for their nonsense.

It is a lovely hotel with very nice friendly welcoming staff. We stayed in a garden room which was good with the children. Finding the hotel however was difficult and sign posting could be significantly improved as the location is not intuitive.

To be a guest in a hotel together with a wedding party is not really recommended.

Simply great place to stay and walk around.

Superb place to stay, staff were excellent in all ways. Easy to get to, food superb, will visit again.

Friendly and capable reception team, elegant cool gardens, beautifully furnished with antiques, clean and comfortable bedroom, bathroom and bed linen. Good breakfast spread in very elegant dining room and superb a la carte in quiet restaurant overlooking the gardens. Only drawback is that it was difficult to find, even with satnav, but well worth the effort.

Beautiful setting, after versailles that we had the chance to have was just sublime, small flat, however, the bathtub was too small for two, too bad.
The restaurant was delicious, very rich and very warm and friendly service.
Breakfast was a bit basic I found but all products (croissants, pain au chocolat, baguettes, fresh squeezed orange juice) were very good. Small flat on chocolate served with a sachet of powder to be same in milk hot, I quibble, but I find it less class qd only served in the Cup.
Otherwise perfect service. You could even make the room at 3 pm the day of departure instead of 12: 00 on request.
I recommend this place for a little quiet romantic weekend.
