Like the whole Ibis chain, decent value for money. The only sin the shower without curtain or closure, directly in the bathroom with result that gets wet everywhere. I only found them in Malaysia but I paid 10 euros to sleep in three and not 78 euros in two. A receptionist speaks a little Italian, a rare pearl in France.

Very pleasantly surprised to have the baby bed ready on arrival knowing that I had not asked for it I had just specified that there was a baby.
Room clean and comfortable and quite sitinous.

Good value for money, the space of the room is optimized to the maximum. One could be faulted for the lack of a separate bathroom from the rest of the room.
The staff are nice, the breakfast is cheap and very good.
For those who wish to eat nearby, the hotel gives a 15% discount voucher for the short straw (which is also very good).

+ had air con which was nice to have and the windows open fully which is great! Staff are friendly. — small room, no kettles to do babies bottles, shower could do with being cleaned better (pink scum around the sides.

Optimal — use Ibis for the d-day vacations. You are optimal inside all interesting historical places.

Rooms are utilitarian but spotless! Continental breakfast is fresh and there's lots of choice. Staff are really welcoming. Great value too.

Nice surprise with a warm welcome. Our dogdogs are accepted and this is a plus. The city's eccentric is finally fine, more greenery and the restaurant next door is perfect. We will return.

Very reasonable rate. Steakhouse restaurant adjacent to hotel. Secure parking lot. Comfy room.

A solid value. Will stay again when in need of a simple place to safely sleep. We were dining through the area, saw this place online, and decided just to pop in to see if it looked someplace we wanted to stay. First impressions (which turned out to be correct) were of cleanliness, minimal fuss, simple utility. Not in the "a cot in the garage" kind of way… More in the "it's an Ikea tiny room! " Sort if way. As my friend said after we saw our small, functional rooms: "it's extremely adequate! " Staff are friendly, helpful, and tolerant of my clumsy French. The little breakfast is lacking any non-cheese protein, but Iis otherwise broad enough to be interesting. The restaurant next door is like an upscale Denny's and open quite late for the area. A godsend at the end of a long day on the road. The hotel will give a 15% coupon for there, which is not to be despised.

We just had a very pleasant stay in this hotel with a remarkable cleanliness. The staff is really at the availability and listening to the customers need and in addition it is smiling and really super friendly. We will return.
It is the same for the short straw located next to it.

Comfortable hotel for one night, breakfast is good and provided in choice. The beds are comfortable but the shower gives directly to the room which is problematic when one is not alone. Good hotel overall.

Cute, quiet. Nice budget hotel close to the autobahn. Family room was spacious enough for 4. Good service. Breakfast available. Restaurant next door as well as a chocolate store!

Very odd hotel. I think it may of been a senior care home before a hotel. The beds have green lights on the headboard that didn't allow us to have a good night rest and the TV needed to be unplugged or it keeps turning on. The hotel was clean and quiet. The location is great for exploring the beaches of Normandy. Front desk staff struggle with English but are very friendly.

A 2 star who deserves 3!

Not much to say about this hotel, it's what you would expect from an Ibis Budget. Our room was almost identical to one I previously stayed in Birmingham, UK. It's a bit weird that the shower is right on the bedroom so maybe only share a room here with people who you don't mind seeing you naked. It was clean and the staff were friendly so we were happy at the price point. Something to note is that it is a good distance from Bayeux town centre, so if you're there to see the tapestry you'll need a car to get there.

I have stayed here for a few years now and it is always very good. Clean, tidy and functional rooms, helpful friendly staff.
Restaurant next door has a good selection of meals at reasonable prices.
I would highly recommend Ibis Budget Bayeux to anyone who wants a central location to explore the area.

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Small rooms have their charm but also not a lot of space if you have large bags or suitcases. Something to keep in mind.

I will be staying here, again, in June. This will be my 3rd stay here and it is a great place. Very good value for money. The rooms are always clean and have all you need and amazingly quiet considering how close to main highway. Staff always polite and happy to help. I use Ibis as a base for exploring around the Normandy area as its pretty central. Breakfast in the morning, then I go out all day exploring the historic WW2 sites and come back in the evening to recharge. I usually have a meal in the Grill Courtepaille restaurant next door. The food has always been fabulous and I have never had a complaint about it. My regards to the staff at Ibis and I look forward to this years stay in less than 2 weeks (7 nights this year). Rob.

I stayed here for 3 nights. We drove to France to have a look at the beaches and museums. The hotel was in the perfect location. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to see and do. The city centre wasn't far either so was easy to find places to eat. There was also a lidl just down the road which was handy for buying food for on the go.

For this category of Ibis, the truth is that this very well, very new everything, located in a strategic site if you want to visit all about d-day, and with the advantage that being outside when you get tired of so much tourism, leave the car door and rest if any noise.
